Nice Divas match with Charlotte getting the win. You can see the Paige turn already happening.

Hope they give KO the Intercontinental Title for some time. That belt always seems better on a heel.

Y2J as the third member of Shield 2.0. Nice pop, but I feel like he's never gone, so it's not overly huge.
Ugh I was hoping they would use this as a way to promote an NXT guy... Never liked Jericho and it goes nowhere in the future storyline
Like who from NXT? Nobody big enough for this.

And I'm not really looking for a new Shield faction so this one time thing is fine for me.

Im the opposite, I was hoping they'd re-form... I wasn't expecting a star, was more hoping they would get a third guy to complete the team but not overshadow Reigns/Ambrose

I thought it would be Baron Corbin.
Thats who I was thinking, or maybe Samoa Joe but as soon as they said his name in pre-show I knew that wasnt it.

I like the Jericho choice. They need to keep building Stroman/Wyatts. And they didn't hurt Reigns/Ambrose in the process. Agree with not having Corbin at this point. Think he still needs time to develop in NXT. He shouldn't be jobbing to ####### Samoa Joe though.

Shame on the McMahons for not properly building young stars with a roster loaded with young talent. And because of that they need to risk the health of a 56 year old man to main event a PPV. He was legit hurt. That sucked seeing that.

Rollins put on a clinic for almost an hour to end a ####ty show.

Just saw clip of Sting. Sad to watch. Guy has definitely gotten himself into great shape.

Sounds like could be end of career with latest update.

Three title changes that are all for the better...but all people will do is complain about the ending. I get it.

It's a bummer, because Owens as IC champ, Cena as US champ and Charlotte as women's champ are all upgrades.

Hope rumors are true and WWE brings in Jay Lethal. Would be much better Rollins vs. Sting, Rollins vs. Kane, etc...

Great in the ring, can cut a great promo and in the prime of his career at 30. Now only if I had the confidence WWE would actually push him.

Sounds like a career ending injury to the neck for Sting.
Whiplash from the buckle bomb? I thought it looked more like a back issue/spasms with the way he was struggling to move.

Sting was shaking his hands earlier in the match like he was losing some feeling in his fingers. He did the top rope dive to the outside AFTER that, so I assumed he was feeling better.

The product hasn't been very good lately, but that was a good show. I approve of all the title changes. Was fun seeing Y2J wrestle, and a little hint of a heel turn there. Maybe he'll stick around for a little while.

Sad to hear about Sting, though. If this is it for him, it was an amazing run.

Damn shame about Sting if this how he goes out. The whole WWE run for him just felt off. Even his entrance just seems forced/off.

How I book the ending last night (post Sting injury):

Sheamus comes out. Hands briefcase to referee. Kane comes out, all evil and stuff with mask and hair.

Chokeslam to Rollins. Sheamus is giddy asking for another. Second chokeslam. Sheamus is over the moon. Kane calls for the Tombstone. Lifts Rollins up and holds him. Bell rings to start Sheamus' match. Kane delivers Tombstone. Sheamus goes in for the easy pin. Bell rings way to early for the pinfall. Lilian announces that the winner of the match due to DQ from outside interference is Seth Rollins. Sheamus loses the MITB without even having his match.

Kane/Rollins at next PPV in a blowoff with Rollins going over. Kane/Sheamus after that due to Kane ruining Sheamus' chance.

I read this and I like this as I hope I never see effing Sheamus ever again.

Backstage talk

- In regards to Sting suffering a reported neck injury in the WWE Night of Champions main event against WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins last night, PWInsider notes that talk going around WWE is that it was a neck or spinal injury but that has not been confirmed. There's talk that Sting may have went for medical tests last night or this morning, so they could still be waiting on an official diagnosis. There were a lot of people within the company who felt bad about Sting getting hurt last night as he's been considered great to work with.

As noted, Sting is scheduled to be at tonight's RAW from Laredo but it's believed he won't be booked in a physical role if he is used.

Got tickets next Monday for a showing of "The Resurrection of Jake The Snake Roberts". Included a Q&A with DDP and Jake.

What would be a good question to throw out to one or both of them?

