Still trying to find a premier league team. I tried Chelsea a few years ago but it didn’t stick. I love playing with Liverpool in Fifa but I dunno. I like their song too but I don’t get excited for them
If you're looking just for a fun team to watch and Liverpool doesn't excite you by how they play..w00000f.

only team around just as likely to score 5 goals, or give up 5 goals.

as a neutral, they're a blast to watch the last couple years.

and if we're giving up on Man United because they're the "yankees"... same could be said for the rest of the top 6/7. a lot of money spent on players in that group.

and fulham.

but not Spurs...

For the full junkie, ESPN+ has picked up the Dutch Eredivisie, Chinese Super League and the A League (Australia)
Dam ESPN is trying to go all in. I was kind of sold with Serie A so I don't have to find some stream online or go to the bar because my cable package only carried BEINSports on HD but with ESPN getting the rights and now adding this I might have to take up the offer even though I'm trying to save money right now

538 Predictions  :oldunsure:

  1. Man. City
  2. Liverpool
  3. Tottenham
  4. Chelsea
  5. Arsenal
  6. Man. United
I like folks predicting United out of the top-4.  I’m 100% biased but I just don’t see it.  Jose has been a #### from day 1 - these guys are used to it.  Having said that, these top 6 all spend a lot and are really talented so outside of City finishing first I’m not sure any 2-5 finish combination would be shocking.

took a spin through the Chelsea reddit page today and am now convinced Kovacic will win the ballon dor. He didn’t play today and didn’t start for Croatia or RM, but apparently is the midfielder we’ve been lacking for years now.

Is it okay if I root for Liverpool because of the Red Sox connection?

Also is it fair to compare the Revs to the Buffalo Bills with winless championships?
find what ever connection works for you when choosing a team.

As your second question indicates, sometimes being stuck with the local team is less than thrilling.  The Revs are one of the worst run organizations in the league.  They are so poorly run, they have poisoned the league for the famously parochial locals who just assume MLS every where looks like it does in Gillette.

How are the revs so poorly run in comparison to the patriots?

Revs have the worst stadium in the league(now that DC is out of RFK).  Bad location for the sports demographics, worst turf in the league, terrible size for the team, no sense of ever feeling at home because the stadium is 100% for the Pats.

Revs have the worst training facilities in the league, almost to the point of embarrassment when you look at the world class facilities other teams are building all over the country.

Revs spend less on their academy than at least 75% of the league

Revs perennially spend less on the first team than almost any team in the league, including both players and coaches.

Arthur Blank, owner of the incredibly popular Atlanta team, gave an interview during the All Star game asking what the teams philosophies were and he basically threw shade right at Kraft, roughly saying "this is not complicated stuff.  You over reach for a coach and spend money up and down the organization and fans will respond", which is 100% the opposite of Kraft's philosophy as he believes in spending only what the current revenue says he should.

I’m in on Liverpool. This is exciting. All your other teams can go die.

Welcome, brother. Just had a fantastic breakfast with the boys at the local LFC bar. Met up with the MLS in Austin leadership team in anticipation of a Council vote (for real) Wednesday morning. Perfect soccer a.m.

Philly just keeps beating NE right now. The Union beat the NE Revs owned by Robert Kraft (Which makes it even more sweet when we win) 3-2. Jack Elliot the CB had 2 goals in the first half and Fafa Picault added a PK on a stupid play by the Revs defender handling the ball in the box. Picault picked up a YC and is suspended for next weeks match do to YC accumulation. Mark McKenzie didn't play do to his injury. Austin Trusty keeps getting better and better by the week. The union now have 6 goals in the last 2 matches outscoring their opponent 6-2.

Been cool with Ellliot up to this point but Leonardo and Maldin WTF are you doing with Manuel Locatelli here?

Locatelli's transfer formula to Sassuolo involves a €2m loan with a €12m obligation to purchase at the end of the season. [Corriere della Sera]

As the transfer window reaches its last week, Leonardo is busy working on the final sales and arrivals. There will be at least 2 new purchases by the end of the week. [Corriere dello Sport]

Milan continue to monitor the situation of Anthony Martial at United, as he fits the profile of a winger who can also play as a second striker. [Repubblica]

Adrien Rabiot has refused a contract renewal at PSG. [l’equipe]

Bakayoko to Milan is a done deal. Medical will take place tomorrow

Bakayoko will join Milan on loan with option to buy, the total cost of the deal is €40M. Soon he will arrive in Milano [Gianluca Di Marzio]

Milan have offered €18M+Bacca to sign Villarreal winger Samu Castillejo. Proposed deal formula is loan with obligation to buy. However, Villarreal rejected the offer as they want €25M without any technical counterparts [Gianluca Di Marzio]
