Apparently DX was only Shawn and Hunter too Who knewRAW jerking the curtain with DX was painful to watch. It was like a living, breathing embodiment of Bruce Springsteen's "Glory Days".
$$$$ Talks unfortunately and thats what they are doing. I don't want to get too political but unfortunately with this Saudi Thing it could so I guess I'll start it. The Trump and WH comments were sickening and scary too. Apparently the journalist was very anti Trump. This might be the first of many journalists the WH pays off for saying mean things about Trump. This was another step the 3rd Reich took of siezing absolute power in Germany. I'm a history major and it's just disgusting and shocking how similar the tactics are. Like we just had a ####### war to stop this 70 or so yrs ago and we're letting it happen here? Another big thing here is Linda McMahon is pat of Trump's cabinet. He also has a weapons deal with The Saudi's needing to go through and I think some real estate deals in the country. This Saudi Arabia show is truly obscene. I mean, it already was, but now they killed a reporter and the WWE is still going to be their show pony? Terrible.
Then there's the brawny tale of Don Leo bodyslamming a braggadocios Haystack Calhoun, who claimed it couldn't be done. That night, in the battle royal, Don Leo instructed all the boys to head for the ring ropes at once, leaving him alone with a stunned Calhoun, who had only just met the Mormon Giant. "Calhoun turns around and Leo is facing him and he crotched him. When he crotched him, Calhoun tried to sit down," explained Dutch Savage, a tag partner in '77. "Leo picked him up with his right arm, picked him up in the bodyslam position and bodyslammed him. When he did, he crapped himself. The big fat guy, his stomach went, wobble, wobble, like a rubber ball. You know those overalls he used to wear, the cutoff overalls? Crap went all over the audience, people were screaming, yelling, laughing." Back in the dressing room, Calhoun is mumbling to himself about revenge, and Jonathan, chew in his mouth, calmly said, "Well, there 'Stacks, if you ain't careful, I'm going to do it here on the concrete." (Naturally, Jonathan and Calhoun would be championship partners later, in 1966, in B.C.)
The nostalgia marks in the KSA probably will suffer for the political ramifications of what their government has (allegedly) done. People suffer for the actions of their rulers all the time. (I'm struggling with the analogy below:
If it wasn't fair to the MSU student body to strongly punish the athletic body for the actions of those in administration, it's not fair to the WWE fans in Saudia Arabia to punish them for the actions of those in government. Where does this statement fall apart?
Iran and Cuba)Then why shouldn't MSU students suffer because of the Administration? The nostalgia marks in the KSA probably will suffer for the political ramifications of what their government has (allegedly) done. People suffer for the actions of their rulers all the time. (Iran and Cuba)
Abyss had his induction into the Impact HoF spoiled by Aries and Impact exchanging many heated words (NSFW).Aries no sells loss to Johnny Impact. for the Impact World title.
Crowen Jewel is nothing more then a birthday bash for the Prince apparently. It won't be many "normal" you and me type fans at the event. This is apparently a party for the Prince and the Prince is paying WWE big money to have guys like HHH. HBK, Undertaker, Kane, Brock etc there. Vince and creative are basically doing the Prince's bidding.I'm struggling with the analogy below:

I haven't seen BFG yet may watch later tonight or tomorrow before SD but theres rumors with Aries done with Impact right now this could be a Russo type worked Shoot.Abyss had his induction into the Impact HoF spoiled by Aries and Impact exchanging many heated words (NSFW).
This also from him on Most of BC EliteUpdate: with WWE removing the event from the lineup then saying it should be there not even saying yes we will put it back, as reported by me yesterday all signs point wwe WILL CANCEL CROWN JEWEL. Another @atomantpr exclusive
so Meltzer said that the bullet club is considering their options. This is true. A few months ago wwe gave them offers but these did not included Marty Scurl nor Flip Gordon. This is why Flip signed with ROH and Marty is because he’s still Under contract until after WM. So the word now is that they might wait until after mania to decide. The offers are there close to 5m a year for each and an NXT deal for Marty and Hangman. Cody might not go and stay independent. The idea is to have The Elite vs Shield

That was actually pretty good. Given she's not great on the mic but she got rolling once she started getting mad.
Hey! Long time no see GB! Where have you been? I hope all is well in Opusland. That was actually pretty good. Given she's not great on the mic but she got rolling once she started getting mad.
