Fightful Select reports that Kenny Omega underwent surgery last week in New York on May 16 to aid in the recovery from diverticulitis.

There are currently no creative plans for Omega in AEW at the time, and they're expecting a lengthy recovery.

Eddie Kingston told PWInsider he cannot get surgery on his ACL until his tibia heals, which will most likely not be until the end of July, then, it will be 10 months after that, until he can start physically rehabbing at all.

It’s looking like it might be towards next April or May before he’s 100% healthy and able to return to the ring.

Fightful reports MJF got a contract extension with AEW at some point following the controversial Double or Nothing 2022 situation, and he will remain under contract for quite some time.

MJF himself would not confirm that to much of anyone in the industry and many close to him.

MJF is among the highest earners in AEW as per the deal.

Fightful reports discussions have happened regarding MJF returning to AEW TV

There are several sources within AEW that believe that he could be coming back sooner than later, with most expecting him back in the fold by Forbidden Door in New York, if not sooner.

Fightful Select is reporting that:
MJF is nearing a return and that he has re-signed with AEW. They said that they cannot speak exactly when but they are expecting he should be back around Forbidden Door taking place on Long Island, NY.
*Some other notes about the report:
-- MJF & AEW have been in contact about a return for a while and about his presentation.
-- MJF was adamant about finishing his reign even with injuries.
-- Confirmed that he signed a lengthy extension at some point after Double or Nothing 2022 and that his going to be around for "quite a while" and that he is one of the highest-paid members of the roster.

Bleacher Report has revealed their Top 10 AEW wrestlers since the promotion launched in 2019.

#1 Jon Moxley
#2 Kenny Omega
#3 MJF
#4 The Young Bucks
#5 Bryan Danielson
#6 Chris Jericho

TKO has zero sense of reality. I talked about this when this merger happened and WWE fans were all excited.

TKO has announced that the Live Events Division of both WWE and UFC have merged to create one overarching team.

As both a long time Wrestling and MMA fan I think this is a terrible idea and shows that TKO doesn't understand the majority of MMA fans despise Wrestling. The overarching events will only turn the purists away.

MMA fans hate wrestling. They’re the ones calling it Gay, people who watch it F*gg***, etc. hell they nearly lost their **** because Lesnar was their world heavyweight champion and if he actually cared and didn’t have diverticulitis he’d probably still have been there. Contrary those who are getting sick and tired of WWE will see mma and go “oh this looks great I’ll watch this instead” loosing fans in the process

Triple H has announced that the winners of the King and Queen Tournament will recieve World title matches at WWE Summerslam. So back to way it use to be.

WWE has announced that Summerslam will be coming to Minneapolis in 2026 and it will be a 2 night event on August 1st & 2nd.

I would not be surprised if Royal Rumble also becomes a 2 night event eventually. Crazy that this was announced two years in advance. I guess this is WWE making up for Minneapolis not getting two nights of Wrestlemania.

Stakes! They have returned!

Despite breaking her wrist last weekend, WWE is still planning on having Giulia debut against Roxanne Perez at NXT “Heatwave” on July 7th in Toronto, Canada.

Perez has reportedly been working a lot stiffer at house shows in preparation for the upcoming match.

An update on Jim Ross, he was hospitalized yesterday and he suffered a case of the class A flu which elevated his heart enzymes and caused shortness of breath.

An update on Giulia and WWE. Fightful reports that it's expected that she will make her official WWE debut at NXT Heatwave with the possibility of her facing and beating Roxanne Perez for the NXT Womens Championship. To add, Giulia won't be exclusive to working with WWE/NXT and will also work a few Marigold shows.

Giulia is expected to become the new female face of NXT with others expecting her to surpass Asuka's NXT Womens Title reign. Roxanne Perez has supposedly been working stiffer at live events in order to prepare for her match against Giulia.
—————————————————————
Giulia should not be in NXT long enough to pass Asuka's 522 day title reign.

Danger is from my area and been following him on YouTube since he created his own caw in WWE games. Over the last year and a half he’s worked with Tyler breeze and Xavier woods at their wrestling school in Florida to become a pro wrestler

Chris Danger has announced his next match and it will be in MLW's Battle Riot VI on June 1st

15 years ago today, Mr. Kennedy dropped Randy Orton on his recently surgically repaired collarbone on a episode of Monday Night Raw in Los Angeles, CA.

Orton would go to WWE management following the event, and complain that Kennedy was unsafe. A few days later, Kennedy would be released from his WWE contract.

