-Joe Hart is in Turin for a medical...seems that he will sign a 1 yr loan deal with Torino.  His career has taken a sudden & strange turn...

Better to go to a mid-table squad where everyone forgets you, than to go to a mid-table squad and everyone remembers that you are at a mid-table squad...

There's also a whole lot worse places in the world to be for a rich soccer player to play out his career.

At least he can count on 2 clean sheets this year vs Roma @The Gator am I right :excited:

In some strange bizzaro world, Arsene has actually signed a striker, not sure Lucas Perez is the answer but I guess he's better than nothing for them.

I agree.

I think this is just a loan and not a transfer though so he might not be in Italy for the long haul unless they like him enough to purchase him out right.

Also, Jack Wilshere is reportedly being linked to Roma with a one yr loan deal.  That would be sooo Roma.  Him & Scecezny(?) can smoke some #### together in the showers...

So what's the deal with Isco, it seems that every time I watch him play he is creating plays and attacking. I get that Real Madrid are deep but I feel like I must be missing something with the guy, he would be a great addition to the Spurs if they end up getting him on loan.

                                                                               Cristian Erikson doesn't like this

What did Sakho do to piss off Klopp so much? Surely, Chelsea or Arsenal would love to get him on loan this late in the window given the current market.

Tomorrow is transfer deadline day, one of my favorites days of the year. Get out your purple dildo, crack a beer and watch the panic buys rolling in.

Spurs talk:   :bye:  Ryan Mason and thanks for the memories at WHL, enjoy fighting relegation at Hull.  Wanyama seemed to make him expendable.  Mason still has a nice long term upside, but he'd be rotting on the bench at WHL.

So who's coming in now?  Isco seems like a (wet) dream.  Zaha offer was rejected.

fml, about to go play lunch time soccer for the first time since knee surgery in January. I'm hoping of at least 7 on 7 because no way do I survive 4 on 4 :X

Small indoor type field/goals? When we go 4v4 we play it like half court basketball. After a change in possession the team with the ball has to clear it to the half line (or closer. Up to you. We tend to use the tip of the half circle imagined as all the way across). The part that throws most people off is getting someone to jump in net on the fly. It's easy once you do it a couple times. After a little bit people will welcome the break to tend net for a possession. Attacking team always has a guy open so you have to stay disciplined with your shape on D and put pressure 1v1 to open up space when you have the ball. It's a lot more running than it sounds. Even better is if you have odd numbers. Say 7 people total. Then you have 3v3 plus someone in net. Make it, take it. Which ever team gets scored on sends someone to play keeper. Whoever played keeper joins the losing team. That is a cool one because everyone ends up getting shuffled around and you get to play with different people. Unless one team just keeps dominating. Then #### those guys. Break them up.

If Spurs get Isco - they will win the league.  Ergo, ipso facto, Spurs will not get Isco.  But I will develop an irrational man crush in the meantime, and curse his mother by this time tomorrow.

this seems like a simple, fun drill for transition and communication

no, about 1/2 a normal field size. Keep in mind that I'm the only one that is 40, most are mid 20's and in excellent shape. Turned out it was 5v5 and I'm now typing from the grave, I'm gonna get hammered tonight to dull the pain.

lol - I'd like to just stay home and have fun with this stuff tomorrow, if I hadn't recently bumbled my way into an actual full time employment thing that unfortunately carries certain weekday obligations involving being present and sober.
