Nobody watched Stuart Holden and the Wanderers take on West Ham (and Barrerra... meskin)? Holden playing the first two games as a paired flat central MF, getting a lot of responsibility.

But Holden needs to break out of US player mode- all two touch, quick passing/running- and take some mofos on. He needs to and his team desperately needs him to, as they look toothless outside of Petrov, who looks long in the tooth himself. I had to stop watching at around 60 minutes, but the "its' a funny old game" adage couldn't have been more true about this one- West Ham completely pounded and owned Bolton the first half but couldn't score (including a missed pk and another pk missed by the ref). Bolton scores on a freak play in the 2nd half and then again as the Hammers pushed to get the equalizer.
