Real Madrid just hung 8 on Depor. Chicharito had 2 goals in the last 8 mins of the match, including a cracker half volley. Useless goals really as la liga doesn't use goal differential to decide tie breakers, they use head to head wins.

Some great goals in the RM game today. Chicharito, wowza
James was pretty outrageous too.
No doubt.

Listening to Hudson go over CR7's first goal (the nice header) and James goal....think the guy had a stroke from jerking himself off. The adjectives he used to describe them were 'interesting'. Hate that guy
Yeah, I've tried but I'm just not a Hudson fan. He's a try-too-hard caricature of himself.

Are we going to start seeing "Liverpool- club in crisis" headlines now?

People have soft-pedaled the impact of the Suarez departure but that plus Sturridge's injury have really hurt them badly. This start to the season is pretty shocking for a team with top 3 expectations.

I'm forever blowing bubbles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is he cute?
It's Christo, so he's definitely hairy. ;)

6 down and 34 points to go (44 for top-half) for The Tigers.

Still on pace - amazing that suddenly defense seems to be the club's problem.

This recording games isn't going to fly, so painful to sit through their crap play and I end up skipping forward. Either my kid's games need to change time or these, Liverpool obviously need my "watching live" mojo. :(

I had this as a draw, so I'm telling myself it's only one dropped point...

Hurry back DS15

NBCSN has a good MLS double header today.

At 5:00pm, Portland hosts Vancouver, a game that is pivotal to the playoffs

And at 7:30pm, NY hosts Seattle. Seattle is trying to put a stamp on the Supporters Shield while this is almost a most win for NY in what could be one of Henry's last few games ever.

Link? Almost everything I heard/read is top 4. Especially the Liverpool fans in this thread only hoped for top four.

I had Liverpool on 7 points after 4 games, knew it'd be a tough start with so many new guys.

They'll start clicking about the same time as last season, December

Anyone else having trouble with the Pool-WHU replay on iPad? It's the only replay match that's not working. I hit play and the app crashes.

:softball:

But I'm serious - won't play

How I see it:

1) City

2) Chelsea

3) Liverpool

4) Arsenal

5) Everton

6) United

7) Spurs
Liverpool will be relegated.

It was a mixed bag...

If Suarez is on the Messi/Ronaldo level that people claim, it is pretty hard to believe that losing him will have little impact.
It'll be a loss, obviously, just not a 'Liverpool drop to 6th/7th' loss.

IMO, i don't think they'll challenge for the title and will drop down to a battle for 3rd/4th.

Their GD will be close to the same, maybe in the mid 40s as they've strengthened in the back. That's usually a good sign of a top 3 team.

Instead of vague quotes, find my preseason top four and get back to me, toots

Look on the bright side - most of the mid-week fixtures will be done by December, and Pool can concentrate on the league from January to May.

I hope Liverpool get 16th, United get 4th and Liverpool win the champions league.

Didn't they change that rule?

That's what i get for laughing at Liverpool. Atlético draws 2-2 to lowly Celta at home. The defense again looked somewhat suspect in giving up a penalty. Mandzukic was sorely missed.

The consensus is City and Chelsea have the top 2 nailed down. Most people seem to think that 3rd and 4th are being contested by 3 teams primarily: Arsenal, United and Liverpool. As none of those three teams seems at this point like a clear frontrunner in that race, all are competing for top 3.
