Not digging the Elias face turn, I think it's a colossal mistake.  I've been a huge fan of his work but this saps a good portion of what was getting him over and turns him into a vanilla JAG.
I haven't even watched the product at all since they turned him face. I'm a huge fan of his. The product is just so unbearable it's not even worth the effort to watch the clips.

Elias is absolute money but yeah they'll probably turn him into a mickey mouse babyface (if they haven't already). He's one guy you can tell the guy isn't reading 100% word for word off a script. That's why he stands out. He controls the crowd........and reacts to them. Everyone else but maybe a handful are just so robotic.

Saw they just got the lowest ratings ever. I wonder if Fox is regretting their cable deal with this sinking ship of a promotion.
I read Fox wants Rousey on Smackdown.  As proven, her on the show makes a difference in the ratings!!! :lmao:  It really just goes to show how desperate networks are for original content these days.

Exactly.  And, sadly he's well on his way.  Such a waste.

House shows as good as any to attend. Cheaper tickets and less crowds. Tbh all their shows are house shows anymore. Some just happen to be televised.

YouTube clips are good for quick viewing and seeing acts that are good (like Elias imo). Can't fathom sitting through 2-3+ straight hours of what they're doing right now. It's commonly why I hear more and more people liking nxt. It's shorter (and results in less cringe worthy promos).
You don't even need youtube its the same show each week

They seem to drag out everything, Braun was red hot, a couple years ago, maybe 1.5 years ago and they missed their spot.  Elias was RED HOT as a heel at one point and then they just didn't have anything to do with him.
There's been some rumors with Braun backstage that he keeps shooting himself in the foot. He didn't spend a lot of time in NXT and he does stuff in the back you wouldn't view as proper etiquette. I did read however in NXT it's more of a relaxed family affair backstage but on the main roster they are expected to Mind their Ps and Qs. He's apparently difficult to work with at times and isn't always safe in the ring.

False FOX wants to make Smackdown legit Sports type show. They also want to get Cormier for Commentary I believe as a color guy. FOX wants to present WWE like they would a real sports show. They want to make it look legit. SO I can see Fox not doing the stupid gimmick holiday matches and stuff. Fox is paying huge money and there's rumors that FOX with Smackdown could become the A show given the money they are giving WWE. It's why I think if we have another shake up like it's been rumored given next October start with FOX you'll see more big names headed to SD over RAW. There's also rumors they want to air NXT on Fox as well and have programming for WWE through the week.

Sounds like what ESPN tried to do with the AWA.  Guess how that worked out?

To be fair, Verne didn't have much of a talent base by then. I'm not saying your point isn't valid, but Vince has the talent depth to do this.
True.  It'll be interesting, presentation wise, whether it would work.

im sure that'll go well in 2019. About as well as the post-ppv "press conferences" wwe tried a couple years back to legitimize it. Which lasted maybe 2 months
NJPW does let the wrestlers cut promos after their matches. If WWE could trust their talent enough to do it, it could work...but that's a big request for them.

You do realize NJPW does this constantly after events right? They also have PC's before the events too. It works pretty well And are you talking about Raw Talk and Talking Smack? Talking Smack is one of the most popular things people wanted back. Miz cut one of his best ever promos on DB on TS

WWE wants Robots. Its why the promos are so bad however in NXT and NXT UK the promos aren't scripted. You can tell what a difference they are. Just look at some of the NXT Talent at the main rosters Promos from NXT and now. Completey different.

Not I'm not talking about Talking Smack which was good. Fitting they got rid of it because it was arguably better than the actual shows.

WWE tried to do actual staged/scripted post-PPV press conferences a couple years ago. It was a colossal flop. That you don't remember it says all you need to know. It didn't last long because it was a complete waste of time.

Yeah, those looked awkward. If they did something more along the lines of NJPW, that would be far better.

Is it really true that Lesnar hasnt fought on Raw since 2002?
Last match he had on either show (televised, non-PPV) was a March Smackdown in 2004 against Hardcore Holly.  But yes, looks like his last televised match on Raw was July 22, 2002 against Tommy Dreamer in a Singapore Cane match.  He did wrestle Big Show on a more recent Raw dark match March 20, 2017.

Note: His Raw debut was March 18, 2002, he was moved to Smackdown July 30th and his first WWE Title win was Aug 25, 2002.  He was the first champion that did not defend on both shows and forced Raw to have their own World Championship.

Fox and USA Network have deals in place for next year that apparently Fox in particular if SD ratings go lower then what they expect Fox can and will change the airing time and possible day of SDLIVE if the Ratings aren't good.

Honestly I didn't even pay attention to after PPVs. I just watched the live reviews of different podcasts until I found one I really enjoy. The host of the one I love right now is 4 yrs older then me but his birthday is a few days after my own. Really great Patreon and interacts with the fans well. I never really cared for anything after the WWE PPVs.

According to several sources Braun Strowman may not be ready for TLC match. Theres rumors of possible backstage attack or something. Possible Bray Wyatt Replacing him?

Let Bray replace Braun, then after Bray wins he can anoint Matt Hardy as the new Raw GM!  Imagine the possibilities!!!

Hour out from a house show. The holiday tour always seems to be pretty fun.

It'll be the first time (excluding Survivor Series) I've watched the Raw lineup since the Monday after Summerslam. Hoping Ronda and Finn have some time and maybe we get a peek at a returning Bray as a possible warmup for TLC.

Nice.  Kinda impressed Rousey is making the house show run

Balor is home with Illness. Apparently bug going around locker room Bliss had the same illness. Balor was sent home from South American tour last weekend. Probably won't do anything till TLC

Ah, yeah thanks. Third row on the floor. Roode & Gable and the Revival just had a helluva match. Really good stuff, they should give them more air time.

Bah gawd the baby faces just came out of the locker room to stop the heels. Must be a house show exclusive thing now, but it popped the crowd hard.

The Briscoes became 10-time RoH tag team champions last night at Final Battle.  Interestingly, most of the Elite were booked to lose - Cody to Jay Lethal, the Young Bucks (+ SCU) to the Briscoes, and Hangman page to Jeff Cobb. The only one who wasn't jobbed out was Marty Scurll who (presumably) "retired" Christopher Daniels.

Show was really, really good. I'm to the point now that if you say you don't like Ronda that I become offended. She's fantastic. Both women's title matches and the WWE title match were the best of the night.

I wish Seth/Dean put on the same match they did at the house show Friday instead of the normal wrestling match they had last night.

Seth vs Dean was put in the death spot. They should have been earlier in a no DQ match, and then the Corbin beatdown should have happened right before the main. It deserved to be the top story from Raw imo.
