How long did you guys lose the feed for? I lost it for less than ten seconds but did see some pixilization for about two minutes.

That's a pretty obvious tactical change based on the Italian play in the last few games. Mark Mario tightly and cut off the space for Pirl
ne of the annoucers says that Spain has let up... I think they've purposefully done so in order to frustrate the Italian side. Let them get a bit more tired and run off their aggression due to being down. Then ramp it up at the very end of the second half, trying to put Italy in a 2-0 hole for half.

Ramos is much better at that IMO. It's a shame he's forced to play CB (even though people say that's his natural position) because he can't overlap on the wing.

Probably. But given that he only had a year left on his contract, he could dictate his destination to a large degree.I think that was Spain's best half of football in the tournament so far.

True. That said, I think Spain came out with the idea of putting to rest the whole "Spain is boring" angle today. It was great to see the energy they had today.

Totally agree. Instead of playing keep away with the intent of doing nothing but keep away, they actually moved forward with some real urgency to their game. Very nice to see.

Amazing to think the Spain was regarded as a perennial underachiever prior to Euro 2008. A fantastic 4 years for these players.
