TO be fair the women in stardom are way better. WWE fans overrated Sasha and the other 3 girls from NXT because outside of Paige and Mickie James and Maybe Candice Michele those were the best women since Lita and Trish days. I think Becky and Bayley are the best out of them all. I always thought Sasha and Charlotte were overrated and the women in Stardom are gonna run the ropes on her. Sasha is dangerous and its only and matter of time before she injures someone there.

WOR/VoW: Sasha Banks has a per-appearance deal with NJPW at the highest price that Bushiroad has ever paid anyone, and they said it was more than Chris Jericho.
Jericho made $100,000 a shot when he was working for New Japan.

Asuka AKA Kana's Joshi Pro gimmick

Asuka came out without facepaint or her signature facial expressions....
Asuka has been teasing a return to her clownface brutal gimmick on Twitter. This may be the beginning of a change on TV.

Regal basically called the training stuff and all in AEW ******** on his socials. Basically gave a Black response unless you hear it from me it's probably not true.

SO sounds like Pot wasn't the issue

Matt Riddle was written off TV because "he has failed another drug test and will be sent to rehab."
Sources have told BodySlam.Net that the reason for pushing back his Summerslam match with Seth Rollins was because Matt Riddle failed a drug test leading up to SummerSlam, this was also the last test under Vince McMahon’s regime. With Vince no longer in charge, a “new creative direction” was taken regarding Riddle, and his big match against Rollins was postponed until Clash at the Castle.
Bodyslam reports the company informed Riddle at the time that another failed drug test would result in a “rehab or fired” situation similar to what happened with Jeff Hardy previously.
Bodyslam can confirm that the reason that WWE wrote Riddle of TV for 6 weeks is because he has failed another drug test and will be sent to rehab. The belief going around is that he has already entered treatment, or will be going in soon as most programs run for 30 days and he would need to be finished in time for his return in six weeks.
It should be noted that WWE no longer tests for marijuana.

"AEW remains a viable option for top NJPW star Kota Ibushi, who is expected to become a free agent when his New Japan contract expires in Q1 2023.
This is per The Flagship Wrestling Podcast. Joe Lanza reports that there hasn't been any indication that AEW would hesitate to sign Ibushi for concerns that it could damage the company's relationship with NJPW. That partnership is believed to be "as strong as ever" at the moment.
Ibushi, who has not wrestled since October 2021, has spent much of 2022 in dispute with NJPW. Although still bound to the company contractually, Kota has publically criticised New Japan on a number of occasions throughout the year, alleging managerial mistreatment.
A serious shoulder injury suffered while facing Kazuchika Okada in his latest match had kept Ibushi sidelined for an extended period prior to Kota going public with his concerns. The Flagship's report states that he has been healthy enough to compete for several months now.
As far as other potential landing spots for the 'Golden Star' go, CyberFight, the parent company of DDT and Pro Wrestling NOAH, has tabled a "big money" offer, the value of which "far exceeds" Ibushi's current NJPW terms. This would be primarily to work NOAH, though CyberFight would hope Ibushi might work major DDT events as well. Kota has a lengthy history with DDT, competing there primarily between 2004 and 2009."

A month ago, a vague report surfaced online suggesting that WWE was bringing back the King of the Ring in a traditional one-night tournament, while also debuting a similar women's tournament which would be called Queen of the Ring. As of this week, it appears that rumor is about to become a reality.
On Defember 11, WWE filed for a brand new trademark, “WWE King and Queen of the Ring" as a phrase
The combined King/Queen term is in addition to an earlier trademark of "Queen of the Ring" that WWE filed in October so it's clear the company is going to be moving forward with plans to hold this tournament

“I just had surgery. It was about 6 or 7 weeks ago now.
Basically just a clean-out on my very old knees. I've seen guys that went through the physical therapy process with flying colors, and did what they were supposed to do, and worked through the pain versus those who did not. Those who did not, they don’t recover. The game never really comes back to them.
Then there are other times where you're hurt almost to that point, but you can still go on. I've dealt with all of that stuff before. This was different. It was time.”
- Sting (via The “K&C Masterpiece” Radio Show)

I always thought Sasha and Charlotte were overrated
For real? I always thought Charlotte's in ring was very strong
Charlotte is great. And Sasha is great.

Can't remember if this group is pro or anti Uncle Meltzer, but if you look at his overall rankings, Charlotte has a 4.75 and 4.5 match, and 15 matches at a 4.00 or higher. Sasha has a 4.5 match and 16 matches at a 4.0 or higher. No doubt they would all be 5+ stars in the Toyko Dome. #jokeifyouknowyouknow

Mandy Rose released from the WWE today. Let's face it, they weren't mad about the content on her Only Fans, they were mad about not being about to make money off of it.
It is kind of a stunner nonetheless. Going from champion to unemployed in less than 24 hours. It makes sense then why her match against Roxi was moved up from January 10th to last night.