Oooh yeah... the Black Machismo. Great talent. They'd be morons for not trying to get him.

His promo with flair is/was my favorite in tna history. He's gotten even better on the mic. Only thing that's prevented him so far from being more than he is is getting Jay lethal over. Black machismo was awesome but it just has a short shelf life. I think he's every bit as good as Rollins and Daniel bryan. Guy has charisma for days and the love for wrestling you very rarely genuinely see anymore. Only way I couldn't see him succeeding in wwe is having every word scripted for him

Jake was one of the greatest talkers ever and DDP was pretty good. I bet that will be a good Q&A. Don't have any good suggestions for a question. Maybe get their take on Sting's injury when more info will be revealed by next week. At age 56, Sting was fantastic. Wonder if he does DDP Yoga?

LUCHA UNDERGROUND IS COMING BACK!!!!!! And it'll be back at Boyle Heights!

EL REY NETWORK, MARK BURNETT AND UNITED ARTISTS MEDIA GROUP GREENLIGHT SECOND SEASON OF ‘LUCHA UNDERGROUND’
Professional Wrestling Series Goes Back Into Production In Fourth Quarter 2015

Austin, TX– September 21, 2015 – El Rey Network and Emmy Award®-winning producer Mark Burnett and United Artists Media Group today announced that the Lucha Libre wrestling series “Lucha Underground” will return for a second season. The action packed, character-driven series will go back into production in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles in the fourth quarter of 2015 and will premiere on El Rey Network in early 2016.

“We brought together some of the best athletes from lucha libre and wrestling to fight in Los Angeles this year on ‘Lucha Underground’. It was fresh, it was compelling and it got the attention and created buzz across the entire wrestling world,” said Executive Producer Mark Burnett.

El Rey Network Chairman and Founder Robert Rodriguez, said: “The explosive combination of athleticism and storytelling makes for such great television and I’m so pleased that this legendary wrestling tradition will continue to have a home on El Rey Network.”

Ancient tradition, extraordinary athleticism, and a flare for theatrics combine in El Rey Network’s wrestling series, “Lucha Underground”. The riveting original introduces American audiences to the high-flying aerial maneuvers, slingshot moves, dramatic masks, intricate, rapid-fire combinations and distinctive wrestling techniques of lucha libre, one of Mexico’s most popular sports. Fans will have a ringside seat as masked villains and heroes face off to battle for wrestling supremacy. It provides enthusiastic viewers with an incredibly visceral and explosive experience with a focus on the artistry, originality, intense action and over-the-top characters that has come to define this phenomenal fan-favorite. A celebration of lucha libre’s long-standing Mesoamerican heritage and culture dating back to 1863, this is programming that must be seen to be believed.

“Lucha Underground” is produced by United Artists Media Group in association with FactoryMade Ventures and AG Studios for El Rey Network. Executive producers are Mark Burnett, Eric Van Wagenen (also showrunner) and Brian Edwards of United Artists Media Group; Dorian Roldán from Lucha Libre AAA; Alejandro Garcia and Antonio Cué Sánchez-Navarro from AG Studios; El Rey Network co-founder Robert Rodriguez; and FactoryMade Ventures and El Rey Network co-founders John Fogelman and Cristina Patwa. The series will be distributed internationally by United Artists Media Group.

Do they honestly think viewers will believe that Big Show can beat Lesnar? I can't believe they had Cesaro job to that guy last night.

They had Kofi Kingston versus Lesnar in the Beast In The East. Big Show is a bit more plausible.

I think you're watching to see:

1) Lesnar shrug off a Big Show punch.

2) Show visiting Suplex City.

This point in his career..I don't get the hate for The Show. Yeah....he should have probably just remained A Face (and did the "hush the crowd down before he smacked his opponent in the chest)....and maybe he should retire.....but he just seems to be the consumate professional.

I just can't get excited about Lesnar vs Show...I really wish they'd have Lesnar in there against someone he doesn't have such a long (and recent) history with. I'd love a match with Jericho, for instance (Luke Harper would be fun too...even the Miz). I really liked the Kofi match in Japan for what it was...Brock being a monster force of nature that overwhelms his opponents.

