[gusrightbforeplayermissesahalfchance]BAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![gusrightbforeplayermissesahalfchance] Jesus, I hate that man.
It was much more guttural than you seem to indicate here.
BAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More like that?
Pretty close. You need to add a couple "h"s at the end. He sounded more like a sheep there.

That said, couple buildups and crosses there that Gus refrained from losing his mind over. Learning?

Well, have to give Spurs and Chelsea credit...clutch late-game performances down the stretch this season...

Shweet win going away for Chelsea.

Team | Games | Points

3. Chelsea 35: 68

4. Arsenal 36: 67

5. Tottenham 35: 65

All the CL contenders should be proud of performing down the stretch. Or at least scratching out results.

Chelsea strikes me as the team with the easiest holes to fill. A striker. Another CB and maybe another high work rate CM in the Ramires role.

Can't decide if I am rooting for a draw or a Chelsea win on Wednesday. Leaning draw and go for 3rd. What about the rest of you Arsenal fans?

Chelsea win. Then Arsenal control their own destiny with only 4 points in the final 2 games. Draw and they need to win both to control destiny. Spurs win and Arsenal are on the outside looking in.

Kilmarnock/Hibs game abandoned after fan falls unconscious in the stands. Paramedics gave him CPR and the game was stopped. I saw on my Hearts group on Facebook that the fan died, but I can't find any confirmation. Sad.

Ricardo Portillo, 46, had been in critical condition since the April 27 incident and passed away Saturday night, according to theUnified Police Department of Greater Salt Lake in Utah.
Authorities will consider additional charges against the 17-year-old suspect this week since the referee died, police said in a statement.

Lt. Justin Hoyle with the Salt Lake Unified Police Department said that Portillo was a refereeing a game at Eisenhower Junior High, in Taylorsville, Utah, last weekend when he flagged the teen for a foul.

"He made a call against a player that he was unhappy with, and gave him a yellow card, so the 17-year-old turned and punched him in face," Hoyle told ABCNews.com.

Portillo was transported to the hospital with what were at first believed to be minor injuries, but the referee soon went into a coma, Hoyle said.

The suspect was arrested Monday and brought to Salt Lake Valley Detention Center, where he has remained in custody, according to police. His name has not been released because he is a minor.

Portillo's daughter Johana told reporters earlier this week that she is heartbroken over the attack on her dad. She said this is not the first time he has been attacked on the soccer field.

"Last Saturday when we got called we thought it wasn't that serious, we thought, 'OK, they're going to call and we'll have to go get him out again and he's going to be OK,' but it wasn't like that," she said. "This person caused us a lot of pain."

I don't really follow the Bundesliga, but aren't Hoffenheim owned by a billionaire? How are they in relegation danger?

Edit: This new quoting system sucks.

Quote1899 Hoffenheim and its major shareholder Dietmar Hopp are another quasi-exception to the 50+1 ownership rule. While he is not technically in control of the majority of the shares, he invested millions to take the team from the eighth division to the Bundesliga in less than ten years. His generous investment ensured him a de facto influence which can be compared to that of an owner of a club.
I guess he can dump money into facilites and such, but not directly into buying players.

Gerrard out for the remainder of the season to get some shoulder surgery done and dusted to be cleared for the preseason.

Carragher gets to be captain for his final few games

Gerrard and Carragher have likely played their last game together.

I like Moyes a lot too, and he gets a lot of production out of Everton's talent, but is he really a candidate to replace SAF? He just doesn't seem like a big enough name to be United manager.
