Black Flag and The Queers are playing about an hour away from me in December. I am pretty tempted though I think it might be disappointing.

Got tickets for a show in November - Hot Water Music and Bane.

800 person club. Excited for this, but I already feel tired.

Going off memory, you're close. I think Bane is on/was on Equal Vision. Definitely see back on the day. Not sure if they are still or not, but either way they don't preach about it. Got into them in the mid to late 90s (surprise); they are from MA so they played a lot here. I wasn't edge but loved the music.

To you question though, I have no idea why Bane and HWM are playing together. I love them both so it's a two for the price of admission for me. But sort of a different crowd.

Yeah, these bands, especially HWM, aren't drawing new crowds. It's the same crowds from 25 years ago, but now scared to get hurt for their zoom calls the next day.

Exactly and very true. People will realize that. Who knows? Chance for new friends that had different priorities in their youth. Age softens absolutes. It might be very cool. Have fun.
