Was looking forward to the Bayern-Juve match till I saw that Dybala, Marchisio, & Chiellini are all out.  Dybala really hurts; he was the one player I tbought could swing the balance with improvising something out of nothing, similiar to Balotelli vs Germany in Euro '12.  Oh well, F Juventus anyways.

For those who wonder if Atletico's DMs are any good, check out PSV's pass chart.

Unreal that a Dutch League defense (PSV) shutout Atletico (in normal time) over both legs...#TheGuardadoEffect#

Stone Cold Steve Austin sat next to me at an airport bar and that happened to him to. Not quite as frequent. Ronaldo was like every 20 seconds. Stone Cold was probably like every 45 seconds. Good dude. Talked to me for over 20 minutes while trying to finish his beer (local IPA, he quit drinking #### beer). Just kept talking while talking pics with people.

From uefa.com

Possible lineups
Bayern München: Neuer; Lahm, Kimmich, Alaba, Bernat; Vidal, Alonso; Robben, Müller, Costa; Lewandowski.
Out: Boateng (adductors), Badstuber (ankle)
Doubtful: Martínez (match fitness), Robben (cold)
Misses next match if booked: Boateng

Juventus: Buffon; Lichtsteiner, Barzagli, Bonucci, Evra; Cuadrado, Khedira, Hernanes, Pogba; Morata, Mandžukić.
Out: Cáceres (Achilles), Marchisio (calf), Dybala (calf), Chiellini (calf)
Doubtful: Mandžukić (groin)
Misses next match if booked: Sturaro

Reminds me of the old story about the kids who killed their parents and threw themselves on the mercy of the court because they were orphans.

This latest FIFA thing is just too wonderful for words. I like lots of European things but stuff like this makes me wonder: is this not an eye-opener over there among the average Giovannis? Or does FIFA do things like this because of the non-Euro influences in the organization?

In fairness, Pique is probably well past the stage where he's just imagining the elaborate lovemaking positions he'll be trying with Shaqira tonight.  Not exactly a high leverage situation for the Blaugrana.
