I was able to meet Sandman and Francine today. Sandman was giving me crap about my Hawaiian shirt. 🤣 Francine was saying something to me when he looked at her and said WILL YOU SHUT UP HE IS TRYING TO PUT US OVER!! 🤣🤣🤣

Both are very cool people. I got my money’s worth. 👍

See people think I'm kidding when I say Sandman is a cool guy. Where did you meet them at?

Claudio Castognoli is the NEW RING OF HONOR WORLD CHAMPION!!!!!!! Blackpool Combat Club another title. This is Claudio's first reign as the ROH Champion 36th title winner of the strap

:goodposting:

People still listen to Prichard? Became unbearable many years ago.

Have checked out Kevin Nash's new podcast with Sean Oliver (Kayfabe Commentaries). Giving it a shot because Kev's a good talker with loads of stories......and Conrad Thompson isn't the host. 🙏
I was told that Bruce has a 10-year embargo on discussing modern day stuff, so we have a long wait to hear the stuff we want to hear.  But as mentioned above, if we get anything, it's gonna be the sanitized spin we always get.

Paul London was on a pod yesterday before Vince announced his retirement. First he said He was surprised the Vince stuff hasn't come out a decade sooner said a lot of wrestlers knew what Vince did and it says a lot that wrestlers wanted to protect their jobs

He also said Ashley Massaro was harassed by Vince and Kevin Dunn to repeatedly fly on Vince's private jet. London said they did it to a few other divas but didn't mention any names. Said Ashley would be crying to him about it.

Paul London didn't hold back in the interview at all.

Great PPV for ROH Loved ROH since day 1 and TK has really done a great job making ROH feel like ROH. Can't wait for the TV deal.

Dragon Lee Vs Rush was a great Lucha Libra Brother vs Brother match

FTR vs The Briscoes was great one of the best tag Matches ever

Martinez vs Deeb wasn't great but I got it

Joe vs Lethal started out barn on fire and just got better

Dalton and The Boys winning the Trio's titles was cool

Wheeler vs Daniel Garcia was great good as well. Love Regal being on Commentary for ever BCCC match.

I read that WWE was pretty worried about what the new stuff was. I checked in with a few sources who said WWE was in absolute panic and was an absolute ####show these days figuring out what to do. Vince still has his stocks which are the highest amount of anyone but has no control over anything else. I think him retiring was more of Khan and Mcmahon's family trying to separate him from the company. Was told if it wasn't for the allegations he wouldn't have done this.

I was going to work when the Triple H news broke today he essentially has Lauranitis role. Didn't get much time but checked in with a few sources who said something BIG WAS HAPPENING IN WWE but couldn't tell if it'd happen today or next week.

Khan and Steph essentially are the CEOs. Hunter and Prichard are head of creative. HBK in charge of NXT. I've heard from others that Vince is done with WWE and his character won't return to TV either. No Word on if Kevin Dunn is still there and I've heard several unconfirmed reported that Jeff Jarrett is already on the champing Block. From numerious others there is more changes coming. Company wide all hands on deck Zoom meeting was at 5PM before SDL.

Brock walked out because he heard the McMahon news and said #### this if Vince isn't here I'm quitting. Apparently Brock was talked to and reassured that WWE would honor the contract he had with Vince still till it was done. It's known in the company Hunter was against resigning part timers like Brock to huge deals as he felt that money could've gone else where and save a few talents jobs.

Some of this stuff here is already public but unfortunately I was at work when most of it wasn't and got some stuff to from people. I only had enough time to get it to the podcast I listening to and see if his sources could confirm this too which they did.

Also told that don't expect full changes in WWE quick. Some storylines may change but they will wait till after Summer Slam to reset some of those. Others will play out do to them being so deep into them already. Hopefully we'll see NXT call ups used right on the main roster and some more care for the Tag division. Hopefully they stop pushing guys like Lashley and bringing in the part timers who can barely work to try and score a cheap ratings grades as well.

There's other stuff I've heard but most of it is unconfirmed or I want to check with others before throwing it out there. I will say Sasha was in Boston her hometown where SDL was tonight. There's some word possible she could be back in the company now with Vince gone and Hunter EVP.
Pritchard and Dunn are hone for sure, but I think getting rid of Jarrett would be a mistake. He's the only one on staff right now that has run a wrestling promotion.  Be best to keep him on and use that knowledge.

Prichard is head of creative right now with Hunter apparently unless things change, which could happen as I've heard other major changes might be coming. I think Dunn is gone as Hunter worked with Vince back in the day and Vince showed him a lot about the production and such. NXT was filmed differently too and produced differently then the main roster as well.

