All the pubs I go to for games sell alcohol in the morning.
but don't they need a special license? I think it's way more expensive here.
Every state has different alcohol laws (and they can vary by county). In CA you can start at 6am.
Sounds like I need to move to CA.
You could also finally marry Bigbottom there.
Still holding on to hope that TX will turn around...

In other news, van Gaal complained about something else today.*

(* feel free to bump this post every day, as it's always something with that guy.)

US movie theaters to show Premier League games

http://news.yahoo.com/us-movie-theaters-show-premier-league-games-163707606.html

NEW YORK (AP) Movie theaters around the U.S. will show live English soccer games on their big screens on Saturday mornings.

The simulcasts will start with the opening of the Premier League season Aug. 16. Thirty-three theaters in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Washington are currently scheduled to take part.

The deal was announced Wednesday by Fathom Events and NBC Sports Group, which broadcasts the Premier League in the U.S.
Not sure what the point of this, particularly if they don't already have alcohol licenses.
We have a chain of movie theaters here in Texas called Alamo Drafthouse that serves alcohol. I went to a 10:30 am showing of Beerfest and drank. I'm really hoping they are part of this deal.

AMC has it in Houston, but I don't think they serve until noon.

Saw a bunch of Rossoneri fans lining up outside the Adidas store in SoHo this morning in official looking, roped off chutes.

Borini? Is he just trolling for a higher wage offer from Sunderland now?
Rumor is he wants to stay in Liverpool and fight for his spot
Guy barely started half of Sunderland's games last year. And yet, he thinks he can get playing time with all the pieces LFC is bringing in? :lmao:
