making the rounds today - Swiss women’s NT took on the Luzern boys U15s and the result was as expected.
Been a while since I saw a sport live other than soccer... But they stop games and run commercials at the stadium now?Went to Inter/CARP in Seattle last night. This was my first game involving a non-MLS club and it was just another level. The fans, the level of play, everything. I dont think I could sit through a live American sport again with all the commercials. Just doesn't compare.
I agree wiht the universe. Do eeeeet! As a ManU fan for you, that would be a wonderful trip. Two tough oppenents, but games you should win. That'd be a blast.Brentford and Sunderland between the Chelsea and Liverpool matches.... United could be out of any race except relegation by mid October.Wow. Three of last season's top 4 to start the campaign. The EPL certainly isn't doing ManU any favors. Fans might check out by September....United ranked as the hardest opening fixture list.Given the Premier League never schedules a game between two big clubs on the opening weekend, feeding Man Utd to Arsenal is one way of saying you're ****

Still would love to leave LA on Christmas and come back on New Year's Eve and try and catch Newcastle (12/27) and Wolves (12/30) at Old Trafford.
Started planning a 2026 trip over the weekend. Part of the already-booked trip involves one day in Wrexham en route to Holyhead so we can take a ferry to Dublin. I'll hoist a few at the Turf for everyone. Maybe I'll get lucky and there will be a midweek game or something, but in any event I'm looking forward to checking it out.He was so instrumental in getting them up to league 1. Club legend.end of an era ...
Wrexham AFC can confirm striker Paul Mullin has joined Wigan Athletic on loan until the end of the 2025/26 season, pending clearance.
Watching the last few episodes of Welcome to Wrexham they focused on him and Palmer's lack of playing time, lack of goals and how to handle moving on from the two. Mullin has had injury issues and neither were scoring. At 30, probably not a bad thing for him to stay in league one with Wigan.
Looks like the Championship fixture list is out!! And of course, the universe is telling me to try and go.
Leave LA on Christmas and come back on New Year's Eve and try and catch
United v Newcastle (12/27)
Wrexham v Preston /12/29)
United v Wolves (12/30)
Wrexham is also home to Sheffield United on 12/26....
I'll be in London over Easter (04/05 and 04/06) and then Wrexham on 04/08. Wrexham play Monday but I get there on Tuesday. I don't want to rearrange anything to go. Was an afterthought, anyway.
However, there's a few Easter Monday Championship fixtures in London on Easter Monday I can give a go.
Milwall has Norwich. I can cheer on Sarge if I can get an away ticket. Watford looks pretty close, they have Charlton Athletic that day. That just sounds awful.I agree wiht the universe. Would step down a level. Only London team at home in the Championship is Millwall, while these days their reputation is greatly exaggerated, and you'd be absolutely fine, Orient or Wimbledon would probably be better experiences.
Yeah Watford are close, I just wouldn't class them as London. Norwich travel well, I doubt you get in their endMilwall has Norwich. I can cheer on Sarge if I can get an away ticket. I'd be happy to get into Milwall's end and root against Norwich as a sort-of Ipswich Town supporter, too. Like I said, I'm open, and if there's a match outside of London (but close) I'd consider that, too. Will also be happy to hit a pub.Yeah Watford are close, I just wouldn't class them as London.
