at the one dude still trying to argue the callI think he was yawning as he took the shot. That was probably the most casual spectacular goal ever scored.Jesus. How good would Yaya be if he gave a ****?
Oh.HIS CLUB REBUILDING MAGICHis what!?The plan was for LVG to work his club rebuilding magic and then hand it over to Giggs (or whomever) after 3 years. It just hasn't taken. Why did the team give him a small fortune to spend if he wasn't considered a long-term solution?Bonzai said:The fan in me wants to see what Giggs can do, but Mourinho is a master. I'd support him no question. I understand why people hate him, but I've always loved his schtick.
LVG was never a long term answer anyway. I love the guy but it's not working, time to move on..
Kind of puts the whole "shoot-down-a-russian-jet" incident into perspective...
I see it scheduled fo nbc sports for the 10am games. Called Breakaway.Does anyone know if NBC is doing the 'whip around' on boxing day again?
I'm not sure what they called it but last year they did two hours of coverage like the Red Zone channel for BPL. It was awesome.
The kids all play futsal in the winter now. Indoor turf leagues for youth are out. It's awesome that I get to buy a second pair of soccer shoe and another ball each winter.so I have been playing Futsol. And besides being extremely sore from being old and playing on the hard surface (almost like a basketball court), Its been fun. Indoor without the boards. Anyone else playing?

I had a coach when I was a kid who got us playing it on basketball courts. always been a fan, since its about close control and circus stuff.so I have been playing Futsol. and this is considered an upgrade over Omar Gonzalez?A$hley Cole to the Galaxy apparently. I might have to go to RFK for the DCU game just to get an "Ashley Cole, you're a %^&*@!" chant going.

I believe I am of similar age and yes my body is breaking. But I am still deadly in short spurts!I had a coach when I was a kid who got us playing it on basketball courts. always been a fan, since its about close control and circus stuff.so I have been playing Futsol. at this age, my body would break.
noticed over the summer that somebody built a legit futsol field/court in the neighborhood. oh- just googled... RBNY and US Soccer. ok. I guess that explains why it's locked up every time I've been by it.
nice. Cole's been playing at the top of his game for a while now... or...A$hley Cole to the Galaxy apparently. I might have to go to RFK for the DCU game just to get an "Ashley Cole, you're a %^&*@!" chant going.
It is even more confusing when you can't really evaluate the Gonzo move because they won't release the transfer fee.and this is considered an upgrade over Omar Gonzalez?A$hley Cole to the Galaxy apparently. MLS is so confusing sometimes.

is their any validity to this yet? Best I can tell is this rumor came from some French magazine that barely knows what MLS is.Maybe they really hate Robbie Rogers.Eephus said:and this is considered an upgrade over Omar Gonzalez?Ramsay Hunt Experience said:A$hley Cole to the Galaxy apparently. I don't get it either. Gerrard, Lamps, and Pirlo notwithstanding, the league was just beginning to shed its image as a well-paid retirement league by getting guys who still gave a #### like Drogba, Kaka, and Villa (and Giovinco, obviously). If Ashely Cole plays in LA there's a good chance he'll spend more time at the Playboy Mansion than the Stub Hub Center.
Awesome. My guide shows Sunderland v Man City tho. Boxing Day right?I see it scheduled fo nbc sports for the 10am games. Called Breakaway.Does anyone know if NBC is doing the 'whip around' on boxing day again?

That first goal was some quality defending.Arnautivic's first touch on that goal was like he had a pillow on his foot. I'm so fascinated with the first touch on these guys.Stoke look the better team so far.
Since November 25, they have taken a grand total of 3 points from a possible 21 in all competitions.LVG Death Watch continues
One thing I think Man U underestimated in their team building this year was the need for a poacher. Every offensive player they added was of the shiny, skilled variety but they are lacking a good old fashioned "I don't care how I look" goal scorer.Hard to imagine a team would struggle with Ashley Young and Daley Blind at Fullback and Fellaini as their attacking midfielder....
Memphis' pure awfulness has really been astounding to me. I get that he's young and the Dutch League's horrendous defenses were a big part of why he put up big stats, but he always looked really solid playing for the Dutch team. Kid looks absolutely lost out there.
Yeah, can't help but notice this every time a golden chance falls to the foot of Fellaini or Jesse Lingaard (who I still can't figure out what he actually does that makes him a Man U player)One thing I think Man U underestimated in their team building this year was the need for a poacher. This is of course magnified by the fact that Hernandez simply won't stop scoring in Germany where he has a fantastic 19 goals in 22 appearances this year.
It would be even weirder if Liverpool were in the top-5...Chelsea, United and Liverpool all outside the top-5. Weird season so far.
Like I tell my kid, it's not a nutmeg if you lose the ball.
LOL ... I mentally put the O/U on your response at 60 minutes when I wrote that. Should have bet the over.It would be even weirder if Liverpool were in the top-5...Chelsea, United and Liverpool all outside the top-5. Weird season so far.

what a disaster.
