Sorry if this was already posted, didn't see it if it is.

What are you looking for in this game? Like many others, as a JJ and MM owner I'm looking at the SEA RB situation.

Anyone have online links to the game/radio/etc. for those of us up here in Canada?

:football:

Among many other things, the Seahawks trio of young WR's. I'll be focusing on them the most.

I want to watch Nate Burleson's route running (despite no Hasselbeck, should be able to see how "crisp" he looks)

Interested to see how the workload is split up in Sea. backfield.

I'm interested to see how San Diego's first team in general looks - O and D

Momo had a couple good runs picking up solid yardage and the first down...then San Diego decided to not tackle Burleson so he could get the long touchdown.

Maurice Morris is looking much, much better than Jones.
really? how so?jones 6-33morris 4-28not watching it, just took from gamecast
Both have looked good. The only difference I can tell is that JJ's biggest run came on a play with a humongous hole where he strolled through it and then practically did a QB slide when two defenders came barreling towards him. Momo's big run came on a play where there was really nothing there and he broke a couple tackles and made 11 yards out of it.It's funny, they're running styles are very different. JJ hits the hole much harder and faster, as soon as he gets it he's in there. Meanwhile Momo plays it much more patiently and does a better job finding the hole, but doesn't get there as quickly.

I think that shows MoMo's familiarity with the offense and the O-line. He knows he has a little more time to find the hole. Jones is basically running where the play is designed to go.

Or maybe JJ just isn't that good. He had a massive hole to get his big run but other than that has barely looked mediocre. Momo hasn't looked like the next Sanders but imo he's played much better.Maybe I'm only seeing what i want to see.

Pretty much on Burleson. Didn't see him get hurt, i'm thinking the Walrus wants to see what he has in the stable of young WRs.

Is Chris Mortenson trying to break the record for most stories broken in a single year? Guy needs to slow down a bit..

Jones basically ran where the play was designed to go in Dallas. That's why he's now in Seattle. It's not a familiarity thing. It's a Julius Jones thing.

So did Burleson just play the one series and then come out?
Yup. They know they won't have Engram until mid-season (and maybe not Branch at all) - the team is trying to get the youngster WRs as many reps as possible - Burleson has way more experience than the rest of the WR stable at this point.

Sproles has pretty much made Michael Turner look average based on the past few years. I know its preseason, but his instincts are fantastic. Its like he instantaneously makes a decision, goes right to 4th gear, and his brain has already mapped out his next moves.

I havent seen 1 LT owner pick him either

At first I was psyched Rivers was all about targeting Chambers, but then he totally switched over to Jackson

Switched so much to the point that he started scrambling before he even would look over to Chambers. This just reiterates why Rivers is not very good. He's not bad, but if he's ever in the Top 10 QBs in the NFL talk, hes overrrated

Can anyone describe how Jordan Kent has performed? I also see that Chris Taylor caught 2 balls.

Where did these guys line up? What patterns did they run? Who is looking like most likely to get the most targets once the games are for reals?

On one team I have all 3 of the young Seattle WR. I like Kent best myself. But will keep whoever will get the most targets.

TIA for any info on this.

Courtney Taylor looks to be the starting flanker.Payne played with the first teamers, was lined up in the slot.Obomanu played a bit with the first team too but he came off the bench after Payne and Taylor.Kent's playing with the 2nd and 3rd stringers, I don't think they're looking at him for this season.

Couldn't agree more. He's locking in on his first read like he's a rookie.
