I can not make out Baloney players on the far sideline in this foggy match with Juvie.
That was funIf any of you watch baseball and follow Jomboy, you'll already know how great he is. But here's a breakdown of an incident between Duke and UCLA soccer.

Great win over Atalanta. Forza Roma! Love, love, love the Tammy Abraham signing.

Refs got 1 of 3 right.Saw the Liverpool v Spurs highlights.
Robertson- clear red.
Kane- clear red.
Joto- clear PK
Also missed Salah hand ball in lead up to goal, Matip bundling over Winks in the box.Refs got 1 of 3 right.
All 3 decisions favored Spurs.
Matip incident wasn't in the box. They played advantage. Also missed Salah hand ball in lead up to goal, Matip bundling over Winks in the box.
Both decisions favored Liverpool.
And this tackle by Robbo on Tanganga wasn’t even called a foul let alone a Red Card.
So stop the whining about Kane.

no. I think Kane’s was a foul, and if VAR had told Tierney to have a look on the monitor, it probably would have been red - due to the slo-mo.![]()
because it wasn't a foul?
fwiw.. are you claiming- like Kane, who swears on his daughter's life- that he got ball?
fwiw2- I have no bone in this game- complete neutral.
Here is a lot more detail. Infantino won't commit to a vote just yet in March according to this article.FIFA is expected to vote in March to hold the WC every 2 years.
I can't believe they took the near perfect format of 32 teams every 4 years and are going to create a 48 (or more) team tournament every 2 years if the vote succeeds.
Qualifying is one of the best parts of the WC cycle. So much qualifying in the future is going to be reduced to knock out style games as that will be the only way to par the teams down fast enough for a 2 year cycle.
Every small country is likely to vote for this as it is being sold in terms of money money money.

umm...Infantino is the driving force behind it. He is doing everything possible to buy the votes of the vast majority of the smaller countries who need the money to give him the majority votes..Glad Infantino thinks this is a bad idea. From time to time he still makes us Italians proud.
So effectively this is UEFA and COMNEBOL vs AFC and CAF.Here is a lot more detail. Infantino won't commit to a vote just yet in March according to this article.

Breaking: The time has finally come for CBS to put men’s Champions League knockout games on the big network. Six round of 16 games will be there, with one-hour pregame shows for each broadcast.
So effectively this is UEFA and COMNEBOL vs AFC and CAF.
I do think the fact that you need 5-10 countries (US, Mexico, England, Italy, Germany, Spain, France, Japan, China and then maybe Russia) willing to host 48 clubs (that's a lot of teams to host logistically) every 2 years gets glossed over. There's a handful of countries willing and wanting to do that.

Italian Financial Police executes search at the Inter headquarters. Investigation into false statements made by Inter related to capital gains between 2017-2019
As a fan of F1 and Soccer, I came across this headline at World Soccer Talk: F1’s boom in the US and its lessons for soccer leagues
I thought, that should be interesting.
After slogging through the article - the conclusion:
"There’s only so much that other leagues can learn from F1’s boom. Ultimately, an F1 Grand Prix is more like a golf or tennis Grand Slam or a WWE pay-per-view than a soccer match."
So basically, there was nothing there, but they decided it was worth an article to point out there was noting there. Thanks.
You misread the post. 6 of the 16 games are on the mother ship CBS, not CBS Sports Network. It's only gonna be on CBS sports network nothing on actual CBS
Having flashbacks to March 2020 when I was trying to find livestreams of Belarusian games to bet on.Never thought I'd see the day when ESPN is promoting a Carabao Cup quarterfinal on their bottom line

Who? Oh that one non former United player that Jose promoted to be his assistant coach and was kept on by Ole?Looks like it will be Kieren McKenna. Do any of the ManU contingent here (or others more knowledgeable than me which is everyone) have any thoughts on this hire?
I hate everything about this. Partly as someone who played in UCLA's conference, losing 4-1, 4-0, 6-0 and winning 4-3, F UCLA. I also hate Duke because they are Duke.If any of you watch baseball and follow Jomboy, you'll already know how great he is. But here's a breakdown of an incident between Duke and UCLA soccer.

Agreed. I went to a match in fall 2019 and the stadium was less impressive than I thought it would be. The seats were very tight with little leg room. I thought the Bernabeu was a better stadiumWas glad to be able to get to a match at the San Siro (0-0 obv) back in 2018, but the stadium is somewhat showing its age

I saw a few Inter games when I briefly lived there in the late 80s during one of both Inter and Milan's magical seasons. Loved it. Got to walk on the pitch after watching the last game of the season.Agreed. I went to a match in fall 2019 and the stadium was less impressive than I thought it would be. Salary is said to be $13m per year plus additional performance bonus's according to Fabrizio Romano. This would be by far the largest contract ever for an MLS player.Michael Singh

Toronto FC and Lorenzo Insigne have agreed to terms, per sources. He'll join TFC this summer
when the legit Italians first started coming to MLS from Serie A, I wondered why- and then was shocked at how little they make comparatively. Insigne is still a massive star- of course, pushing towards the end of his playing days as a 30yo.Salary is said to be $13m per year plus additional performance bonus's according to Fabrizio Romano. The current highest paid player is Vela at $6.3m
I just want to say that the above quote was a joke, ManU showed up yesterday under their own volition, and I have an attorney on retainer.Any way we can get a massive Covid outbreak in Newcastle that lasts until the January transfer window? Maybe airlift ManU over the training facility and parachute them in?
