For whatever reason WM41 was supposed to be announced at this years event. The video package to announce it and everything was done weeks before Mania. It was delayed for some reason till after Mania with talk being RAW after mania or within this month but we’re almost in May. Original it was possible Minneapolis MN would get it. Now speculation and rumors it’s not being there.

Very very strange for WWE to withhold this as they love to build hype for next mania right away. Very out of character of them. Something is going on. What I do tl

There's a possibility they are worried about an ongoing battle between the city and Uber/Lyft over driver pay. The rideshare companies are threatening to leave Minneapolis over it.

Seems like something that would figure itself out by then, though.

Tama Tonga, Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa were in Connecticut last week for WWE at the company HQ.

There had been rumblings in the company last week that Fatu would debut shortly, but those discussions soon quieted.

Sources close to the situation have confirmed to WrestlePurists that MJF has undergone surgery on his left shoulder.

MJF was originally aiming for a March return and met with Tony Khan in Boston to discuss creative plans.

The injuries to MJF and Adam Cole have dramatically affected creative plans for MJF vs Undisputed Kingdom feud. Max was looking to wrap the program up.

There is no timetable for his return.

10 years ago today, May 3, 2014, AJ Styles won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship from Kazuchika Okada at NJPW “Wrestling Dontaku”, 5 months after leaving TNA Wrestling after 12 years in the company.

Styles revealed in a 2018 interview that he didn’t want to cut ties with TNA, but the final contract they offered him was for more dates and almost a 60% cut in pay.

Styles would go on to win the title one more time before making the jump to WWE in January of 2016.

Triple H said at the post “Backlash” media scrum, that former star Drew Gulak was not released from WWE, his contract actually expired and was not renewed.

Some news/not news. For all future considerations for Wrestlemania's will be mainly based on from how much WWE can get from rights fees from whichever city wants Mania as well as whichever government bids the most for it.

So if you want your location to have a Mania, you better how your city pays up

The more things change the more they stay the same. WWE too worried and outside company guy they signed will be too good to what they want to push. Fatu is imho the best skilled talent in the Samoan Dynasty today.

According to WrestleVotes on twitter, WWE is worried about the possibility of Jacob Fatu outshining Solo Sikoa since WWE is trying to portray Sikoa as the "main force" of The Bloodline.
==========
I mean, unless they absolutely nerf Fatu, which they shouldn't, then there's no way Fatu doesn't outshine Sikoa.

WWE is known for watering down talent. For yrs they did this with Cena as their top guy more recently Reigns. They didn’t want better in ring talent or promo guys outshining who they wanted to push. WWE just wanted these other talents to say they have them and hope destroy wrestling elsewhere to be the only show in town.

They tried to water down Punk, Danielson but they outshined. Ricochet, Mox, mia Yim, Balor, Claudio, ReDragon, Kenta, Sami Callahan to name a few they watered down.

Sounds like things haven’t changed on this front of we want WWE people more over then people from other companies

So happy. I really fell in love with this team in NxTUK didn’t get WTF they were doing with them in NxT.

EXCLUSIVE: Grizzled Young Veterans feel they made the right decision by leaving WWE.

"We decided just before Stand & Deliver last year that we’ll tidy up the storyline at Stand & Deliver because at that point everything’s done. Then we would go and talk to the office and have conversations about us wanting to leave. We did the match and both myself and Zack were on the ramp looking back at the ring. At that point, myself anyway, I was genuinely ready to move on now… As a whole, WWE are doing great business and it’s a great place to be. It wasn’t a great place for us. We were being optimised to help the younger talent get ready because there was an influx of brand new wrestlers from 2.0 that really didn’t know anything about wrestling. We used to own a wrestling school so we could actually articulate things as well. It was a nice compliment that they could see that in us and they trusted us to get people essentially prepared for a main roster run. On the flip side, we were kind of locked in a situation where we couldn’t progress and we could see that. So we got to a point where we’re still grizzled, young, but we’re only young for so long and it was one of those times where it was now or never, essentially. If we don’t do this now, when is it happening?", said James Drake.

Zack Gibson added, "It was a big decision to make, it wasn’t something that was made overnight. There was no one big thing that made us do it. It was more of a combination of a lot of things that came together…The easiest way that we have found to describe it is in a nutshell, WWE’s stock is going up and up and up but our personal stock at the time was going down. Regardless of where their stock was going, obviously we are our own business. We looked at ourselves and noticed that our stock was going down so we did something about it. Now, six months out, our stock is going up again so we made the right decision."

Yeah we get it man WWE sucks. What a ****ty product these days :lmao:

Meanwhile I'm counting the hours to see those dastardly Young Bucks tonight! I mean, what do they have in store for poor TK??

During AEW Dynamite last night, Saraya called out a couple of men on camera for being creeps.

Later on at the same taping, one of the men would not stop harassing Skye Blue with inappropriate comments. As soon as the match was over, Skye Blue immediately left the stage area. Uncomfortable.

Aubrey Edwards called for security to get rid of the gentleman but he started to fight and fuss.

All this in front of his own child.

The two incidents were seperate but fans there said the lower bowl crowd was terrible last night. Saraya tried to get the camera guy to put the clown she dealt with on TV to expose him and embarass.

Honestly they should hire bully Ray for security at this point. He knows how to handle these turds disrespecting females

More on this the internet and IWC suck sometimes

Last night during the ROH tapings, some horrible waste of a dad was yelling vulgar stuff at Skye Blue during the ROH tapings. Guy had a kid with him apparently. He ended up getting kicked out after Blue's match. Then some random on twitter talked about how women in wrestling shouldn't show so much skin. So Chelsea Green clapped back at the person.