Thunderlips hit the nail on the head. Whether Show makes a Suplex City visit remains to be seen and would be the attraction.

This was a pretty awesome time last night.

The movie itself is a solid documentary. Good to pretty good. It dragged in some points, but I had to remind myself I was watching all of the You Tube clips DDP was putting out over a year ago that they were now using in the movie. You could say the movie is a 90 min commercial for DDP Yoga, and you probably wouldn't be wrong, but it still tells a very good story of falling as far as you can and then redemption and then falling again and then bigger redemption.

Footage of the match Jake had right before getting help is extremely sad, Scott Hall falling down drunk sad. The match lasted 30 seconds with him getting pinned because he was passed out on the mat. A promoter tried to go out and take a DDT from Jake to appease the paying crowd of 700, but Jake wouldn't do it. The footage from the WWF/E looked washed out, like they filmed it from a TV. Not sure how much permission was given from the WWE on the footage, but they couldn't do the movie without it. No commentary from anyone currently working full time with the WWE. Austin, Jericho, Edge all spoke a ton on the movie.

After the movie, Jake, DDP and Steve Yu, the filmmaker came out for a short Q&A. Nothing new really, other than how DDP and the Yu met and started working. Jake was humorous throughout, dropping plenty of cuss words, and then choked up talking about family he had in the theater and the fact he was swimming with his grandkids at the hotel right before he arrived at the theater. The first part of the Q&A was going on while the credits were still rolling, and they listed every person that contributed through crowdsourcing for Jake's shoulder surgery and the list was HUGE. Made you feel good about humanity for a min.

After the Q&A, they had a short meet and greet/photo op. I got about 3 mins with the Steve Yu, congratulated him on the film and we talked about seeing the certain footage on You Tube then seeing it again on the big screen (namely the Scott Hall phone call). He was genuinely excited to be there and talk to the fans. I shook Jake's hand and made a joke that the last time I was in the same room with him I was 9 and he was teaming with Chris Adams and Geno Hernandez against the Von Erichs. He smiled, said that was a long time ago, and that was about it. Took a photo in between Jake and DDP. Then I got to shake DDP's hand, said I loved DDP Yoga, it's help me lose 25 pounds and can't wait for the app to come out. He stops down everything to tell me some details of what the app is going to do, migrating data from different points and such, and then gave me a big hug like I have known him for years. Honestly, it was really cool to see that the positive DDP you see on screen was about as real and genuine.

I marked out the whole night. 9 year old me for Jake, 40 year old me for DDP.

Bogart - I've heard DDP will call people who've order DDP Yoga. Can you imagine that?
Absolutely. I have no doubt about it. Once you buy the program, there is a website community for you to sign up and update progress, communicate with other users, etc. I'm sure he calls those on there from time to time.

In the early days of DDP Yoga (YRG - Yoga for Regular Guys), I think he called on every order to make sure they were satisfied.

I always knew DDP was this amazing source of positive energy, but confirmed last night. Meeting him last night, even for just a few moments, and granted, playing to the crowd, the guy just makes you feel good about yourself. He didn't have to explain the app, he didn't have to hug me, he didn't have to tell me to keep up the good work, but he did. While Jake was clearly there as a chore, DDP and Steve Yu wanted to be there.

The product is hitting a real low point right now. Just nothing exciting happening.
Made this before I finished Raw. Show was terrible BUT Reigns-Wyatt was great and that was a GREAT ending.

WWE Raw’s Ratings Have Hit A ‘Historic Low’

As writer Justin Henry points out, things may be a little more severe than usual. While Raw usually sees a drop in ratings when up against football, this year’s first three Raws of the NFL season have seen a steady, 13.7 percent decrease. Last year, that decrease was only 3.8 percent. That’s not indicative of a casual fan choosing to watch a football game instead of Raw — that’s people who choose to watch Raw choosing to tune out. What, are human resources evaluations not enough to keep wrestling fans interested? What about Miz TV? Did you tell them about the Miz TV?

I lost 40 lbs on the DDP Yoga program to where I'm now as thin as I can be and I've kept it off for a year. Happy to hear he's a class act in real life too. I'd love to see that movie at some point.
