Dom is red hot right now. All the Bloodline stuff is awesome with storytelling. Huge crowd that could only topped by the size of Cena's bald spot.

Think I read in here in the last few days that there's long term storytelling in the works coming off of Mania. I hope so. If Bloodline is completely pivoted off of (which, let's face it, those guys deserve a long break if they want it), going to be a true challenge to make it THIS compelling.
Really looking forward to HIAC and the title match tomorrow.

Logan Paul with a 4-starbanger.
My son despises him, but he's a friggin natural in the ring. He even gets the psychology, which is more than you can say for about 90% of wrestlers these days.
Logan is a D bag thats why. There's also reports that he has teens in some house him and his brother own working for them and there's been accusations of them grooming them.

I posted it was for Silo. Not sure what they are gonna do with the rest. Roman is also going on a hiatus for awhile that was planned so if he loses at Mania there might be an angle after that match or on RAW to write him off tv if Cody Wins both belts.

Didn't watch mania and didn't know Takeover was on earlier today. I worked late and had other things to do. Honestly tomorrow getting home at 4 I might just watch Takeover and go from there. Still haven't seen all of ROH PPV either. Probably just too much to watch at this point not much time. I might just skip to the matches I like and be done with It at this point honestly.

Saturday was outstanding. Rhipley-Flair was the best womens match I've ever seen. KO-Zayne/USOs was absolutely fantastic as well

Is it? I don't know, being given the tag belts and not the world title doesn't feel storybook to me. It feels like a consolation prize.

I will warn you that if you're looking for a crisp production, this is not it. Just two guys chatting.
A couple of stand-up comedians out in LA. They don't do blow-by-blow recaps of anything current, just 90 minutes each week of what they have seen and what they like. They started using the last 30 minutes of their show to revisit the old territory days. I am an obvious subscriber of their mantra, "Watch what you like and STFU about the rest."
They start the World Class homework somewhere in the middle of the pandemic.

Also, if you go back far enough, the original premise is that the two, Matt and Vince, have another co-host, Tom, that started watching wrestling the same time as the podcast launched. It's pretty entertaining in the early episodes listening to Matt and Vince try to teach Tom the ways.
Tom lasted a few years and said, "No more for me, thanks."
I actually think the show only got better from there.

In the vacuum that is WrestleMania weekend, I think yes. When you pull the scope of the story out further, I can definitely see where you're coming from.

I was in this thread in January already bemoaning Cody winning the Rumble instead of Sami. My opinion really changed with how yesterday transpired and now I'm just happy that two French Canadians felt like hometown heroes in LA. The Super Dragon and PWG logos on KO's gear solidified how awesome of a moment this must be for those two.

Just finished watching night 1. Here are my thoughts:
1. Cena/Theory.
I really liked it. Cena made Theory in that match.
2. 4 way Tag match
I know a lot of people liked it (my daughter liked this match and the Rollins match best) but I thought it was ok. Pretty much a spot fest.
3. Rollins/Paul
I wish Logan Paul was wrestling full time. Dude is as natural and could be great. Loved the match despite the stupid bottle dude at ringside.
4. 6 woman match
Eh, it was what it was. Would have loved to have seen just Becky and Bayley as I think they're good together.
5. Mysterios match
Dom found his calling as a chicken heel. Match was fun despite the stupid crap going on outside the ring. The ring entrances were great.
6. Flair/Ripley
Best match of the night. They tore it down.
7. Tag match
I think this match is being a bit over rated, but it was a fine match none the less. I really hate the kicking out of finishers trope. When you kick out of a finisher, it should mean something. Now it seems like it happens every other match.
All in all, great night 1. Night 2 has a lot to live up to.

This was typical WWE. Feel good moment but was a consolation prize because Cody is taking the belts off Roman. I'm not sure why the E marks think Cody is a hug loss for AEW. Since day 1 when Cody left the company he said his goal was to get back to WWE and win the WWE Heavyweight title his dad never got to win and hold. AEW for Cody was a stepping stone for him on his way back to WWE just like everywhere else. Cody is also a business man as well and saw a good opportunity to make a new wrestling company and make a **** ton of money. Then when he leaves Said company get a ****load of money from WWE. Cody isn't resigning with WWE unless he was promised a huge Main Event push and top prize.
The negative to this is WWE's best storyline in Bloodline with Sammy/KO involved they both now get the consolation prize of the WWE tag titles instead of one of them getting the big belts instead. Anyone who doesn't see that is naive or doesn't understand why Cody resigned with WWE. His ultimate goal when released was to get back there similar to Drew Galloway AKA McIntyre did.
Solo From reports is getting a huge push after mania. After Roman loses the belts sources all over are coming out and saying Roman is taking an extended hiatus so I could see him off most of the summer till SummerSlam or even up till Survivor series but I think SummerSlam is a good point of contact here. He loses tonight to Cody and either end of match or tomorrow on RAW Solo and maybe the USOS turn on Roman, attack him and write him off TV till he returns months later. Then he's trying to get revenge on Solo and or the USOs. I think Roman is having too much fun as a heel though so his comeback would have to be pretty heelish too.

The new ROH Tag team Side Plates show two emblems resembling the Briscoe Brothers in tribute to Jay. Very touching for ROH to do that. Incredible way to honor Jay too

Vince was never giving up total control but I wish he was. If I was buying WWE I'd make it clear I wouldn't want Vince anywhere near the company with the legal issues right now he has. But it sounds like Endeavor wish for Hunter to keep control of storylines and everything.
BREAKING: Per CNBC, WWE is in advanced talks to be sold to Ari Emanuel’s Endeavor Group, the parent of Ultimate Fighting Championship. The deal would combine UFC/WWE into one publicly traded company.
A deal could be announced as soon as Monday
Vince McMahon will be executive chairman, while Endeavor President Mark Shapiro will work in the same role at the new combat sports/entertainment company.
