WWE is signing a lot of legends deals. Hopefully this means more legends in the wwe2k video games as it’s been lacking. The annoying thing is they have them for a year or two then get pulled. And they aren’t even legends who have signed deals with other companies.

Ken Shamrock has signed a WWE legends deal
 
BREAKING NEWS: PW Nexus and Wrestlevotes report the Lucha Bros HAVE signed a multi-year deal with WWE and are headed to the main-roster.

Production of masks, T-shirts, and other promotional WWE materials have already begun.
 
Fightful reports Kevin Owens has been approached for a new WWE contract.

Owens has not signed a new deal as of yet and his contract is expected to be up at the end of the year.

AEW is expected to make Owens a big offer if he becomes available.
 
Ann Callis who represents Janel Grant is very hopeful Mr. McMahon will be indicted soon. They paused the case at the request of the U.S attorney who was conducting a investigation. Ann and Janel are happy about the pace of the investigation as they want the case to be handled correctly rather than it being rushed.

People will laugh but Miro is a guy who thinks he’s better than he is. In WWE he’s turn down numerious storylines and he sabotaged the love the storyline in WWE because he hated it. Granted the story sucked but just an example of what I was told then of miro being miro. Talking to a talent or two in AEw I’ve known for yrs things haven’t changed in AEW. Still difficult to work with and a complete mark for himself

Per Fightful Select, Miro has reportedly asked for his release from AEW. This follows several years of reported creative disagreements that kept stalling Miro’s run in the company.

Disagreements involved pitches to work with Jon Moxley being turned down and plans for Miro originally being a part of the All In Casino Gauntlet match falling through.
 
LUCHA BROS TO WWE UPDATE

Mike Johnson is reporting the Lucha Bros are still under AEW deals as of today, so they couldn't have signed anywhere else.

There is an expectation that when their deals expire, they are WWE-bound but as of today, legally, they could not have signed with anyone else.
 
Andrew Zarian on today's Mat Men podcast said that AEW PPVs will be on MAX... starting January 2025!

WBD could do it sooner, but they're planning on January. They won't likely have exclusivity on the PPVs, as they will be available elsewhere with traditional methods.
 
Andrew Zarian has said today he’s very certain that AEW will be simulcasting. This is a huge way of getting more profits to the company, which is very smart.

Also, it could look like Dynamite, Collision and assuming Shockwave will be available to watch live on MAX as well.

2 Fridays ago FOX did their biggest eating on Friday night in 6 months with their college football game. WWE sDL has had ratings drop for awhile now. One of the reasons fox got rid of SDL was they couldn’t defend the amount they paid on what they were getting back at the time

Fightful reports numerous influential names within the industry and some who have worked with AJ Styles believe his WWE contract is up within the next few months.

Fightful is working to clarify if the contract is up late this year or early next year.
 
Tomorrow will mark 15 years since ROH Glory By Honor VIII: The Final Countdown. This show would be marked by the (then) final match of Bryan Danielson vs Nigel McGuinness, against each other and in ROH, as both were heavily rumored to be heading to WWE. Here was the card:

During the latest episode of WrestleVotes Radio on SportsKeeda’s Backstage Pass Patreon, it was noted that WWE will change the logo/presentation of NXT.

Joey Votes: “The yellow aspect of NXT certainly looks to be changing. That is the internal speculation. It is more than possible that when they debut Tuesday night on the CW, the logo will remain the same, but the presentation and the feel of it may be a different. Can you speak on it?”

WrestleVotes: “Yeah, going back to the opening of the show, we discussed how the new presentation will be evolving, and I think NXT is in line for that next change. The video package we got on Tuesday night, kind of recapping the time that NXT spent on USA Network, as it moves over to CW, I think it’s putting a bow on that era and time we’ve seen NXT go from black and gold to 2.0 to this new black and gold yet again. I think now the next era on CW will be a whole different look. I think there will be a slightly different logo, and I think that you will see the removal of yellow from that moving forward and a more straightforward television show sort of presentation.”

Joey Votes: “Everything that we’ve heard internally reminds some people of the Las Vegas Raiders . Black, silver, white, clean, metallic almost. So, we’ll see if that’s where they go on Tuesday.”
 
Not a huge surprise but Vince came across as such a huge douche in the Netflix documentary. I haven’t watched in years but Shane seems like a legit good dude.
 
Maybe don’t go around telling people about your new job while still under contract with their current company. Fenix had time tact on for injury.

Penta and Fenix were going around telling people about their big WWE offer while still under AEW contract.

Now they'll be sitting still for another year because Fenix has injury time he owes the company.

If they had been quiet about their next move, they probably would be free right now.

