This is so beneath Nick he should be wrestling somewhere. Would’ve loved him in NJPW if Osprey left UE Nick could take over

Former NWA World Champion Nick Aldis will make his official WWE TV debut tonight, PWInsider reports.

Aldis will be portraying an authority figure for the Smackdown brand going forward, which means he's likely signed with the company.

Hunter’s WWE is just as bad creative. Wtf breaking up KO and Sami?

Triple H has promoted Adam Pearce to the General Manager of Monday Night RAW and introduces Nick Aldis as the new General Manager of Friday Night Smackdown.

Nick Aldis announces that for Jey Uso being traded to RAW that the newest memeber of Smackdown is KEVIN OWENS.

Dude is a literal clown for this

Independent wrestler Kreepy the Clown, whose real name is Michael R. Keihn, Sr., is in jail after assaulting an autistic fan following an Indiana Powerhouse Wrestling event.

Kreepy was arrested on Tuesday after a show in Muncie, Indiana. According to court documents, Keihn allegedly assaulted a 34-year-old autistic fan attending the event.

A representative from IPW confirmed that Keihn admitted involvement in the altercation and claimed the fan had provoked him. Keihn has been terminated from the company.

The victim sustained injuries, including a broken nose and numerous facial cuts.

Keihn now faces a battery charge, with a potential prison sentence of one to six years if convicted

The NWA has signed two TV deals with the CW network

Haus of Wrestling reports Billy Corgan's NWA will air two series on the CW Network. NWA Powerr and a reality series showcasing behind the scenes of the NWA.

Some logistics are being worked out, but an official announcement should be coming “relatively soon.”

Good for them. Hope they change their product back to something people will watch. Their current NWA Powerrr product is unwatchable IMO with their video game like entrances and no crowd/not showing crowd and using canned crowd responses

COVID destroyed them as their product before it hit was my favorite in wrestling.

Adam Copeland on helping younger talent in AEW:

“I’m here to be a mentor. If people want that. I don’t want to be one of those guys who walks around and says ‘I watched your match and if you did this and that’ I don’t want to be that guy, but if people ask me, I'm always here.”

Always here. If you want to work on your promos, send 'em to me, and we can dive into them. I love seeing a lightbulb go off for young talent. The growth of young talents, to me is, exciting."

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated’s Fan Nation, Claudio Castagnoli shared his love for professional wrestling, he also revealed that he loves coffee as well.

“I started drinking coffee when I was 27. Coffee brings people together. That’s why I love going to coffee shops. And I look forward to a cup of coffee before my matches. It kind of calms me down, puts everything in position, and puts me in the moment.”

.

The Swiss Superman also mentioned that Moxley and Danielson love coffee too. But Yuta doesn’t and claims that he’s not at that age yet.

“Mox drinks coffee. He is a straight filter coffee and espresso guy. Bryan is a cold brew guy. That’s the only kind of coffee he’ll drink. We all have our own preferences, but we’re all coffee guys, with the exception of Yuta. When you turn 27, that’s the magic age. That’s when you start drinking coffee. So right now, Yuta is too young. Yuta is almost there. Once he is ready, we’ll be happy to teach him.”

Castagnoli concluded by saying that coffee and wrestling are the same.

Chris Jericho on TK’s controversial anti-WWE tweets:

"I learned years ago that bosses are going to be bosses, and billionaires are going to be billionaires. I've been working for billionaires for 25 year.”

“At this point, you can't control Tony Khan. He's going to do what he wants to do and God bless him.”

“He created this company. He runs this company. He also grew up in the social media era. I'm not going to tell him, 'Take your phone away,' because he's my boss.”

“I think it'd be worse if I said that stuff because I'm not the boss, you know? Tony Khan owns AEW. He can do what he wants. I'm not going to tell him no."

Chris Jericho on the Tuesday Night War (via The Messenger)

"You know, you can only bring in Cena and Undertaker and Cody and everybody else so much because nobody wants to work on their secondary show all the time. And it was a fun little, 'Hey, FU AEW.' I didn’t even really worry about it.

So, don't get too far up your own butt because you didn't do that good of a job as far as crushing us. And our show was better than theirs, quite frankly. So, it doesn't bother me. It's competition, man. It's good for the fans, it's good for the companies."

Mox and Death Machine reunited?

Bodyslam has confirmed with multiple sources that Callihan is backstage at tonight’s AEW Collision in Memphis, Tennessee.

While asking around about the purpose of Callihan’s visit, it was said that Callihan is there to discuss both a deal to work as an on-screen talent and backstage with the promotion.

Just sad. God bless Paul Wight trying to put that over.
Back in the 90s when WWE was struggling they use to advertise buy 1 get 1 one free tickets here in Philly. They’d have the local radio stations involved too giving tickets away for free if you won like a quiz or was X # of caller. WWE tries very hard not to mention that point I. Time or their existence.

It was so bad that’s why people started tuning into WCW Nitro on Monday nights. Had WCW been run better we probably are t talking about WWE today. Who knows if TNA or even AEW would’ve existed

TNA WRESTLING RETURNS!!! JANUARY 13TH, 2024!

IMPACT WRESTLING NO LONGER!!!

PWInsider reports there are zero plans to return to the old six-sided ring.

It was never an option as just about every talent still with the company who ever worked in the six-sided ring found the traditional four-sided ring to be easier on their bodies.

