*** Official Russia vs. Ukraine Discussion - Invasion has begun *** (2 Viewers)

Mayor of the town SW of Kyiv confirming this. (click "Translate Tweet")

Seems to signal the Russian air campaign is underway in a much more serious fashion than previous nights.
Or maybe the Ukrainians blew it up because they didn't want it to refill Russian tanks when they saw Russia was unable to get their own fuel trucks all the way to Kiev.

Fun.

MACRON CLAIMS MOSCOW MAY BE ABLE TO DEPLOY NUCLEAR ARMS IN BELARUS; MOSCOW HAS BEEN GIVEN THE GREEN LIGHT TO DEPLOY NUCLEAR ARMS THERE - AP

Putin has made a lot of mistakes during this invasion. Incorporating any kind of nuclear anything would make all of this pale in comparison.

Chechen warlord reportedly killed in the convoy that got blowed up https://www.kiratas.com/chechen-general-magomed-tushayev-the-presidents-right-hand-man-killed-near-kiev/

They don't have the balls
You guys talking like this is some sort of game or something. Nuclear ANYTHING doesn’t involve balls, it signals the beginning of the end. Stop with the bravado and discussing the nuclear option as if it’s a serious consideration. It’s not.

Putin may be old school, trying to restore Russia to it’s former glory but at the end of the day he’s sane. He’s losing face with this stupid invasion and will eat crow for it but even he isn’t dense enough to use nuclear anything in this thing. His own people would end him not to mention that every country in the world except for North Korea would bring a swift end to Russia as we now know it. This includes China.

Balls indeed…

I read all these tales posted here and anecdotes from the mediasphere and can't help but wonder if the people of this country view themselves as on the same level of toughness that is being demonstrated in Ukraine.  I suspect the answer is "yes" but I can't think of anything further from the truth.  I certainly wouldn't be doing these kinds of things.
I own SIGNIFICANTLY better weapons, armor, and night vision than the average Russian soldier including:

 - Zenitco Perst 3 Infrared Laser/Illumination system used by Russian special forces

- Trijicon TA-31 ACOG that previously saw action atop a USMC rifle in the middle-east

- A L3 Harris 22UM Unfilmed PVS-14 Night vision system used by American special forces

... and *I* fully know that I am a shell of a fighter compared to the Ukrainians.

@mrsorokaa: ⚡️Zelensky: "What the enemy is doing in Kharkiv, Okhtyrka, Kyiv, Odesa, and other cities and towns merits an international tribunal.”

“We record all their crimes."

And now you’re stop #1 on the SHTF Tour when it comes to America. You should follow this up with the, “but I was involved in a terrible boating accident and lost everything” post just to cover your tracks  :hifive:

Ukraine's Interior ministry asked residents to take down street signs in order to confuse oncoming Russian troops. The state road-signs agency went one step further. (Roughly: all directions are to "go F yourselves")
Link to this please?! 😂😂

Edit: FOUND

Molotov cocktails didn’t do that. Somebody was feeding Vlad some bad info if he thought he was gonna waltz into Kiev/Kyiv/whatever the flavor of the moment spelling is.
It's Kyiv... a GB of mine recently shared a good video about it.

As many as 4300 dead Russians reported.  Red cross asked for a pause simply to collect the bodies.  Russia doesn't seem to have the noone left behind mindset.

I refuse to be cowed into addressing a sovereign countries capital as they wish. I’m an American damnit, I do as I please.

It will forever and always be Key-ev to me 🇺🇦

Rumors that Vlad is ok with 50,000 so into the meat grinder they go. Kinda been a Russian tactic for a while. They should update their playbook. He said he was trying to de-Nazify Ukraine. I got news for you bud, these SOB’s are a helluva lot tougher than Nazi’s. They got no where to go and nothing to lose.

I saw yesterday that Ukrainian govt came out and said that they wanted Russian bodies sent back to Russia. But the Russians are so overextended that's the least of their worries. Reports of Russians running out of gas, food, ammunition.

Ukraine asks Red Cross to repatriate Russian bodies

Yeah, even going back to WWII, Russian generals don't care about body counts. They're probably more upset about the tanks/vehicles they lost.

That is the most obvious trap in history, but if Russia actually tries anything, everyone on the planet knows they’re responsible for the(potential) death of a national leader.

It says delegation.
Ukrainian envoys will meet with Russian diplomats as opposed to the actual leaders:

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) Ukraine president's office says Ukrainian envoys will meet with Russian diplomats as Russian troops draw closer to Kyiv.

Ok, that makes more sense. What are the odds Russia says something to the effect of, “We’ll grant peace if you lay down arms and give up huge chunks of territory.”

Russian Ruble now worth less than DogeCoin and RoBlox video game currency.

Runs on banks have begun with massive lines at some ATMs

EU considering port blockade to Russian ship traffic.

Everything but a phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range!

@nexta_tv⚡⚡⚡️People's Servant Party MP Fyodor Venislavsky reports that negotiations between #Ukraine and #Russia have started!

YUJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJ (but who knows....)

IMO, the only way for Russia to save face is to insist that Ukraine officially cede the Donbas region that Russia controlled any way.

Oh, and they might try to avoid prosecution of war crimes that have occurred in last 72 hours.

The Ukrainian delegation might quote one of their new road signs