Double J done is really unconfirmed at this time. I haven't heard why but I have a few reasons why. I think he ends up staying though but wouldn't be surprised if he was moved to work with the younger talent in NXT.

It was a retro toy fair in a vacant lot in Niles, Ohio. Later on, they did one at a toy store in Erie.

Yeah I didn't see him or Francine promoted for any wrestling event so I was curious and I'm usually on top of these things for former ECW talent. Brian Hefron AKA The Blue Meanie who's a Philly guy too sometimes DM's me promotional stuff he's doing. He's another awesome person if you get a chance to ever meet.

Are you living in Ohio? For some reason I thought you lived somewhere up in Canada

A few new notes from headlines and other places.

* Shane McMahon won't be coming back any time soon. It's said him and Steph are on pretty bad terms right now. I talked to a few people who said they wouldn't rule Shane coming back eventually but since the RR incident the heat and all need to settle down

* In other news Steph and Paul Heyman are on great terms compared to the start of the millennium. It's said to keep an eye on Paul Heyman for a bigger role and Paul and Steph see eye to eye on a lot. Paul is a wrestling guy with a lot of smarts and knows how to book shows. Just don't let him run the money portion of the shows and you are gonna be doing great. Prichard took most of Vince's duties including Gorilla Position at SDL and heads both main shows creative. Not ruled out that Prichard keeps the job and Heyman has been a suspected replacement if that were too happen.

Another note. Gresham apparently asked for his release and had a heated argument with TK prior to ROH DBDH PPV. Was not happy about being pulled from other gigs recently nor how he was booked in AEW. Calls lack of communication between him and company. Called Khan and racist apparently and has said he won't be retiring to wrestling anytime soon. Some in the company including wrestlers were upset that Gresham phoned in his match with Claudio. This is also probably the reason that match went on first do to the situation and only lasted as long as it did. Other matches ended up going longer to get the time AKA Tag title match that could've probably ended 1O mins sooner.

SRS and others have reported recently that Tony Khan is no longer in charge of Talent Relations. I've heard a few instances where TK didn't realize a talent wasn't told something AKA The Shida situaion where she went to Japan for an event and then do to Visa issues had to be pulled from the Owen Hart Tournament. I haven't heard anything about her having those issues cleared up yet which is why we haven't seen her on TV. But Tony did apologize to Shida for the incident and she seems fine. When I asked someone who might know whats going on they said don't worry about Shida she'll be back at some point. Given the pandemic and how things are backed up I'm sure the Vias issue is still bing cleared up

Another Incident people like to talk about was big Swole. I've said it the past but numerious people said she was hard to work with and walked around like her you know what didn't stink. Thought she was much better then many of her peers. I was told by 2 others in other promotions not associated with AEW to not trust anything Swole says. She also threw many of her peers under the bus with her comments from Nayla, Jade, Sonny Kiss, Shida etc who were minorities and others she claimed AEW didn't have a diversified roster.

Others I can't say. Cage it was more Creative wise there was nothing for him that made sense. TK was planning if he got the ROH deal across to use him there but didn't want to say anything to BC till it was official so I get BC's frustration.

joey and Marko just weren't going to get renewed and someone should've informed them that. I don't know if TK was still head of Talent though.

I live in NW PA about 60 miles from the Ohio line.

Killer Kelly former of WWE NXTUK made a vignette on a return to Impact July 7th. After her Dec 2O2O match in the knockouts Tag Tourney she left and IMPACt gave her a contract that day. Do to the pandemic she got stuck in Portgual her home. She battled some mental illness and other issues. Said She's been under contract with Impact since that Dec and they've paid her and will honor the contract.

Really happy to see Killer Kelly again. She wasn't properly used in WWE and was one of the really cool talents unknown at the time to get behind.

Vince wanted to leave after SUmmerslam then Compromised to do MSG send off. However board got together and decided to just put Paul levasque in charge of creative instead.

Bryan Alvarez has more on the possible news coming. WSJ has another very damaging article coming out and apparently Real Sports is doing something that could absolutely destroy Vince's image for good. WWE tried to get ahead of the news of Vince retiring. The SEC is involved as the money Vince paid off was company money and from the a decade period or so should've been filed under company expenses. So WWE could be in trouble for that financially and tax wise. However the board and company are cooperating as of now.

