oh wow.  The bone head who got decked by Sam Kerr can not be arrested as protocol dictates in these situations.  The law stipulates something called "Designated Matches" but the law was never updated to include women's matches as "designated" for pitch invaders.

Whoops :)

Any way we can get a massive Covid outbreak in Newcastle that lasts until the January transfer window? Maybe airlift ManU over the training facility and parachute them in?

they're no Zlat, that's for sure.

We all know who Zlatan is and he never stayed at one place too long either because of issues at the club or manager change etc. A lot has to do with the agent. However he's not a snake like CR7 who pretends he loves you club then runs off. Everyone knows the famous story that Ibra didn't even want to leave Milan the first.

Maybe United should let Lingard go check out the facilities to see if he wants to make a move there in Jan?  Early recruiting trip?

“Oh hiya Mr. Lingard. No need for that pesky mask. Wouldn’t want you to be uncomfortable! (backslap) Before you meet the lads, mind snorting these lines of pepper?”
Norwich:  Make sure you taste everything too- including the doorknobs. The strawberries taste like strawberries. The snozzberries taste like snozzberries!
Lingard: Snozzberries? Who ever heard of a snozzberry?
Norwich: We are the music makers... and we are the dreamers of dreams.

EPL turning into a bit of a covid cluster#### right now.

Man United v. Brighton already postponed from this upcoming weekend - in addition to the games canceled this mid-week.

It might be time for the league to put a pause on things while teams go back to more stringent rules, and get this under control.  At this rate, they are going to be playing behind closed doors before too long.

I just mentioned in the US thread... 3 unnamed CHelsea 1st team players tested positive, along with already quarantined Kova.

So, Ipswich Town sacked Paul Cook after a pretty disheartening run of form. They’re not completely out of it but they weren’t improving. That said, I think maybe it was unrealistic to think Ipswich Town would just waltz into the Championship but that seems like what supporters were expecting.

Anyway, Frank Lampard is one of the main names being mentioned to take over
Looks like it will be Kieren McKenna. Do any of the ManU contingent here (or others more knowledgeable than me which is everyone) have any thoughts on this hire?

This is a bit concerning. I didn't see the match as I was at work and will watch it tomorrow morning at some point off from work. However Mike Deane was the main Ref for Liverpool vs Newcastle tonight's match. Deane's sons are Liverpool season ticket holders.

So how do you let someone who has family that are season ticket holders of one club ref? Apparently there was a few questionable calls in the match (again didn't see it so can't comment further yet) that favored Liverpool. This just shows how far the corruption will go in the EPL and it's a sin that no one in the Futboll world wants to talk about the epic EPL corruption. Just curious how the F this happens.

Back when I was younger the Phillies had a pitcher named Randy Wolf who had a fan group called the wolf Pack who were a bunch of cops from our minor league area who created the fan club as they followed Wolf for his career. Anyway Randy's brother Jim Wolf was an umpire in MLB. MLB had a rule in place where Jim could be part of an umpire crew during Phillies games but he couldn't be the Home Plate ump if Randy his brother was pitching.

Happy Birthday Milan Athletic Club. Founded on this date in 1899. 101 looks great on yeah. Been enjoying the posts on Milan twitter reminiscing some of the big moments in the clubs history. So glad do to a streaming channel someone put on here I could watch some of those full matches.

No questionable calls. A Newcastle player  laid down in the penalty box hoping the ref would stop play, Liverpool scored, and Newcastle whined. The player wasn’t really hurt, he was back at it and played the rest of the game. You play until the whistle blows, it didn’t blow, and he wasn’t hurt.

Yeah, this was it. Plus Newcastle players were irate that Liverpool players didn’t voluntarily stop play even though they themselves played through when there was an injured player in the game against Burnley.

I’m not saying there’s no bad calls that go against Newcastle or there isn’t shenanigans in the EPL. But I’m not into this EPL Q-anon thing. It’s pretty clear my Magpie brother DJax brings his Philly style ref-bashing into Newcastle discussions.

@90min_Football

Christian Eriksen's contract has been terminated by Inter Milan this afternoon. Pacemaker's have been banned in Serie A which means he won't be able to compete in Italy.

Nah it's been this wya in the EPL for yrs. Not just a Newcastle thing. The Big 6 always get the calls. Its why they tried to get in the super league so clubs like Newcastle and such couldn't get new owners and make a threat to their top 6 places.

It's all of FIFA and UEFA. I wasn't happy my Milan entered the Super League but I know they and Inter had a legit case vs UEFA/FIFA do to the rules on FFP where the committee picks and choses who follows rules.

Then the EPL has about 3 teams or so at the top owned with legit ties to PIF Saudi and Chelseas owner with ties to human/child sex trafficking in a circle of names like Trump/Maxwell/Prince Andrews/Epstien and the league is really hush on it.

NBCSports must be scrambling with no 10 am matches now.

@AVFCOfficial: Aston Villa can confirm that today’s Premier League fixture with Burnley has been postponed due to an increased amount of positive Covid-19 test results within our playing squad.

Interesting that it's just EPL (for now). La Liga, bundie, serie A...all appear to be still on.

As is replay of US v Mex in the gold cup final heading into 2nd half of ET on FS1

I know no one is watching this (FS1) but why does the Tunisian national team have trucker ladies on their jerseys, I just need to know

Finally meeting Milan club Philly tomorrow for the match so exited. This only happened because the Eagles game I won tickets too moved to Tues. I was very firm with work I had originally requested off tomorrow prior to winning the TIX and wanted to keep this date because I had plans already I could still do. They weren't happy but honestly not my fault they don't have the help and it'd be nice if my boss worked a Sunday every once in awhile.

wait... what happened? I was watching on my phone and my stupid wife called right at the end, so I stopped watching.
Tunisia pushed everyone forward on a corner, including the goalie.  Algeria cleared to a player who walked it in to make it 2-0.  Game over - no restart after the goal.

This deserved a LOL emoji but Joe decided to take it away? Doesn't mrs Floppo understand you have soccer to watch and shouldn't be interrupting?

One of the blessing being single I guess.