There's a lesson to be learned here. Mercedes recently learned the same lesson with Megan Thee Stallion.

An update on The Lucha Bros/AEW/WWE situation. Fightful reports that Penta was telling numerous sources back in June that he had been in contact with WWE and that he and his brother, Rey Fenix, were a package deal and that they wanted to go to WWE.

AEW had offered a contract to the duo during the summer for them to stay and even had plans to put the Trios Titles on Death Triangle at All In. Wrestling Observer reports that Penta and Fenix both had months added to their deal due to their time off for injury. Fenix was out of action for a total of six months.

You know. I feel like had Penta just not blabbed about leaving AEW and going to WWE, then maybe the injury time wouldn't have been tacked on.
 
Swerve Strickland has responded to the reports that WWE believed AEW was paying him "far over" the market value.

"They only complain when a Black person gets paid, I will say that. We shake the foundation of things like that. 'Oh snap, wait. That's not what we would pay.' Then why are you calling me? Why are you asking me? If I'm not your concern then don't worry about it. Don't worry about my pockets and our money. We're good. You have your talent. You made your decision with me two years ago. No hard feelings from me. I keep it moving and I'm going to figure my way out and I'm going to build myself up."

It has been 791 days since a Black man has won a 1v1 PPV singles match on the WWE main roster. A show that was booked by Vince McMahon.

That means Triple H has NEVER booked a black man to win a PPV singles match on the main roster.
 
WWE planned to have Logan Paul beat lA knight at SummerSlam but he dropped the title after making controversial tweets involving a female Olympian boxer. Paul hasn’t been seen in WWE since and there’s no word on his status going forward if WWE is just keeping him out till heat dies down or if they plan on releasing him.
 
Ilja Dragunov tore his ACL at a live event over the weekend and will miss 6 to 9 months. Very unfortunate injury with him being so new to the main roster.

Shane is probably the only sane member. I’ve been working last 8 days and came down with a cold or something so I haven’t had a chance to watch. However I’ve seen Shane is the only one from what I’ve read or seen coming out any good. You feel sorry for the guy as it seems he always tried doing the right thing.

He’s also well respected in the business by talent for the bumps he took
 
WWE filed to trademark YES YES YES on September 30th, 2024.

Bryan Danielson had filed for the trademark on July 29th, 2024 but the attempt to file has now been marked "abandoned".
 
AEW is still confident Daniel Garcia will re-sign and have put together creative for him in the event that he does.

BREAKING NEWS: Fightful reports Former AEW Trios, Tag Team and TNT champion Luchasaurus, aka Killswitch has been hospitalized.

LUCHASAURUS is recovering after his fiance found him collapsed on Friday, September 27. He was rushed to the hospital where they found his blood oxygen below 80 percent and determined he had pneumonia in both longs. It was discovered that he was days away from permanent lung damage.

Killswitch has been on oxygen in the days that have followed, and was told to expect a recovery of over a month. His in-ring return is unclear.

Some news on the future of AEW Games after Fight Forever:

After AEW Fight Forever went well over budget and didn’t turn a profit, it’s unlikely that AEW would look to have another game built from scratch. AEW owns the game engine used and can bring it over to a new developer if they wanted.

A source said “There are feelers out to some of the larger developers in the space, including some obvious ones, to see what the interest in wrestling games are, they are doing their due diligence before any decision is made.”

Decision makers at AEW are “strongly considering” finding a new development partner for AEW Video Games moving forward, according to multiple sources. This comes after numerous issues surrounding the game’s development. One source said “They [AEW] knows that things didn’t go the way they expected,”

The game was over-budget, and it under delivered when it came out. It has AEW strongly considering moving to a new developer for their games.”

Honestly wasnt a terrible game. It was just way outdated roster wise and just not a lot of replay ability
 
Notable AEW talents, including Powerhouse Hobbs, Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, Adam Cole, Thunder Rosa, Jay White, and Julia Hart, have reportedly been observed backstage at recent AEW shows, indicating their impending clearance to compete in the AEW squared circle.

Shane is probably the only sane member. I’ve been working last 8 days and came down with a cold or something so I haven’t had a chance to watch. However I’ve seen Shane is the only one from what I’ve read or seen coming out any good. You feel sorry for the guy as it seems he always tried doing the right thing.

He’s also well respected in the business by talent for the bumps he took

I doubt there are many things you don’t already know but still a fun walk down memory lane. The Shane rift seemed to start when he approached Vince about buying the UFC and was basically laughed at and ridiculed by Vince, Steph and HHH. Obviously funny that it would have been a genius move and the UFC basically bought the WWE years later.