BREAKING: It's official. ROH TV has a home.
Ring of Honor weekly TV will live on a new version of the ROH streaming service, Honor Club.
The service will be 9.99 a month. Tony Khan expects there to be major involvement from NJPW as well.
ROH PPVs will remain on PPV/Bleacher Report/Fite TV. They will air on Honor Club after a 90 Day delay
More details to come after Wrestle Kingdom.
Woof. No TV deal. Trying to monetize a currently dead brand w/o access to their PPV.

Won't even attract the AEW nerds that'll have no desire paying for this when they get Dark/Elevation for free.

Egg on Money Marks face.

Bryan Alvarez on WOL predicts that Tanahashi, Naito and other missing New Japan stars on the Wrestle Kingdom card will be on the January 4 Dynamite show in Seattle.

From what I heard WWE had contracts signed about not showing certain content on their fan driven sites the personal. Mandy was told to tone it down several months ago. No word if the leaked photos were Recent or old photos but from several people I heard from it sounds like she lied to WWE. Also she said recently she was going to probably leave soon to start a family with her fiancee Tito Sabatelli so it wasn't like she was staying much longer anyway.

Anyone comparing this to Paige is an idiot. Paige had her photos leaked without consent I believe Brad Maddox wife outed them all. Brad was punished and he cheated on his wife while Paige was viewed as a young innocent victim caught up in the moment. Mandy exclusively Put content out there. She was warned to tone down what was put on there so she and didn't listen.

I'll be using it I was watching more ROH the last few yrs over WWE anyway as well NJPW. Plus they have an incredible library. There's quite a few stuff from the beginning I haven't seen in full yet. Plus AEW ROH PPV have been a lot of fun so far.

Sounds like just from people I talked to theres more to this. She was apparently warned about this several months back. She was also one of Vince's talents not Hunter so she had her days numbered it seems

"The feeling was that she (Mandy Rose) way way way crossed the line and they believed they (WWE) had absolutely no choice but to get rid of her,"
- Dave Meltzer via WOR

Acion Andretti is another Local guy same area as Adam Cole.

WOR: Chris Jericho was actually watching the Action Andretti match w/QT Marshall on Dark tapings in October, and he decided at that very moment Andretti's gonna be a star so he decided to make him a star.
This was not something decided like yesterday, it was planned weeks ago.

Ring of Honor will likely tape their brand new television show from Universal Studios in Florida.
The Universal Studios soundstage is currently used to tape selected episodes of AEW Dark.

A large number of people turned down doing interviews for the recent Vince McMahon Documentary.
People asked but didn’t participate included Chris Jericho, Jim Cornette, Eric Bischoff, Bryan Danielson, C.M Punk, Mick Foley, Jim Ross, Ted Mann of Wall Street Journal + more

Ok so because the only videos I saw had no sound I had no clue but she was apparently comparing and grading guys dicks. Also heard the Mattel toy deal may have put pressure on WWE here.

Regarding Trinity Fatu/Naomi, sources have said that she has to make a decision.
Originally she wanted to come back to WWE with Sasha Banks as a tag team and was told her decision would be to sit at home, to go elsewhere, or to return without Banks.

I don't know if anyone caught this last night on SD, but during the IC title match, Cole referred to Ricochet as "quick as a puma". Whether that was a nod to his time in Lucha Underground as Prince Puma or a throwaway line, I really hope it was the former.

Probably former. Hunter is allowing more leeway on stuff. Vince would've never had that line put in. Vince wanted everyone to act like WWE was the only Wrestling Universe to exist.

According to wrestlingnews.co, WWE Hall of Famer Edge will be returning at the 2023 Royal Rumble to face Judgment Day’s Finn Balor in a Hell in a Cell match.

In case you were wondering, Mandy Rose is doing fine financially.

While the firing was controversial in the eyes of many, it's also done wonders for Rose's business on the platform ... with her agent, Malki Kawa, telling us the 32-year-old has earned a whopping $500,000 from her FanTime page since she got the ax.
Even if this even half BS, you'll probably never see her in a ring again.

From the NY Post:
Rose’s FanTime page costs $40 a month. Before her release, images on her page that showed her in the shower with her fiancé, Tino Sabbatelli, and were deemed somewhere between R- and X-rated surfaced on the internet.

Can't remember which podcast, but they made a good point: there were a lot of casual wrestling fans that didn't know she had a Fan Site until this news broke. Pretty good guess that she will see a huge uptick in subs for the next couple of months. Plenty to take care of her for a while.

Also, this would be a great way to work the marks if she shows up at the Royal Rumble. Let's say WWE asks her to tame things on her site due to their relationship with Mattel and let's say that she agreed, but they both play the "she was fired due to non-compliance" only to have her show up at the Rumble.

You can make anything an angle if you want.

She already made comments a month or so ago she was looking to take a break and start a family. Wouldn't be surprised if she did this intentionally to get out of her contract to do so.

I've seen some bad Young Bucks matches. But that was the most embarrassing, insulting match I can recall. I'd say I can't believe they got a This is awesome chant, but I wasn't surprised.

I’m not a fan of this best of 7 series. Every series always goes the limit, the faces always get way behind and then catch up to win. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
