PWInsider.com reports tonight's Monday Night Raw episode will have a lot of "Vince McMahon fingerprints" on the show, much like this past Friday's Smackdown did.

While McMahon has been remotely influencing WWE programming since Wrestlemania 39, the belief among some in WWE is that influence is likely to grow in the coming weeks and months as the Endeavor acquisition becomes a reality.

What is the link?

Asking one last time, if you post stuff you say other sites are reporting, post the link.

I posted the link did you not see the .com in front of it? Not being difficult here just don’t see where the problem here as I love seen other threads quote tweets and a link not provided. Some new rule here or is someone literally reporting me for spam because they think it’s funny and had a disagreement with me?

I’m not trying to be a jerk or anything but serious question at this point.

PWInsider.com is not a link. When we say don't quote an article without a link, we mean the actual link to the article.

Sting ended up losing a tooth from last night's botch when he did not get enough air on his leap and ended up landing short of Sammy and going through the tables. At 64 he has a hall of fame career leave the high flying stuff to the young ones.
You know, I wasn't sure if I was going to say anything because I think it's pretty clear what I think about the majority of the AEW product. But, **** it. Agreed, that was a bump Sting really had no business taking, but it's the nature of the AEW product, most of these guys figure they need to take these bumps whether they want to or not, in order to get over. Along with this unneeded bump by Sting, the other part that I really wanted to give my unsolicited two cents on is the referee assistance.

It's ****ing ridiculous. It just screams at you that all this is fake and cooperative. If you can't perform the bump safely without ref assistance, (I guess aside from some significant outlier) then you shouldn't be doing it in the first place. I'm seeing this more and more now, and the excuse that they just want to keep the performers safe is absolute ********. You don't HAVE to do that bump. Find another way. /rant.

Totally agree with your analysis. Also I do not think the interference was needed by Callis in the Omega/Ospreay match and the use of the screwdriver. Those two can execute some great bumps because of the chemistry they have which I am all for. Then you can do a complete 180 and have a great technical match in Danielson and Okada with very few bumps. I agree AEW has these athletes cutting and doing some crazy spots where it is not necessary.

Thanks for confirming this for me.

I don't understand the boner Mox and company have for the screwdriver spots. And more than that, all these spots, they do routinely. It's not like any of it is shocking anymore. It's just another Wednesday/Friday/Saturday night in AEW. More than anything, I think that's one of the bigger mistakes they keep making - taking spots that were pretty rare and got huge crowd pops, and making them ordinary. Where do you go from there then?

Anyhoo...

Might have been under the influence last night, or just in a good mood, or whatever, but shot the lock off my digital wallet and gave Apple more of my money, and bought all four seasons of Lucha Underground. I watched most of season one back when it ran, but looking forward to watching the whole thing. A ton of guys and gals killing it now played a part in the show.

Lucha Underground Roster
You’re going to see some familiar faces, and ones you never knew worked there. Jeff Cobb was Matanza Cuerto.

It used to be that the wrestlers checked on each other with the generally unseen hand squeeze. To me, that’s what should be happening. However, it looks like the refs are ready to administer first aid. Dial it back, my dudes.

Yeah I know what you mean. To me, the refs checking on them is not as bad. I can kayfabe it that the ref is checking to see if the wrestler can continue the match. What I can't stand is seeing refs holding ladders for high spots.

May as well have went with Paul for the clicks and media if you weren't going with LA Knight

Killed the whole momentum of the PPV -- which is a lackluster card to begin with -- going with Priest who isn't over at all & won't be with a briefcase. It was as silent as it'd been all night so far when Priest won 🤣 enough said

Cole says Gunther trails on HTM and Randy Savage for longest IC title reigns. Don Muraco and Pedro Morales at numbers 4 and 2 respectively would like a word.

NGL, I was left thinking that Cody should have got that first pin on Roman. I was sports entertained overall though.

No idea how you explain turning on your tag partner mid match to cost yourself the belt
The beginning of that show had Vince's nonsensical prints all over it.

Between Priest with zero buzz winning (and lost a world title match to Seth -- that he again didn't deserve -- just recently) and Ronda/Bazler doing odd turn in a random title match after just winning and unifying the tag titles. You just completely devalued the unified tag titles in the process.