Been lurking. Most of my posts were confined to the Panthers thread in the Pool. Had a lot go on with my wife's health for a while but that's all stabilizing now so I'm working my way back. Good to see you and everyone else again. Always feels like home when I come back. I miss it when I'm gone.Hey! Long time no see GB! Where have you been? I hope all is well in Opusland.
Thats what I think Shane Helms said on a podcast. However there's some speculation that this was a shoot done. AA and Morrison were in a bit of a twitter war recently as well.Pro Wrestling Sheet says AA's contract expired at BFG.
I was there last night and the place erupted. The Bellas are from Philly lived awhile with their Grandfather in Philly. When they came out they were getting booed out of the building. Ronda had her best promo in WWE to date last night. Loved how she literally slut shamed the Bellas without using the word either. WWE had to get Seth to give the Cheap Philly pops in the beginning because everytime Roman tried to talk the crowd booed. I saw today that WWE again turned the crowd volume down because being there last night you could hardly hear Seth Talk at times. Someone started a "We Want Gritty" chant during that too. Balor got a huge pop but once Jinder Juice came out talk about killing a crowd. Rush got a good reaching being from ROH. Lita and Trish got big pops as well. A lot of people were disappointed neither BoD or DX made appearances. I was only gonna watch this on TV till my Co worker texted me on Sat (he was at another store last week) and Said he scored free tickets for me and 3 other co workers as he does some production work for WWE when they come to town as an alternate. I didn't see him after the show or today at work. Really wanted to ask him the feeling in the back was about the whole Crown Jewel PPV. I see WWE snaked their way into the typical mention the PPV but not where it is mode though. Vince has a hell of a lot more to lose by going then if he doesn't. If People aren't watching WWE now those on the cusp of leaving are threatening to go and not return.
That person should've been tossed out on their butt. Gritty is the stuff nightmares are made of. Then again, he's PERFECT for the town that booed Santa Claus.I was there last night and the place erupted. The Bellas are from Philly lived awhile with their Grandfather in Philly. We booed a drunk guy playing Santa. We only had 3 wins all year the team sucked. The Guy playing him didn't deserve the Booing and snowballs but he said himself for had bombed he was he probably played a ####ty Santa and deserved it. What can I say we voice our opinion to the closes thing around. At the time Santa seemed like an easy targetTom Servo said:That person should've been tossed out on their butt. Vince and WWE elite hate people who get over on their own. Podcast I listen too did an interview 3 yrs ago with a former Creative member. he said if you get over on your own and WWE didn't want you over someone else they'll do everything in their power to turn the hype down. Tye Dillinger then hated the 10 chants so they kept him off TV hoping to curb them. Daniel Bryan despite other non WWE Drs clearing him to return WWE wouldn't because he was more over then Roman. Also if you are from another Company coming in good luck because unless Vince likes you well you aren't going over the guys he likes. I think once HHH takes over more you'll see the like of Balor and Owens pushed more as they are his guys. Vince also doesn't watch NXT so that can be a problem too.I don’t understand the WWE. They talk about how they’re all about the fans, but they seem to enjoy destroying fan favorites.
Strowman was loved by the fans. So they bundle him with heels, pit him against the Shield, and turn him into a wuss rather than the Monster Among Men. All to push Roman.
On Smackdown, the fans love Becky Lynch so they try to make her into a coward and opportunist. And when that doesn’t work, they bring out a beloved Hall of Famer to give her a scolding and try to turn people against her. All to push Charlotte.
I would think these tactics would just make people dislike Roman and Charlotte all the more.
TBF, you can't listen to the fans all the time. The old adage for GMs is if you listen to the fans in your decision making, you'll soon be sitting with them.I don’t understand the WWE. They talk about how they’re all about the fans, but they seem to enjoy destroying fan favorites.

So, your point is that they can’t give the fans what they want because it’ll make VKM determined to do what he wants, even if the fans don’t want it?Tom Servo said:TBF, you can't listen to the fans all the time. To put things in some context, after Bootista and Daniel Bryan getting the treatment the fans wanted, VKM decided to push Reigns through. This treatment continues to this day. Now, would things be different if Batista had been allowed to be the big guy for a time? Part of me thinks yes, since VKM has his thing for big guys. Bluetista gets his run, exits the stage and maybe you get a run with Bryan and Reigns takes a backseat/stays part of the Shield...or maybe not. The point is, VKM gave the fans what they wanted and was hell-bent on getting his way with Reigns, the fans be damned.