Doing some research on the possible diva that Vince may have made sexual advances Too Ashley Massaro's name has come up from a podcast PAUL LONDON did with some disturbing events. Another possible person is Rosa Mendes. Another is ALICIA FOX which I'm going by some stuff I've heard off record I won't get into unless she herself ever publicly addresses it. I'll just say she would've been an easy target given Vince knowing her history and childhood. The other is Shelly Martinez. WWE didn't have any female interviewers besides Maria Kanellis during this time and Maria being as outspoken on WWE as she has been over the past few yrs would've said something already.

Talking to a few sources the info that they believe the media people have could be very very damaging to not only Vince but WWE in general. One source who I talked to over the weekend said Paul London is right in his interview that there was a lot of people who worked there that knew Vince's behavior and did nothing. Another source said there is currently WWE employees who knew about the incidents at the time they happened and those people are hoping they aren't mentioned in reports as they will very likely get terminated by WWE at this point.

Despite some of the good that could come out of it with Changes many talents said it shouldn't have taken a huge scandal for a WWE shake up and it should've happened a decade ago. There are some in the company who still feel CM Punk's pipe bombs and promos during his time were spoken with a lot more truth then some in the company wanted to admit during that time as well as thats when WWE should've shaken it up and gotten ahead of the curve. NXT was a good step to the future however Vince ruined it like everything else he's touched in he last few yrs.

Either way with the possible good, with a lot of negative stuff coming out WWE will be in damage control for a good bit. Hunter's meeting with talent and staff said he wanted work to be fun again and he had an open door unlike Vince and for everyone to come to him when they need anything. Mentioned a lot of team players, helping one another out and having one another's back during this stressful time for everyone in the company. There are many Vince employees fearful of being let go as they aren't on good terms with Either Hunter, Steph, Nick Khan or Heymany. Kevin Dunn is one person not on good terms with The McMahon's in charge now. Many sources and outlets are saying Dunn's days in WWE are numbered. He may not leave right away but they fully expect by this time next year he's gone. Don't think a major change will happen just yet unless Dunn's mentioned in any reports.

This is a pretty big serious situation. I think a lot of wrestling fans who understand and know the business knew this was how Vince's time in the industry would end. Many were shocked during the #MeTOO movement that Vince's name didn't pop up numerious times

Philadelphia and Lincoln Financial Field will host Wrestlemania 4O in '24 15 Yrs after it's last Mania

25 yrs since the the last Wrestlemania that saw a H*LL IN A CELL Match between Ministry Undertaker and Big Boss Man who was "Hung" on top of the Cage by The Brood after Taker Won. 24 is also significant in Philly as it's the Late Kobe Bryant's number during his playing career. Kobe grew up and went to school about 15 Mins from me and former Coach Andy Reid his kids went to the same HS as Kobe.

As of right now I'd probably only go to the HOF and Maybe RAW given how Rowdy it can be. A lot in WWE can change especially right now from now till then.

Philly has been on the shortlist of places last few yrs and a lot of people including wrestling fans in the area have wondered with NYC and LA getting so many Mania's Summerslam's Etc when we'd be on the last. Last Major Event was the Royal Rumble when they were having the Mix Match challenge. WWE announce through the Philly Inquire and Paul E Heyman inJune Philly was getting Extreme Rules in OCT of this year.

Also if anyone here wants to come for the even I'm willing to meet up and show you some cool places that aren't tourist traps. Show you were to get an actual good cheesesteak too

AEW Trio's titles are announced. Finals at All Out in CHICAGO to crown the inaugural Champs

What's the appeal or need of a title for a team of three when there already is a tag team title?  I've seen some of the old NWA matches for 3 man tag titles and just seems like a redundant title.  Is it just to keep guys happy so they can be title holders?

Isn't the co-ed nature of trios the point? Someone is going to lean into intergender matches and realize they are super fun...trios is a great gateway.

It's pretty common in Mexico to have 6 man tags so they created Trio belts. Since more and more has been shown and can get your hands on matches Trio's titles have become pretty popular. NJPW has their own, ROH has their own Lucha Underground had their own as well. It's also a good way if you have stables/teams with more then 2 members and show more dominance for the stable. There's been a few interesting storylines in NJPW and ROH since the titles have been around that were sometimes better then some of the other titles.

Plus, it gets more people TV time.  Since there's some grumbling in AEW about the lack of screen time, between this and ROH it should help.

A lot of what I've read and heard from podcasts say that Dunn might actually be in more trouble than Vince. Insider trading is no joke and they like to make examples of those who get caught.
If they can take down Martha Stewart, they can get anyone for it.  And it turned her into a hardened criminal who hangs out with addicts and murders now.

I had to rewind it, but JR with another "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town" reference with the "she painted up her lips, and rolled and curled her tinted hair" line.