There will be new TNA Championship belts rolled out with the current titleholders using those belts instead.

The new belts have already been crafted and produced, but they aren't likely to be used until January.

Ian Riccoboni who use to commentate reading Phillies games was at game 6 last night with Action Andretti and Wheeler aguta with former CZW talent Chuck Taylor. AEW is in Philly this Wednesday for Dynamite.

I hope she still doesn’t have that scumbag as a trainer. Dude was me too close his wrestling school and opened a new one in another town. Numerious fans went after them including MSK liking tweets who from fans. Do to the pull on the NXT crowd Izzy’s parents started to talk **** on MSK which is why the MSK crowd turned on them. From a source there were fans who weren’t part of the cult NxT fan base who viewed what was done wrong. When Zach got released for the Hitler thing MJF who is Jewish came to his defense. WWE also released him because of the fan backlash and team not getting over but what most in WWE ignored was Izzy’s parents were the reason MSK didn’t get over. Since the release we’ve found out most of the allegations on Wentz other then the costume of Hitler he wore for a stupid stunt were fabricated or false from ex wife Kimber Lee

Oh I know I just find it funny how people love to forget how in trouble WWE was at this time. They were literally begging people to come show up. My former coworker who did raw production in the northeast when they’d come they’d give him a whole bunch of free tix to give to family and friends. Anytime they got to a wrestlers hometown or someone else in the company they’d have them try and give out tickets to family and friends. They were so desperate

Numerious talents near the end of their WWE contracts were hoping they’d hear from management about contract offers in the near future after Endeavor merger. Many expect very lucrative offers, however many have yet to be contacted.

One talent specifically The Scottish Psycopath Drew McIntyre deal was suppose to end by January but he has a deal till April as WWE added time on do to time he missed.

And now we know why. We wish you well on your future endeavors X wrestlers

Endeavor stock holders are concerned they over-spent on the WWE/UFC deal as the stock hasn't performed the way they imagined it would.

They will begin looking at ways to cut costs and maximize the value they're getting out of the TKO deal. But they will not be looking to sell their stake in it.

Endeavor Group Holdings, Inc. parent of TKO said Wednesday it is launching the "the initiation of a formal review to evaluate strategic alternatives for the Company."

Endeavor said it "will not consider the sale or disposition" of its interest in TKO Group Holdings, Inc. Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel said,

“Given the continued dislocation between Endeavor’s public market value and the intrinsic value of Endeavor’s underlying assets, we believe an evaluation of strategic alternatives is a prudent approach to ensure we are maximizing value for our shareholders.”

No, he's not wrong. But he also likes to wrestle an ultra violent style, so he feels like they should be saving him from himself?

I mean wrestling should have a Union but it doesn’t and for yrs companies like WWE tried to hide the effects of head injuries like the nfl did. It took lawsuits against WWE to get better and the lawsuits are the only reason WWE does what it does now. Without then Bryan Danielson would’ve been back out there a month after his last one in WWE.

Yeah we can blame wrestlers but the industry has had very little safety measures for them for yrs.

PWInsider confirms that Bryan Danielson’s broken orbital bone injury is not storyline.

Bryan will undergo surgery as announced by AEW.

This Raj Giri Vs Joey Janella war on Twitter is entertaining. Not sue why raj even brought him up in the first place but raj mentione Joey’s ex girlfriend Penelope Ford. The last clown in cornette who mentioned her it didn’t end well for him. Raj seems to hit the bottle hard this weekend or something and coming in with a lot of spicy takes. Janela’s been taking him to task too.

Barring any last minute changes, The Creed Brothers are being brought to the main roster full-time.

BWE reports that it appears Ivy Nile has also been called up to be paired alongside the Creed Brothers on Raw.

Better Wrestling Experience reports that a face turn is being discussed for The Miz, and that he could work in some capacity with the newly reunited DIY tag team.

In an interview with Developmentally Speaking, Declan McMahon was asked to name which of Shane's and Stephanie's children is the most likely to get into WWE, and he named himself:

"Oh, probably me. I mean, the story, the story's already written, right? I mean, the rightful heir, the good-looking -- the one who looks like Vince, right? So, I think, just in the sense that you could play off the WrestleMania 20 [intro], right, like I posted on Twitter, right? You could play that off and just show that like, the new generation [of] McMahon has arrived. I think in that sense, I would.

We have such a great family, and we're all so supportive of each other. So I think, I think really, any of us could potentially want to do it. You know, I know Aurora, Paul's oldest daughter, Triple H's oldest daughter, she's always talked about wanting to do it, but in having my dad and my grandpa's ego, I think I'd be the best,"

No chatter about Khan bringing Ric Flair, the sexual predator, in as a "gift" to Sting? What a joke.
This really was a swerve that no one was asking for and is not needed. I want Sting to go out getting all the flowers, I don't need Natch stealing any of the limelight. Flair probably needed the paycheck and Sting did a solid and got him a couple of appearance fees.

To be fair, I watched all the youtubes and saw the wrestling tweets with Flair/Sting sentiments. It's real for us NWA/TBS/WCW old school marks, dammit!

That is fair. Huge gap in my watching history was all of the WCW stuff between them. 1990 until 2000 is pretty much a blank slate that I had to go back and watch things.
