Wynalda is boring as hell to listen to though...and it seems like all these old US team guys have a chip on their shoulder or something. almost never anything positive to say

I get that we have a huge talent and possession advantage, but our fullbacks are doing a great job getting forward today

I think Wynalda has his favorites. It's hard to say he doesn't say anything positive when he's basically fellated Wondo since he came on.
and granted there wasn't a whole lot of positive stuff earlier...but just an overall tone with him and Lalas turns me off

I realize I'm not a huge follower of the USMNT and only watch from time to time, but Breck Shea sucks.

I know the talent level of the gold cup is very low, but I find it hard to believe Wondo is not a more prominent player on the team.

Agree with the nice hair of the midfield today.

Wynalda has been okay as an announcer today, he doesn't bother me, and every now and then has a good insight into the game. Gus Johnson has also seemed to have worked on his crescendo. It's still there a lot more than I would like to hear, but no where near where it was in previous efforts where every half chance was BOOMED.

Hell,we even have great hair in the studio.

For all the crap he takes, Beckerman is pretty awesome at picking out those near post runs from Wondo. Second straight game he's seen a run that I'm not sure most of our other CMs would see.

Kid from my hometown , Soony Saad(my buddy coached against him) with his first goal of the season...he seems to be getting a lot of love from the fans. He could have a bright future. That is cool to see.

Wow so Martinique spring the upset Mexico drops to P3 (barring Canada getting a miracle win by a big margin) and suddenly you have the U.S., C.R. and Mexico all are in the same 1/2 of the draw with Honduras almost certainly the 4th  You also have the absurd scenario where the loser of U.S.-C.R. avoids Mexico in the quarters.

One side could be: U.S.-Mexico-C.R.-Honduras while the other half could be Panama-Martinique-Haiti-Belize :lmao:

LOL

25m€ is a good chunk of change. He could certainly be a bust at that price. Plus, with the way Barça works, they probably have a favorable buy-back clause.

I don't see how any Barca fan has a right to be mad. Thiago's buyout clause was completely within Barca's control. As was the decision to give him games or not give him games.
Pretty ####ty that he was lured away by the coach who brought in Cesc to limit his minutes. Also, he was injured for a couple of months in the fall. That is one of the main reasons he had less games.
