Aaron Rodgers is currently a high priced mistake so far as Lefty has outscored him both weeks for me.

GB Lefty and Hightower, both have been $$$ for me the first two weeks.

Is there a link to preliminary stats/scoring for players?

I just registered over there, but I can't get the activation code until I get home. Can someone else check my team for me? Is that possible?

Cool, no problem. It looks like there are three others in the "awaiting activation" state. If anyone else is having troubles, you can PM me and I will push it through.

I am at 129.65 with Bess going tonight. Need a decent game by him and maybe I will get throw to week 3.

Palmer (31.35) and Celek (22.40) actually saved me this week. I had McNabb, and LT out this week and my top WR Eddie Royal has been a bust thus far

I knew my wr's were bad, but this is ridiculous. 25.7 points this week, 35.2 points last week, but have made the cut easily each week. By 30ish points week 1 and around 50 points this week. Have used 15 different players through 2 weeks.

For those of you following your score on tfs.com I wanted to post the score corrections I have noted to the stats service used there. As of this time the corrections are NOT in your TFS totals, so consider these adjustments if you are near the 130 mark at the end of the game tonight. There may be other small errors, but these are the ones I know about...

Arizona DEF ARI -2

Pittsburgh DEF PIT -1

Thomas Pierre RB NO -0.4

Leinart Matt QB ARI -0.3

Russell JaMarcus QB OAK -0.3

Cutler Jay QB CHI -0.2

Jones Julius RB SEA -0.2

Sanchez Mark QB NYJ -0.2

Brees Drew QB NO -0.1

Jones Thomas RB NYJ -0.1

Warner Kurt QB ARI -0.1

Note that these are all subtractions, so if you own these players and they are part of your counted score, they will reduce your total...

See you in Week Three! :lmao:

On the week 2 simulator I was ranked #3 with 99.6% chance to move on. Because my team laid an egg, my chances for survival tonight was 12.6%. I started tonight at 101.4. Dallas Clark has given me life. I am sitting at 124.7. I figure 4 more catches and I might squeek by.

Up to 135.7 thanks to Dallas Clark. Hopefully, the projections hold up. I'd rather squeak by so more teams with like players will feel the Turk's wrath.

very :tfp: I was thinking about this earlier today. Specifically, I'd like to squeak by with my key players having a bad day, making them more unique to my team. My recollection is that past winners have had some nail biter weeks on the way to the finish...

That is a good point. I never really thought of it like that. R. Moss, L. Fitz, D. Clark, T. Romo, and Kevin Smith(Detroit) are my top guys. Only D. Clark had a big game. So I am sure some teams with similar players might have gotten eliminated. I am at 136.2 I hope that is enough.

There may be a some slight discrepancies (hopefully not), but I have the cut at 130.05 with final MNF stats...good luck to all near that number...of course, this is a completely UNOFFICIAL projection, but I think it should be very close.

As a 21 man roste owner (one of whom is Lynch, so effectively a 20 man roster for now), I've always said that a 24 man roster is "safer" and more likely to get a team deeper into the contest, so this isn't surprising to me. There are a lot of $1-$2 guys who are capable of putting up the 10-15 points you need to get by when a stud has a down week or is injured. This is especially true in the first few weeks, when the cuts are relatively low numbers. Going with a smaller roster is a gamble to try and reach weeks 12 and 13 (when the cuts are in the 160's) and the finals with more guys capable of scoring 15-20 points each to have a better shot at first place if you do.

No surprise here, this should put the arguement to rest. In best ball, you want the maximum number of players, it's that simple.

The flaw you had in hindsight was 2 QB's. I made that mistake last year with Warner,Romo and Tony got injured so this year I went with 3.

QB - Aaron Rodgers - 27

QB - Matthew Stafford - 11

QB - Byron Leftwich - 4

RB - Kevin Smith - 30

RB - Ryan Grant - 24

RB - Willie Parker - 16

RB - Ahmad Bradshaw - 8

RB - Bernard Scott - 2

RB - Correll Buckhalter - 2

RB - James Davis - 2

WR - Greg Jennings - 32

WR - Eddie Royal - 26

WR - Chris Henry - 12

WR - Derrick Mason - 9

WR - Percy Harvin - 5

WR - Devery Henderson - 3

TE - Greg Olsen - 15

TE - Jermichael Finley - 3

PK - Robbie Gould - 2

PK - Jeff Reed - 2

PK - Jason Hanson - 1

TD - Baltimore Ravens - 6

TD - Philadelphia Eagles - 5

TD - Green Bay Packers - 3

I beat the cutoff by 4 points. I only drafted 2 QBs, McNabb and Hill. Getting 8 points from Hill each week isn't gonna cut it. McChoke needs to get his butt back in there!!

:lmao: How about we wait until we see the top 250 before we argue about which approach was better.

As I see it the argument was simple - people with 24 argued that it gave their team a better chance to last longer into the contest (thus giving them a better chance of winning) - people with 20 argued that if they make it through they will have the better team in the end (by virtue of having better core starters).

Could be that both sides are right  Its just a risk aversion question.

The flaw you had in hindsight was 2 QB's. I made that mistake last year with Warner,Romo and Tony got injured so this year I went with 3.
:lmao: He averaged 25 points from the QB position. If he added a 3rd, it likely would have been Leftwich (otherwise the rest of his team would suffer significantly). Leftwich would have added 3 points to his score this week and he still would have missed the cut.

Actually - while it might have eventually be a problem - he scored fine at QB in week 2 with Garrard. What undid him was his 2 top WRs coming up really small in Week 2, as well as the 4 NE RB approach really not working out.