I honestly think this was the immature yrs of Orton. Todays Orton wouldn’t have done this

Fightful reports that Malakai Black’s AEW contract does not expire until the end of July and has a company option of one year, they will be picking up.

Fightful also states that AEW “added time” to his current deal, due to periods missed with injuries.

No joke: is Logan Paul the most gifted athlete we've ever seen in the ring?
Him and McAfee (and even the bunny guy) raised the bar so high with the celeb/sports types that it is unreachable for anyone of that ilk to try to break in & even compare to them.

Him and McAfee are exactly the type of performers that's been sorely lacking for decades. They just get it. In the ring, promoting themselves, and on the mic.

They've obviously put forth the work. No more of the joke celeb in ring appearances/performances that happened for way too long.

BREAKING: Fightful reports Becky Lynch's WWE Contract will expire this weekend.

Lynch will become a Free Agent on June 1st if she doesn't come to terms with WWE on a new deal this week.

BREAKING NEWS: Adam Copeland confirms he fractured his Tibia and will require surgery.

“I ended up fracturing my tibia, which is going to require surgery. I don’t know the timeframe on that yet.”

- Adam Copeland

When asked at the AEW “Double or Nothing” media scrum on Sunday night, NJPW President Hiroshi Tanahashi said a joint show between AEW and NJPW in Japan, is a “great possibility” sometime in the future.

Tony Khan made note that the show would not be labeled “Forbidden Door”, as he wants to keep that show exclusive to North America, at least for now.

Bodyslam reports Jake Hager’s contract with AEW has expired and he did not re-sign.

Arn Anderson confirmed on his podcast that his contract expires on May 31st and he will be leaving the company as well

The Wrestling Observer reports that WWE made Giulia get the surgery on her broken wrist, so, that she could heal faster and hopefully not miss her NXT debut.

Guilia is set to debut for WWE at NXT “Heatwave” on July 7th against NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, but is very adamant about doing the July 13th match against Sareee in the Marigold promotion and has reportedly been working on the match frivolously.

The word backstage at tonight's NXT was that Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace appearing tonight and at Battleground next Sunday will not be the only WWE and TNA collaboration in the days ahead.

The belief is that there will be some sort of NXT representation on future TNA events and programming as well.

WWE as a company is now disputing the claims of Janel Grant against Vince McMahon. To summarize;

"WWE argues that Grant's claims against them should be resolved through arbitration rather than in court. Grant had previously agreed to settle disputes through arbitration when she signed a separation and non-disclosure agreement with WWE.

WWE's lawyers say Grant cannot bring her claims to court because of this agreement. They argue that the arbitration clause in the agreement covers any disputes related to it, including Grant's current claims. WWE also believes that the question of which parts of the dispute should be handled in arbitration should be decided by an arbitrator, not the court.

Grant is claiming that certain laws, like the Speak Out Act and the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protecting Act, make the non-disclosure agreement unenforceable. However, WWE argues that these laws do not apply to arbitration agreements, so the agreement should still be upheld."
This has me thinking a few people high up at WWE are looking for ways to keep this quiet.
Well WWE just got a huge problem

Developing story:

THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE IS NOW CONDUCTING AN INVESTIGATION ON VINCE MCMAHON AND THE WWE.

Janel Grant's lawsuit against WWE and McMahon have been paused for the time being.

In other news today, Janel Grant's lawsuit against WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, has been delayed by request of the Department of Justice, who is conducting their own non-public federal investigation into the allegations of sex trafficking, assault, and abuse.

As of right now, Natalya still hasn't accepted a new contract from WWE. Chad Gable's WWE contract ends late next week. Ricochet's ends during the summer and Dijak's ends sometime next month.

I'll be surprised if Gable and Natalya leave. I'll be a little surprised if Ricochet leaves and I wouldn't be surprised if Dijak ends up getting released. WWE apparently just released Brooks Jensen.

An update on Giulia; her surgery was successful and she has a steel plate in arm. It's said that she will be using it as a gimmick in Marigold so that she can say she has more knockout power

Some grim TNA news reported by WON. Robert Evans, who was one of the key members on the TNA creative team, resigned this past week. Other key people have been let go as well. There is nothing on the schedule past 8/2 and 8/3 tapings in Tampa

Mercedes temper tantrum incoming

WWE and those close to Becky Lynch aren't expecting her to go anywhere else as things stand now, but are expecting major offers to come her way.

Industry sources have long expected her to get the largest contract offers of any woman in wrestling history.
