What is "Who is more useless than Andrey Arshavin", Alex@YouAreMyArsenal
If Niklas Bendtner is the answer someone please tell me what the question was?
I swear it seems like Levy got ahold of FM 2013 over the summer with all of the transfers.Yeah, that's everyone's assumption.I assume its EriksenVlad Chirches and Erik Lamela officially announced by Spurs. Rumor is they are planning a third unveiling today as well.
From what I'm seeing Ilori also, with Shay Given coming over on loan to be the backup keeper. With regard to Ilori, I've honestly never seen him play, but I did see this from a scouting report:Sakho to Liverpool for about £18
Unlike most tall central defenders, Ilori is surprisingly not slow when it comes to his movement. In fact, he is exceptionally pacey; not just for a defender. At Sporting CP’s academy, the club staff conduct speed tests on players and Ilori currently holds the academy record beating the pace set by the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani before him. This is a great asset to have in a defender.
Grumble.Tom Hagen said:He's just toying with the media at this point right?T Bell said:Right, so Wenger today declared that he won't panic buy, and he held open the possibility that Bendtner might return to the squad and play.![]()
I'm pretty new to all this, if Arsenal doesn't sign someone who, you know, actually costs money will there be any real fan backlash or will people just grumble and keep showing up?

These two statements seem to contradict each other...
Kept an eye out for him in the Toulon tournament once i read Liverpool were interested. IIRC, he's a converted forward, so that explains the pace and technical ability for a 6'3" center back.I keep hearing £6m for Tiago IloriETA: some reports of a done deal at 8...From what I'm seeing Ilori also, with Shay Given coming over on loan to be the backup keeper. I don't know if it's "completely different." Obviously there are some subtleties. If Manchester United beats Arsenal 2-1 at Old Trafford in the league, that's an unqualified good result. In Champions League, there would be hand wringing about the away goal conceded. So I've seen a lot of references to European football being a completely different animal than league play. Is it fundamentally different? The only real difference I can think of is that you're trying to win the tie instead of the game, which means there are more instances of teams parking the bus to protect a lead in a second game, or trying to force a draw on the road/give up as few away goals as possible and getting the second game on your home field.
Someone pointed out on Twitter what a difference a point makes. Arsenal goes to Milan, Dortmund and the Mediterranean coast, while Spurs travel to Dagestan, Moldova, and the Arctic circle. One of the teams Spurs drew for the EL group stage is Anzhi Makhachkala. That should be interesting.
Yeah, I accidentally left out the part of the quote that talked about how he's a converted forward, who is exceptionally comfortable with the ball at his feet. So much so, that he doesn't rush his passes, and is never afraid to advance on offense from the back.Kept an eye out for him in the Toulon tournament once i read Liverpool were interested. Fox Sports 2 or something like that I do not getIs the Supercup on US television?

I finally just found it. Not HD. It is also on my Fox Deportes. Fox isn't putting it o their regular Fox Sports channel (showing a marathon of infomercials), Fox Sports 1(rerun of Utah vs Utah state and then NASCAR practice. PRACTICE?! /Iverson), or Fox Soccer (rerun of 2012 Champions League game).Fox Sports 2 or something like that I do not getIs the Supercup on US television?![]()

And somewhere in an trailer park in Alabama there is a guy that is about to turn on his old Speed Network (now FS2) hoping to catch some NASCAR practice only to find a European soccer game.FSC is playing MUFC vs Braga from last year and FS1 is showing a NASCAR practice sessionFox Sports 2 or something like that I do not getIs the Supercup on US television?![]()

What currency?Bale deal numbers have been varying quite a bit. A guy who is supposedly close to Madrid is saying it's 84M + 7M in add ons if certain stats/appearances are reached.
Rebecca Lowe? I know she hosts their studio show but I don't think I would describe her as chunky.NBCSN had a show on this morning called "Premier League News" - how can I find out who the host was? (the chunky blonde bird)

Nope, she was an English bird... I am thinking that it was an Premier League Productions show and maybe not original NBC content? Wenger (and at this point I do believe it's Wenger - there's been some speculation that it's the result of others) is frugal. He likes to develop his own players and add quality players for bargain prices in the transfer market, usually in the 10M-20M GBP range (Cazorla for 17M GBP, Giroud for 10M, Podolski for 10M, all last year, would be an examples of that). Arsenal has a top youth academy, and if you know how to judge players you can build a good team that way, and Wenger has certainly done that. You can't, in this day and age however, build an elite team, and without an elite or near-elite team you won't win the Premier League, and odds are highly stacked against you to win the CL.Tom Hagen said:He's just toying with the media at this point right?T Bell said:Right, so Wenger today declared that he won't panic buy, and he held open the possibility that Bendtner might return to the squad and play.![]()

Getting points in the away leg, especially by scoring goals, and winning outright at home is huge.So I've seen a lot of references to European football being a completely different animal than league play. Is it fundamentally different? Wars have been started over less.
