Two kind of soft red cards back to back games for Atlanta United- managed only 1 pt. Out of it but still seems like a really good start to an expansion season.

who could have ever predicted this?  The coach was forced to say this after he sat out a game with an injury amd was then seen at Disney World at the time of the game :)

===============================

Shenhua coach Gus Poyet has admitted Tevez is still struggling to adapt to his new life in China and asked fans for patience.

For you Atlanta United ticket holders, it looks like 3 games are being rescheduled due to the delay in the new stadium being complete on time.

I'm not worried about where I watch the games. Our seats at Bobby Dodd are great. My worry is the schedule at this point. September will be packed if they push games out. We already have 6 games scheduled then. The stadium issue now has an opportunity to negatively impact the product on the field. That's not good.

The first of the three reschedules games does have a date.  It is one day earlier a Saturday instead of Sunday.  But the cool part is that Fox (the mothership) intends to broadcast that game.

The other two have not yet been rescheduled (I assume they have to work around conflicts at Bobby Dodd).

If it was going to be Bobby Dodd they would have announced that. My guess is the Dome or Turner Field which has now been converted to football for Georgia State.

Apparently season ticket holders will get a credit for these three games as well. I believe our last credit was $2/seat/game. Tough to issue a credit now that I've paid in full though.

Neuer broke his foot in the match against Real.  Looks like he will be out for the rest of the season.

Five league matches to go, and an eight point lead.  It shouldn't be too much of an issue. I hope.
The Pokal semi match against Dortmund next week could be tough though.

Germany's next match in WC qualifying is in June against San Marino, so no real issue there.

Hopefully he is back to full strength by the September match against Czech Republic.

My new working definition of "conflicted" is learning that Barron Trump is a full kit %^&*@! who wears the entire kit out to have a kickaround on the White House lawn, but also realizing it's an Arsenal kit.

I think they are on different levels - i.e. Spurs ladies play a level below Arsenal ladies - but I can't swear to that.

ETA - Arsenal Ladies play in the Women's Super League, Spurs Ladies play in the Women's Premier League

And the update everyone has been waiting for:  Spurs Ladies remain unbeaten in the Women's Premier League, and with 3 games remaining, they have already clinched the Women's Premier League South Division.  They face Blackburn Ladies, winners of the North Division, in a playoff for promotion to Women's Super League 2 - still a level below Arsenal, and the other elite Women's clubs.

Holy crap.

====================================

The guy arrested for the bombing of the Dortmund bus was found to have had bought a large number of so-called put options for shares of Borussia Dortmund. These would have entitled him to sell the 15,000 shares at a pre-determined price, which could have resulted in a substantial profit if their value had fallen in the meantime, prosecutors said.

"A significant share price drop could have been expected if a player had been seriously injured or even killed as a result of the attack," they said.

TOP FOUR #####ES!

:(

Sad news out of Tottenham. Ugo Ehiogu, former Aston Villa player, and current U23 manager for Spurs, collapsed yesterday at the training center with a cardiac arrest.  He was rushed to the hospital, but sadly passed away last night.  He was 44.

RIP

Never seen this list before.  Surprised Man City is that high.

@Jaysus Leeds out of the playoffs on goal diff with three to play. At Burton this weekend, I think. Also, rumors floating that Southampton is sniffing around our boy Jansson in case they don't buy Sakho with the Virgil money from Liverpool.