I have been watching the season five Dark Side of the Ring eps this week. Decent little show. I loved Earthquake fwiw. Carry on.

I’ve watched a few Sandman was personal as he lives like 5 mins from me and see him shop in my store constantly. Watched the Ohita, Gage, Pillman and North Korea show ones. About to watch Beniot tonight.

I just watched Backlash today, man that crowd was ELECTRIC! Cole and Corey did a good job of just being quiet a lot and letting the fans tell the story. The phenomenal song was, well, phenomenal. The crowd made that a better card than what it was.
AJ Styles was trying so hard not to crack a smile during that.

WWE as a company is now disputing the claims of Janel Grant against Vince McMahon. To summarize;

"WWE argues that Grant's claims against them should be resolved through arbitration rather than in court. Grant had previously agreed to settle disputes through arbitration when she signed a separation and non-disclosure agreement with WWE.

WWE's lawyers say Grant cannot bring her claims to court because of this agreement. They argue that the arbitration clause in the agreement covers any disputes related to it, including Grant's current claims. WWE also believes that the question of which parts of the dispute should be handled in arbitration should be decided by an arbitrator, not the court.

Grant is claiming that certain laws, like the Speak Out Act and the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protecting Act, make the non-disclosure agreement unenforceable. However, WWE argues that these laws do not apply to arbitration agreements, so the agreement should still be upheld."

This has me thinking a few people high up at WWE are looking for ways to keep this quiet.

Oh they are. Just from people I’ve talked to who either work there or have they wouldn’t be surprised if Hunter and Steph’s names pop up in this. It’s been also said Shane wanted nothing to do with WWE because of the mess his father made or he’d be in the company on the board and some other good stuff. They also said this might open up a whole bunch of other skeletons WWE especially Vince hid for yrs. This was only the tip of the iceberg.

Keiji Muto AKA The Great Muta is now the Scouting Advisor for Pro Wrestling NOAH #noah_ghc

Natalya's WWE deal is set to expire in the next couple of weeks.

Sean Ross Sapp: "Nattie is still set to be a free agent in a couple of weeks."

Team AEW had a promo after Dynamite went off the air. There was a "Darby" chant and Dax asked where were these people to keep the bus from hitting Darby. He then talked about Cash's legal issue, without going into any details, but just said "not guilty". A "He's not guilty" chant broke out and Dax wished those people were at the courthouse and says he never doubted Cash. He knows people are gonna go online and make fun of Dax for being a mark for pro wrestling, but he's fine with it because that's who he is.

He thanks the fans in Everet, WA. Bryan Danielson says it's great to be home. He says the fans are the reason he main evented Wrestlemania and brings up how the fans made his dad happy when they hijacked RAW during the Cena/Orton promo. Bryan says he's the fans Washington State Guy, but when he leaves, they'll have a new one in Darby Allin and calls him "the f****ng man".

Darby says it's been a crazy few months between the foot break and getting hit by a bus. He says he may not be 100%, but he's going to defend AEW and mentions getting hit by the beam under the ring and needs to probably go to the hospital. Dax puts over the fans and Bryan Danielson. Danielson sends the fans home with a "YES" chant.

May 20,2011 Macho man Randy Savage died in a car accident in FL after crashing his car with a heart attack involved. Macho was always one of my favorites wrestlers and I think was overshadowed at times from Hogan. Savage and Steamboats IC Mania match was one of the top 10 matches of all time. Rip Macho

Eddie also broke his leg in the no ropes last man standing match with Gabe Kidd after a suplex from the edge of the ring onto a table. Eddie hit the guard rail that was there which to me seemed honestly too too close to the ring.

PWInsider: Eddie Kingston has confirmed that he suffered tears to his ACL and meniscus. They will require surgery.

While Eddie had hoped to be back by All In: Wembley, his post-surgery recovery will likely mean he will be out closer to 9 months. If that timeline stands to be correct, Kingston would be out until January 2025.

Eddie commented, "This is part of the game. Injuries happen. I will be back."

This sucks. I love Akira and was hoping he’d win.

Due to a knee injury, Francesco Akira has been pulled from the rest of the Best of the Super Jrs tournament. This means that Hiromu Takahashi, DOUKI, Robbie Eagles, and SHO will get a bye and a free 2 points.

After Black’s match last night lights went out and Adam Copeland came on with fangs. He then proceeded to give Black a blood bath and said be careful what you wish for. Some Brood like music played before that. Wondering if we get Gangrel at DoN this weekend since he wanted him at WM39

Dwayne Johnson’s head writer

The Rock's head writer, Brian Gewirtz, felt that Cody Rhodes winning the Royal Rumble was "problematic."

"For the most part, it was overwhelmingly positive when [The Rock] teased Head of the Table. And at that point, we’re like, okay, that gives us our answer. We’re locked in... Which begs the question, which I know you’re gonna ask, which everyone would ask...if all of that is the plan at this point in mid-January or whatever it is, why for the love of all things holy do you have Cody Rhodes win the Royal Rumble?

"The idea of Cody winning the Rumble, I thought, was problematic, in full transparency. I said, even in San Diego in that meeting, I thought the cleanest thing to do, if we’re booking Rock and Roman, is to have [CM] Punk win the Rumble and challenge [Seth] Rollins, just because there is a difference, storyline-wise, in my opinion, of Cody wanting to finish the story, and having earned the right to finish the story by winning the Royal Rumble.

"Once you win the Royal Rumble, that dynamic changes...it goes from something that, yeah we all want things, but now he’s got it. And why would he do anything other than focus on Roman? And that’s what he naturally did when he pointed to him. Why wouldn’t he? That’s exactly what that character would do."
