Is it just me or was Ramos a hair offside?
Wouldn't be a Real win without some cheating by Sergio Ramos.Nope
Goal stands
Lol...just ready to post the same...can't stand that woman. And it certainly wouldn't be a Real win without some epic dooooshbaggery from Pepe.
He's been about as dangerous as James through 120 min.Hard to believe CR7 is even on the pitch, he has done almost nothing.
A little bit of me wanted him to get the winnerPlease don't let Fernando take a penner.
1st five to raise their handSo it's 10:30pm on June 26th at MetLife Stadium and against all odds the US has fought Lionel Messi's Argentina to a 1-1 draw AET.
Which five US players do you pick to take penalties and hoist the Copa?
That does suck... but at least you didn't lose to LIVERPOOL, on penalties, at HOME, in your one & only European Final.3 European Finals, 3 losses.
I'm proud of them, but heartbroken.
I agree, that should have been a red. Ramos with all the luck today since he was offside on the goal. How was that tackle at the end of the first 90 by Sergio Ramos not a red card? Annihilated the guy's legs from the side/back, nowhere near the ball, on a potential game-winning breakaway.
Not bad, but I'm pretty sure I'm going with wounded Pepe.Sebowski said:@Native, I give to you your new avatar.

Please, somebody use it anyway.
How will you decide which one? So many to choose from. Not bad, but I'm pretty sure I'm going with wounded Pepe.
I thought it was a near perfect professional foul - the exact situation and technique where a smart player takes a yellow. I thought Clattenberg had a very good day, particularly the immediate dissent yellow on Gabi after the Ramos foul and the way he dismissed Pepe's theatrics. How was that tackle at the end of the first 90 by Sergio Ramos not a red card? Really enjoyed this game as a neutral and noob. I didn't know that Pepe existed prior to this game -- now I have somebody to hate.
Mentioned this rumor awhile back. Inter has severe limitations on their market strategy, due to FFP, and there seems to be no plan in place going forward... Mancini already has stated he sees them doing doing no better than fourth next year, with the limited resources at his "disposal". Aside from prior allegiance, I don't understand why he commit to such a project...it's a sad state of affairs in Italy right now. There are some rumors that Simeone may quit Atleti after this loss. Only place he could go is Inter, but (in my opinion), if he wants CL glory that has to be a step backwards. More likely to win a CL with Atlético in the next 5 years than Inter.
In other news, had there been a report about Carvajal's injury? It world make the Spanish selección less interesting.
I want him with Argentina for a World Cup run. After that he can pick his job. There are some rumors that Simeone may quit Atleti after this loss. No way that happens with Messi still on the squad...the tension between the offensive & defensive players is already palpable, & you know whose side that Negro Laziale would take.I want him with Argentina for a World Cup run. After that he can pick his job.