I shut off the show after the opener. Wasn't real excited about the card to begin with personally. That the "heel turn" occurred after the opener result wasn't surprised because it's apparent Vince is back with significant say

Rock Hard Juice Robinson is low key my favorite wrestler in AEW. Not the best, but my fav :lmao:
I skip thru some of the shows but I ALWAYS stop when he shows up. He just different then anyone else there.

I'm sure I'll watch it at some point as all the Bloodline stuffs been awesome

I didn't want to sit through the other obvious result/no interest matches between

It was a 2 interest match PPV for me (LA Knight & Bloodline). Just happened they were first and last matches with fodder IMO in between

Just watched the Ronda turn 🤣 It came off even worse than it read.

Got to think Rondas either leaving for awhile or they have nothing at all better. Both her and Bazler are completely irrelevant at this point. Got to believe Rondas leaving .....else she's about to flop as a face again.

The Bloodline stuff tonight was good per usual.

They are suppose to be a big time heel group predicated on sheer violence. The screw driver is the way to show violent they can be. Personally I love it and I have several HS buddies who had stopped watching wrestling do to WWE PG bS that watch AEW routinely. If half of en didn’t have kids SBs other commitments we’d be doing our old Get together and watch every show party we use to have. Thinking of doing a get together for ALLIN since it earlier in the day

WWE has done the bolder for yrs. A lot of people it didn’t become a problem till they saw another company doing it. It’s to help with safety now. Could AEW do a better job hiding it on a broadcast? Sure but when this first came up one of the wrestling websites compared it to all the times you saw refs in WWE holding the ladder. I didn’t see MITB yesterday do to work but I’m sure we saw a ton of that in those matches

I’ve loved Preist since his punishment Martinez days in ROH. He was also on the first all in PPV btw and got a pretty big pop

Reports today indicate Rousey may go back to UFC after the Endeavor merger for one more fight.

I actually liked the PPV. Probably would have had Balor win though. I'm over this Rollins character but get he's mega over, don't think he needs the belt. As for Shayna turning, I'm fine with it the friends probably want to work against each other for summer slam and then Ronda takes her break.

I do wish Cody was the one to pin Roman, but this sets up Jey vs Roman at Summer Slam.

I'm glad they didn't just give LA Knight the briefcase because twitter wants it that way, have him to start compete for a secondary title before they blast the rocket on him.

Jey isn't beating Roman at SS so the options are Cody or Gunther.

I heard she’s leaving WWE I don’t know if it’s for good but she gave them a hard date in leaving which is why they split her and Shayba as they want to do a 1v1 before she leaves

I talked to someone with some Good WWE sources in terms of stuff going on. Vince is clearly back and morale backstage is pretty low. Vince is screwing everything up with rewrites and all.

Corbin reintroduced the Lone Wolf character which I loved in NXT but this seems like a last ditched effort before Vince releases him. He was never a big Corbin fan and he’s really don’t everything to undermine the guy which is a shame

Rousey is leaving WWE like others have reported but no one knows if she’ll be coming back or not.

Drew McIntyre HAS NOT SIGNED A NEW CONTRACT!!! It sounds like Gunther might have the strap taken off of him after he beats the IC record. Give it to Drew for one last hurrah and then he loses it if he doesn’t resign and leave at another PPV. Got a feeling either Gunther or McIntyre win a POV match with the belt and Priest cashes in on the Winner

Hunter wanted Balor to win Vs Seth but it seems they are setting things up for Balor to leave judgement day

Asked about NXTEUROPE and there doesn’t seem to be anything new out of that. Feeling i got us it might be scrapped with Vince now back

WWE Endeavor aren’t happy how well AEW has sold in the UK. Over 75k sold and AEW is looking up to open up another 5k-10k in seats now for the event

Watched the PPV Sunday night and it was bad as some had told me. I did a lot of fast forwarding and skipping stuff. Really happy for Priest and Sky though really deserving.

I just feel bad for those who paid to see this PPV and had to choose either this or ALLIN

Breaking Giulia is the new NJPW Wonens Strong Champion. Look for her to be in AEW with the title at some point. If you don’t know who she is, she’s one of the top 5 women’s wrestlers today and is part of Stardoms roster

Yeah I got the sense WWE wasn't happy about it when they rolled out Cena to hype a London WM, that was pretty transparent :lmao:

Eddie Kingston is the new NJPW Strong Openweight Champion, defeating Bullet Club mainstay KENTA.

Also, STARDOM’s Giulia is the new NJPW Strong Women’s Champion, defeating Willow Nightingale. At this morning PPV event
