still not getting the Rebecca love. Dog-face, if you like dogs, I guess. Spunky personality? Soccer knowledge... ok. I wanted to practice inseminating Julie Foudy repeatedly, mostly because I liked how she played... and was ok with her looks.

Last year I watched an awful lot of games cold, especially in La Liga where I knew a grand total of Ronaldo and Messi. So I started with a blank slate and started evaluating the players with no preconceptions. Di Maria and the dreamy Griezemann were the ones who stood out to me. Same way in Serie A with Cuadrado.
Griezmann hasn't looked as good for Atlético as he did for RS last year (although it's still very early and he's still young). Hopefully he can learn to tackle and show some steel, otherwise hell be playing behind an inferior Raúl Garcia.

Yeah, that is what made that purchase interesting.

Hey Tasker, Spurs fan here.

Nice to see our boys at the top of the table. Can someone give me a rundown on the Spurs v. QPR? 4-0 is pretty solid effort even against a team heaing for relegation.

Oh, also very happy about the Yedlin news. Can't wait to get his kit next summer.
It was a solid effort all around.

Chadli and Lamella were fantastic. Spurs have a good roster and if Pochettino can get the best out of it they will do well this year. Everything was clicking for them in Pochettino fashion which means they are adapting to his style quickly. I believe they had a goal build-up of something like 48 passes.

Dier obviously scored again as well. He has great composure and movement in front of goal. Really quite amazing for a 20-year old new to the league and playing out of position (he's normally a CB).

Things are looking up.

Don't get me wrong, I still like the signing, simply due to the dynamic moves and scoring potential of Griezmann. Players like that don't grow on trees.Time will tell if he can buy into Simeone's system, or if he'll end up at Arsenal in 2 years.

The chick on Bien blows her away.

Wonder why city are so stuck with going down their left side. Sterling and Henderson working hard on defense in front of Johnson instead of attacking Coutinho Allen and Moreno

Man, you can't make a single mistake against city, or they will punish you.

Welcome to the league young Moreno. Can't be caught waiting for the ball.

Decent half from Pool, even down a goal. City is silly solid, and they look great, especially in the back. I think they have to make a mistake for this to be evened out.

Johnson is Johnson, and have been too slow on the ball and haven't displayed much of a touch, but that has been expected of him lately. I'm more worried about coutinho looking off.

Nice pace from the youngster on the wing, too bad his crosses have been mostly horrible... At least showing some promise. The goal isn't all on him, Lovren needs to do better on that header too IMO.

Jovetic is a great sniper, what an abundance of riches... Jovetic and Dzeko!

Playing one the top 5 teams in the world when you're not one of the top 5 teams in the world means that any mistake will likely cost you the match.

He plays the weirdest game, drifting around almost unnoticed until pouncing on a bobble or a pass and blasting a screamer on goal. I think I counted three touches in one half of a league game last year but two of them were howitzers that just missed. Off the first touch, of course.

Liverpool are going to have to score a lot of goals this year (much like last year).

Simeone got an 8 game ban for his actions in the Spanish Supercup win vs. Real. Damn... That's a rough way to start the season. Right now it's 0-0 against Rayo, so it's time to shake all that #### off and ball.
