Having a very big week... (Did quick math so may not be 100%)

Rodgers 30.9

DWill 29.1

Rice 23.5

VJax 22.4

Bess 11.6

Nicks 7.8

Dallas 33.3

Olsen 32.6

Gould 3

Seattle 17

211.2

Still have DJax and Jeff Reed... Also had Carlson's 13.2 go to waste.

I'm at 140.8 with very little left, what are the chances that the cut-off stays below that? Right now, it's projected at 135.50. :football:

At 130.4 with only Sam Hurd (-6.30), Mewelde Moore (-8.10), and Matt Prater (-14.00) that can help me out.

It just doesn't look possible.... :football:

I'm sweating it for the first time since week 1, but still have 136 and D. Jackson and McCoy basically minus zero. Thank you Dallas Clark or this would be very very ugly.

After the day games and the preliminary corrections, TFS has us at about 127 right now. I'd suspect the preliminary projection of 135ish is not going to hold up, probably more like 140 or so. I'll try to get some Dodds projections dumped in to see what things look like.

My WRs today were Chris Henry and Mason. Thanks for nothing guys, with Boldin out and Berrian on bye im down to the wire again. Have about 130 with Marty B (-13) Prater (-13) Choice (-9) Felix (-9) and Steelers D (-8)

Not feeling confident at all right now

Actually looks like the 135 number may hold up. We're at about 130 right now, and the MNF projected scores are only bumping things about 3.5 points. As scores from tonight add up, the MNF factor should diminish even more.

Sitting at 134 with Celek and Roy Williams still playing. Looks like I'll need another catch or two.

Pittsburgh D (-12) my only other hope.

My three starting WR's this week were Roddy, Colston, and Mason who scored 5.9, 5.5 and 6.6 respectively. But I still survived. DWill, Addai, DClark and Olindo Mare carried my team this week. Clark has scored for my squad every week except for their bye....

Another permanent zero for the rest of the contest (probably) for the 1144 still alive owners who have Chris Henry...Reportedly a Broken arm today. :(
I need Henry to tape it up and get back out there!

Dallas Clark :(

Unreal.

The refs somehow can't see a football is incorrectly spotted by almost a yard on a plain as day QB sneak. This with the use of state of the art HD technology? Just unreal. Not saying it would have changed the end result, but it certainly was a major player.

Then it slowly dawns on me that the Eagles refusal to target DeSean could loom large, as I hadn't seen any of my FBG team WRs doing anything.

A quick tally leaves me at 132.6 with only Jeff Reed (-8) left to give me any shot to survive. I figure I probably need ~ a 15 point performance from a kicker. No big deal, right? And this with Ladell Betts finally giving me the bonus production he was on the roster for.

Hakeem Nicks 7.8

Derek Mason 6.3

Nate Washington 6.0

Marques Colston 5.5

DeSean Jackson 4.9

Seriously? Not one of these guys could manage even a 10 point game? Unreal.

Come on Denver Defense ... lots of Steeler drives that stall between the 23 and 35ish.

I just realized that I have no kicker this week... :goodposting:

Should've paid attention to BYE weeks for kickers. I deserve to get axed this week for that.

now for the QG  post of the week :)

Thankfully (I guess) the entry that got knocked out in week one finally has confirmed its true inferiority as it's done at 120.3.

It has been comically decimated.

The bad news of source, keeping me in  mode is that the theoretical entry that I didn't go with (the soulless pseudo-scientific one) is still going strong(ish) - done at 158.9. This entry does sport 7 guys who either are done with injury or in that LJ permabench sorta category.

Good luck to those who are really moving on and those on the bubble this week :)

Bye Henry.. have fun with Leon Washington, Laurent Robinson, and Owen Daniels. Got by this week... but if they keep dropping like this... it won't be much longer.

Thought Chambers was dead money until yesterday. See you next week. No major byes (1 TE, 1 Def and 1 WR). My roster is deep and very consistent (average 160 pts) but I don't expect to win.

We have a Sammie Stroughter sighting!

I'm now further then I have ever been in 4 years of playing this contest. :tinfoilhat:

And i just finished with my highest total of the year. Team don't fail me now!

If I can get Britt or Butler to step up for the loss of Chris Henry, that would make me feel better. Not that I have been relying on Henry's scores each week, mind you.

I think the teams that go far in this thing will have the dark horses leading the way. One bad week from top guys, like Rodgers, Clark, Moss, etc., and my team will be in trouble.

I'm through, but starting to realize that my team lacks the top end scoring likely needed to win the whole thing.
I'm in the same boat. Wouldn't surprise me that I make it to top 250 but not posting hugh scores..
Same here. My team is almost always in the top half of scoring, but rarely very close to the top. So I have a decent shot at the 250, but almost no shot at making any noise beyond that.

Sitting at 143.6 for the week.

If the projections hold up and I make it through I'm in trouble next week after losing another WR (Chris Henry - who was my highest priced) for the rest of the season and Nicks on bye.

Glad I don't need big points from Romo this week. All the more for next week from Romo, right?
Thats what I am hoping. All I can say, thank god for Miles Austin. Without the emergence of him, Romo seemed shakey at best. Now I am happy to be one of the few teams left that have Romo. Now, only if the Chiefs can hand the ball to J. Charles for more than 9 rushes, maybe I might have a chance in this contest.

Still hanging in there and losing only Ahmad Bradshaw to byes in week 10.

QB - Drew Brees - 35

QB - Matthew Stafford - 11

QB - Matt Leinart - 4

RB - Brian Westbrook - 34

RB - Ray Rice - 21

RB - Leon Washington - 12

RB - Ahmad Bradshaw - 8

RB - LeSean McCoy - 7

RB - James Davis - 2

WR - Anthony Gonzalez - 26

WR - DeSean Jackson - 24

WR - Derrick Mason - 9

WR - Percy Harvin - 5

WR - Greg Camarillo - 4

WR - Kenny Britt - 2

WR - Brandon Stokley - 2

WR - Laurent Robinson - 2

TE - Dallas Clark - 18

TE - Jermichael Finley - 3

PK - Stephen Gostkowski - 5

PK - Ryan Longwell - 3

TD - Pittsburgh Steelers - 7

TD - Minnesota Vikings - 6

I've lost Leon Washington, James Davis, Anthony Gonzalez, Laurent Robinson, and Jermichael Finley to injuries. I expect to get Finley back in a couple weeks, and if I progress that far I might see Gonzalez in 3 or 4 weeks. Oh and I lost Kenny Britt to a QB change.

Looks like the most dangerous single player for bumping the cut with a big game is FWP. Not that I'd expect this from him, but if he were to do well, there are over 200 at risk rosters that stand to benefit from his points. The only other 100+ at risk team players are PIT D and Reed, but both of them appear to be covered a bit by some decent existing scores. For the most part, players aren't very widely held otherwise, and those that do own them are predominantly on the good side to begin with.

157.2. Survived another week. I'm amazed I've lasted this long and I still don't expect to be around much longer but I keep having somebody unexpected step up and save me. This week it was Meachem and Pettigrew. My three TE strategy has worked out well and the Rodgers/Schaub combo at QB has been gold.

ETA: Week 10 could spell doom for me. With Schaub, Bradshaw and Nicks out, C. Henry joining Robinson and Washington on the sideline and L. White and Norwood not producing at all I'm going to be very short-handed.
