Totally against the run of play but I will take it.
Seconded - but the only way it would have even been considered was not making the finalPerhaps this isn't the best time to bring this up, but regardless of the result of this game, I honestly don't think the US should get rid of Bob Bradley. Discuss...
Dolo got hurtChange 10 minutes in???
Thirded. I think we've committed to him for another cycle barring a disastrous result. Losing today would be disappointing, but not a disaster.Seconded - but the only way it would have even been considered was not making the finalPerhaps this isn't the best time to bring this up, but regardless of the result of this game, I honestly don't think the US should get rid of Bob Bradley. Ah. Missed that. Howard's getting lots of work, probably not good.Dolo got hurtChange 10 minutes in???
Dolo was arguably the US's most consistent player all tournament. Sub causes two changes in back line and none of like Bornstein. Pretty big change.'OC Zed said:I haven't been following the tournament that much... what are the implications of this?Dolo coming off
I agree too much pressure. Best hope we have is to hold on and hopefully catch on a counter.Mexico looks great. Doubtful we hang onto this.
They are goodi don't undertstand how we have 9 back and they are finding easy space
Adu looks lke our best player. Wow, again.
He is extremely composed for such a big game. God bless himI love me some Freddy Adu...We'll need both of these goals.
I have been saying all tournament the US needs to take players on. He is doing fine I think.Adu almost looks like he's trying to do too much, perhaps overcompensating, trying to earn a full job with the team. He's been dribbling right into traffic a number of times...but if he keeps playing perfect one-touch passes like that...
Who knows....but it's good to see on the big stage. During the U-20 World Cup a few years ago, he was far and away the best player on the field in the US games I saw, and captained the team despite being (IIRC) the youngest player on the squad...which includes guys like Altidore, Robbie Rogers, etc.Amazing what some work ethic and a fire under your ### can do.Where the hell did this Adu come from?
He's keeping the ball,so I can live with that. He's really been the one guy who has been able to keep possession.Adu almost looks like he's trying to do too much, perhaps overcompensating, trying to earn a full job with the team. he ctually saw the field this year for his club, even if it was the turkish second division. i don't care what league he is in next year, he needs to play every game. hopefully he continues to work hard. this is really exciting.Where the hell did this Adu come from?
Tasker's forgotten more soccer than I know, but I agree w/ this. If nothing else, Adu is occupying multiple defenders.I have been saying all tournament the US needs to take players on. No complaints, he's doing well with it. I just don't want to see him pushing the ball forward if it's not there and forcing turnovers.I have been saying all tournament the US needs to take players on.
