And Rooney's fee of 10m waived to clear the way for him to go to Everton.BBC reporting that United have agreed to a 75M fee for Lukaku.

Yeah, big whiff on my part.Belotti is the only other option.
I'm hoping for him or Aubameyang. Wont be disappointed with Morata either.Belotti is the only other option.
Old School! Looked almost like my old Patrick Mexicos! The goal is nice and all, but the best part of this goal is the black boots: https://streamable.com/pucmw

Still funny that black boots are now the outlier now. I think we discussed earlier in the thread too...Old School! Looked almost like my old Patrick Mexicos!

my favorites... happy to see they're still around- but the black sole is throwing me off.Still funny that black boots are now the outlier now. I think we discussed earlier in the thread too...
COPA MUNDIAL
they make kids wear shin guards, right?Of course, if Seba really wants to channel the 11 year old Scooby look, he needs to play with his socks down and no shin guards.
I think I was around 12 or 13 when they started making them mandatory. Maybe younger. I remember going out and getting the Sockguard thingy where it was soft shin pad sewed into a saddle sock because that was what was cool. That lasted about 2 weeks before I got the cheapest, smallest little plastic POS's I could play with.they make kids wear shin guards, right?
I got into an argument with my old college team-mate, now NYCFC doctor about them. he claimed they were useless. I took the opposite approach. during the argument I realized who I was talking to and who might be better qualified to comment on such things and immediately tried to change the subject... "look- BOOBS!"
I eventually got a little fancy and went with Diadorras with the orange trim. And that awful fold over tongue because my first touch wasn't ***** enough already.patrick kangaroo kegans ftw
Copas are my go to now that Kappas are almost impossible to find state-side.Still funny that black boots are now the outlier now. I think we discussed earlier in the thread too...

I think I ended up with the smallest ones too. didn't like the stirrups, even though padding on the ankles was nice.I think I was around 12 or 13 when they started making them mandatory. I stopped playing around high school, but I don't remember ever getting hurt as a kid. Not even a stinger on the shins. I then played in an adult league when I was around 40. I got studded in the knee 3 minutes in and my knee blew up like a softball. Getting old sucks.
Maybe Batshuyai can play? Chelsea paid 40 mil. Euros for him.I'm hoping for him or Aubameyang. Wont be disappointed with Morata either.
Ironically, there is not another thread on this.not sure what this is related too but Keisuke Honda has been training with USL club Orange County SC the last week or so..
I've really loved having Diego at Chelsea, but I think he's been working a return to Spain for some time now. Whatever they end up getting for him is probably going to be a somewhat depressed price since its known he wants out and that he only has one destination in mind. The club should hopefully get its money back, but regardless, they had a great run with him - 2 tiles in 3 years and a ton of great entertainment. As for Costa to AM, heard this morning that he may be willing to sit out 6 months to force the move since they can't bring him in until January anyway. How did his relationship with Chelsea/Conte rot that far with winning a title?
He'd improve an already quality side, even if he doesn't play until January. As long as he's CL eligible, that'd be fine by me.I've really loved having Diego at Chelsea, but I think he's been working a return to Spain for some time now. I hope he stays buried on their depth chart. His challenge to break Aleix Vidal was one of the more reckless I have seen....and he didn't even get called for a foul.I am a bit bitter about Theo Hernández going to Real, although his brother, Lucas, is staying at Atlético. Both came through the Atleti academy.
No its Fernando not Sebastian. He played on the 2014 Colombian World Cup squad.I'm not sure I can keep my Quinteros straight. Is that the Colombian who was so awesome in the 2015 U-20 World Cup?
The rumors are very strong. I fully expect to see him flicking snots at Sergio Ramos come January. He'd improve an already quality side, even if he doesn't play until January. As long as he's CL eligible, that'd be fine by me.
It will be a more boring league without him. I love the ****-stirrers. Even if I knew there was a like a 75% chance he'd bait some idiot on Arsenal into a red card. The rumors are very strong. I fully expect to see him flicking snots at Sergio Ramos come January.
I'll miss you Diego, you great big beautiful stragely-old-looking-yet-juvenile-acting Spanish-Brazilian warrior *******!
santino quaranta, no?I'm not sure I can keep my Quinteros straight. Is that the Colombian who was so awesome in the 2015 U-20 World Cup?
I am still the only person who remembers Giorgio Chinaglia identifying him as the future of American soccer in the 2006 World Cup studio show. I like to think of him as an idiot since he tortured my beloved Dips.santino quaranta, no?
I remember watching some early game of his- maybe with the youth nats?- where he did one play... one... and I saw a glimpse of something fantastic for the US. but then... yeah.I am still the only person who remembers Giorgio Chinaglia identifying him as the future of American soccer in the 2006 World Cup studio show. I like to think of him as an idiot since he tortured my beloved Dips.

Costa v Kolscielny was always fun, as was Costa v Skrtl. Perhaps the highlight game of his time at Chelsea was the masterpiece game in which he put Gabriel on tilt for the red card and Kolscielny body-slammed Costa like Trump on CNN. There's no one like Diego in England anymore. It will be a more boring league without him. I love the ****-stirrers. Are Quinteros Brazilian, they might not be able to keep themselves straight? -NSFW- Probably don't want to click on it either way. Read the url..you'll get the gist.

ESPN has scheduled its next “30 for 30” documentary, and soccer fans will probably want to mark their calendars.
Got a gify on this one? I think I missed it.I hope he stays buried on their depth chart. His challenge to break Aleix Vidal was one of the more reckless I have seen....and he didn't even get called for a foul.

that should be great.
I think Newly Retired is your best bet to get this question answered. Hes our resident MLS expert. The rest of us are Liverpool fans.It looks more and more like Orlando City will acquire Juan Quintero. I am pretty much a novice to the sport .I started watching and going to games when the Lions joined MLS 3 years ago. Will he be enough to turn Orlando's season around and what would he bring to the team?I hope the rumor is true Orlando can use all the help they can get now before the season really gets away from them.It is supposed to be announced by the end of the week according to this guy. https://twitter.com/BD_ESPN/status/882803819863834625
He is a very good player and the prototype player that has excelled in MLS in recent years (young, latin, and attacking minded). It looks more and more like Orlando City will acquire Juan Quintero. Thanks I really hope he can be a difference maker.I am really enjoying this game. Its been a long time since I have yelled at the tv during a sporting event.Soccer has brought that back and of course being a OCSC fan.He is a very good player and the prototype player that has excelled in MLS in recent years (young, latin, and attacking minded).
That being said, how any one player adapts to MLS is impossible to guess. The combination of the extreme weather (both ways), the turf, the travel and the overall high fitness level of the league makes for strange variables that most other leagues do not have to deal with when trying to decide whether a player will flourish or not.
you have a fun team down there, enjoy it.Thanks I really hope he can be a difference maker.I am really enjoying this game. Its been a long time since I have yelled at the tv during a sporting event.Soccer has brought that back.
Sadly unlike the NBA, watching the Revs and DC battle it out to see who gets to draft first is highly unsatisfyingGood news guys! DCU is apparently in on some Bolivian guy with like 10 starts in the Chilean league! Can't go wrong with that pedigree!