VKM can do what he wants; I’m free to support or not support them as I see fit.So, your point is that they can’t give the fans what they want because it’ll make VKM determined to do what he wants, even if the fans don’t want it?
This has been shot down by all three parties.Jim Ross & Chris Jericho Working With Billionaire To Launch New Wrestling Promotion (Exclusive)
The groundwork is being laid for a new wrestling promotion. It involves some of the top players in the industry and financial backing from a billionaire family already involved in professional sports.
Jim Ross and Chris Jericho have been working with renowned agent Barry Bloom in putting the pieces together. JR’s contract with WWE expires shortly and he has declined an offer to renew. He has been sending out feelers to select WWE performers, while Jericho has been handling the New Japan side. Bloom was recently in Japan taking meetings related to this deal.
The project is being financed by the Khan family. Shahid Khan, the patriarch, is one of the wealthiest men on the world (and a colorful personality). He owns the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars and Fulham F.C. of the English Premier League. Shahid’s son, Tony, is a big wrestling fan and has been hands-on with getting this off the ground. He follows a few wrestlers on Twitter, including Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks and Marty Scurll.
Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks are on board, as are Hangman Page and a few others. Kenny Omega’s status is unclear. For what it’s worth, Bill Goldberg is a client of Barry Bloom, along with JR and Jericho. When The Elite has talked about sticking together next year, this is what they’ve been alluding to. Jim Ross has been coy about this on his podcast, vaguely teasing something big on the horizon without showing his cards.
With the A-level talent they are getting commitments from, the group will burn through a ton of cash quickly. They are moving forward with the understanding that significant losses are expected for the first couple years.
Talks are underway with AXS to secure a TV deal. AXS TV executive Adam Swift is fast-tracking this. AXS currently airs New Japan Pro Wrestling and recently announced Jeanie Buss’ Women of Wrestling premieres in January. Sinclair Broadcasting, which provided logistical support for All In and has been acting in good faith, has been in the dark about this story.
The timeline for this going live is 12-16 months from now (late 2019 / early 2020).
That’s sad to see. It’s more important that he get healthy than anything else.Wow...Roman Reigns has leukemia....giving up the belt.
Yeah when he came out and started speaking I was like "Holy #### he's turning heel" then a swift kick in the nuts like you were already hit in the stomach. Not good. There were rumors over the weekend apparently that Roman was "injured" but no one put two and two together. Roman from those who saw him seemed fine and him being a top guy he was also not on the house shows the weekend. One would think oh maybe its not bad enough that they cancer his match with Bruan and Brock so its probably precautionary. Can't have your champ hurt going into a PPV as big as that. That’s sad to see. It’s more important that he get healthy than anything else.
Everything is worse nowWow...Roman Reigns has leukemia....giving up the belt.
Actually, VKM isn’t that low. Edge had to retire as champion a few years ago and gave a similar speech. Also, when Finn Balor had to surrender the Universal title due to injury. It's really a statement about Vince that a small part of me wondered " is this a work?". He is that low.
I have never been one of the Roman haters. I think he's good in the ring but could be better on the mic. The huge constant push did him a real disservice. You got to grow it a bit let the fans find a reason to be into a title run. T&P Joe, hope to see you soon.
Pretty sure it was Vince who pushed for an incest story line involving his children. He is low enough to try most anything.Tom Servo said:Actually, VKM isn’t that low. IOW, when real life intrudes upon story lines, Vince plays it straight.
Personally not sure why people were so hot to see Dean go heel. I think he does the slightly unstable but generally good guy shtick better than the heel shtick. But he has all the heat he could.wsnt right now and unbelievably Seth is even more over as a face. Various sources are saying this is WWE getting back to what they wanted to do before Dean got injured. Leading to a Wrestlemania match between the two.Jayrok said:So is this Ambrose's Shawn Michaels moment... when Marty went through the barber shop glass? Shawn's big heel turn launched him to the top. But Shawn had charisma. Dean seems like a doofus.

Vince would go that low. We're talking a guy who wanted an incest storylineIWC- "Vince will try anything to get Roman over"
Im not a fan but hope he gets well.
Look up John Moxley CZW and then tell me that Dean doesn't have charisma.Jayrok said:So is this Ambrose's Shawn Michaels moment... when Marty went through the barber shop glass? Shawn's big heel turn launched him to the top. But Shawn had charisma. Dean seems like a doofus.
