That's a big point for Leicester but losing Vardy for Swansea hurts.  I think Leicester is going to struggle to get enough points to beat Tott if Tott finishes w 5 wins.  They need Tott to drop points IMO.

Meanwhile, Milton Keynes is almost certain to be relegated. If both were playing in League 1 next season, it would seem to conclusively put to bed the stated reason for the relocation.
Would certainly make League 1 very interesting next year.

Have never believed Wenger was in trouble any of the times people were baying for his head.  Think he might be this time though -- feels different.

Ouch Arsenal.

Top 4 not looking like a lock now.  A lot of tricky fixtures with relegation battling teams and their heads are really low.

Atlético win easily 3-0 over Granada. All the pressure on Barça to get 3 as, Atlético are level and Real a point behind.

Once again, la Liga title race is more competitive than in the EPL.

What the hell happened to the greatest team I've seen in my lifetime? The wheels came off that train mighty quickly.  If the results hold it will be the first time in 13 years that Barça has lost 3 consecutive la Liga games.

That team appears to have played the same 11 too much because they're gassed and not much on the bench to supplement.  Read a stat the other day that MSN have only been subbed off 3 times all year.  Also finishing is very poor.  Probably time to give Ter Stegen the reigns.

Anyone can win La Liga at this point

And down goes los culés! Atlético equal on points (but still second due to head to head tiebreaker).  Those games against Atlético and Real are effectively one extra point in the standings.

So why don't they just take one game and bench them?  Makes no sense to run three studs into the ground.

Real and Atletico both have their toughest remaining ties on Wednesday, but this squad doesn't look capable of playing another 45 minutes.   Rafinha, Turan, and Munir all need to play and perform.
I'd like to see Masch play in Busquets' spot a little as well.

He's about the only option with Samper out for the year.  Busquets, like many players, has looked really tired the last few games.  A few passes today where he was waiting on the ball.   Not good enough.

I just don't get it.  Liverpool subbed ten guys today. Yeah they still had Sturridge and Firmino, but sometimes you have to give your top guys a break.  Klopp said that today's team was a better team for TODAY than the guys that played Borussia, and that's true.  Those guys would have been gassed if they tried to play today.

Id imagine Barcelona should have a much better bench than LIV, so they should be able to get through this.

The one positive is that after this weeks Wednesday game, it looks like Barca goes to one game a week for the rest of the season.

The gap between the starting 11 and bench at Barcelona is pretty massive right now.  The transfer ban contributed to it, but a lot of depth purchases like Turan, Alexi Vidal, Matheiu, and Vermelean have not panned out.  Additionally, the squad never replaced the loss of Pedro.  Lack of depth has been a recurring issue, but never this acute.  It is hard to get players to sign up and ride the bench at Barcelona behind MSN.

I'm honestly surprised Arda hasn't been more useful to Barça. He wasn't a world beater for Atleti, but he was one of the most skillful players on the team for a few seasons and contributed greatly two years ago on that run to the title and  CL final.  Perhaps his style isn't working well with the front 3 and Busquets.  Maybe the fact that he can't speak Spanish well (let alone, Catalan) after 4 years in Madrid isn't helping either.

All I can say is that Atlético retooled nicely with his departure. Saúl and Carrasco have been stellar in the midfield, the former putting in both more defensive work and more goal scoring than Arda.  Carrasco and Koke have taken up the creative elements, and Gabi has returned to form as an absolute rock in the center of the park.

He has only been playing since Jan, so maybe he needs more time to fit in.  It certainly has not worked well so far as a sub for Rakitic, but I'd like to seem him swapped with Iniesta more.

The not subbing off of Messi, Suarez and Neymar is shocking...especially with the games they win by 3-5 goals.

17 games they've won by greater than 3 goals. Seems like there was plenty of opportunity to give them breathers and in addition, develop some of the bench because they get more game time

I think they could easily drop points today.  Stoke isn't the easiest place to play.
