current score for 6100th place is about 97....
"so you're saying there's a chance"
Dude, I found your team and I'll go out on a limb and say you're a lock. Highly unlikely the cut reaches your current score. You're currently in the top 3500, lots of teams need to jump quite a bit to put you at risk.
Nice, that's amazing given my WR/TE production. Hopefully this means my unique score will rise.

I thought I had a chance this week but even with Ryan stepping up I'm toast. My WRs just bombed and I was bitten by only having Scobee.

QB - Aaron Rodgers - 27

This is a great contest and I had a blast!

I am out of it right?

Heading into the afternoon games with Mason getting me 0 and Chris Henry getting me only 12 pts, I had only the following WRs to look forward to:

Colston -- bye

Schilens -- out

Laurent Robinson -- out

Bess -- yuck

Camarillo -- yuck

Eddie Royal -- very yuck

Needless to say, I wasn't thrilled with my chances. Yet, somehow, I'm now sitting with 166 pts and still get to add to it with whatever Bess/Camarillo due as my WR3. Thank you Schaub, Rice, Bradshaw, Daniels, and Hanson.

This will be my first tight week..

sitting at 98.80 with the following to go..

Sanchez (-0.00)

L Washington (-2.40)

according to fantasystar, I'm at 97.8 with Leon Washington (-0) and Davone Bess (-0) tomorrow...... I hope that Reggie Wayne dropped TD on the last drive doesn't end up to be my downfall (I have Manning).

Hoping Manning gets to 300 yds and tacks on a couple garbage points, I know I can use them.

142.5 with Leon Washington going tomorrow despite getting zero's from 11 players. On to next week with a large number of my byes out of the way.

Current 6100 line is between 104 and 105. I'll be doing the TFS projection for the final cut in a couple of minutes on the site.

Looks like about 110-111 if things follow Dodds' expectations for tomorrow's players.

Looks like I survived this brutal bye week, but I'm still not feeling great with all the injuries I have to deal with. One bad week by Rodgers going forward and I may have some problems....

I hear ya... 12 zero's this week on my roster & I'll be comfortably sliding by with 126.4 + everything from Bess & Leon W.I front loaded byes for my key players & most are through.Top 2 QBs now past byesTop 2 RBsTop 2 WRsTop TETop DEFWeek 7 could still be a sticky bye week, but most of my salary cap is now playing every week.

125 points with Camarillo (-1.1) and L Washington (-10.5).

Looks like I'll make it without a QB this week. (Brees, Stafford, and Leinart)

That's after getting a combined 1.1 points from D Mason and Desean J. Thank you Mr. Bradshaw!

I did this pretty quick, so I'm not 100% sure I'm right, but.... I count 758 teams this week with no QB who is projected to score points.
Im about to verify that doug. I have a pretty easy/explicit way to check that....and I am one of the teams without a QB. This gives me (temporary) HOPE! :football:
I'm getting 753, but I'm not 100% sure I have all the "0" QB's in my search. If you add on Hasselbeck to the mix (:crossesfingers:) the number jumps to 1069. Definitely a better week than most to be sporting a zero at QB, and it will still take a toll on the Rodgers owners. 738/1069 or 523/753 teams in this predicament own Rodgers.
Very curious to see how this week turned out for the A.Rodgers owners (& "0" QB rosters) this week.

I had 16 players who put up give or take a goose egg this week, including 6 (Rodgers, Jennings, and Finley, Shockey, Gould, and the Chicago D) on bye, Felix and Parker as two of my top three backs, and Leinart, as expected, still not having the job.

Rodgers bye

Leinart not playing

Willie Parker zilch

Felix Jones zippo

Laurence Maroney 2 points

Greg Jennings bye

Derrick Mason zero

Chansi Stuckey oof

David Clowney yet to play, but terrible

Chris Cooley nada

Jeremy Shockey zero

Jermichael Finley bye

Robbie Gould bye

Sebastian Janikowski 1

Chicago D bye

49ers D allowed 45 points

Still, it looks likely I'll survive, because 5 of the remaining 8 blew up:

Hasselbeck --> 34+

Ray Rice --> 27 points

Leon Washington probably playing if he can beat maroney's 2 points.

Anquan Boldin - 15

Steve Smith (NYG) 15

Nate Burleson 28

Josh Brown 4

Philly D 3 pick, 3 sacks and a safety

That's about 130 points, including precisely zero from the tight end position. I can't believe I may survive this debacle.

QB - Aaron Rodgers - 27

QB - Matt Hasselbeck - 17

QB - Brady Quinn - 9

RB - Ryan Grant - 24

RB - Ray Rice - 21

RB - Chris Wells - 15

RB - Ahmad Bradshaw - 8

RB - Correll Buckhalter - 2

RB - Shonn Greene - 2

RB - James Davis - 2

WR - Greg Jennings - 32

WR - Marques Colston - 28

WR - Vincent Jackson - 21

WR - Nate Burleson - 5

WR - Patrick Crayton - 4

WR - Laurent Robinson - 2

TE - Greg Olsen - 15

TE - Jermichael Finley - 3

PK - Joe Nedney - 2

PK - Phil Dawson - 1

TD - Minnesota Vikings - 6

TD - Green Bay Packers - 3

TD - New Orleans Saints - 1

Thought there was no way I get past this week. Didn't expect Hass to play and figured I'd have no QB with Rogers on a bye. Also left myself with no TE for the week and arguably my three best WRs. I went into the week with only 1 QB 4 RBs 2 WRs and 0 TEs. But I'm feeling much better after games from Hass, Rice, Bradshaw, Burleson and Minny D. Moving on!

pleasanty surprised to go on to thefantasystar.com and see my team at 117.7 ... deangelo williams has been a waste of money. will be nice if i can survive with that stinker garrard threw up (and brees on bye).

how accurate is the projected cut usually?

Man, so my week one bomb entry still would be going if not for that egg at the start :D . Woulda had 135.2 plus more.

Even worse, the theoretical optimal entry that I eschewed would still be alive and north of 150 this week. *sigh* :lmao:

Good luck to the folks sweating out the Turk for real this week :lmao:

The current projection on TFS is the current cutoff plus Dodds projections for tonights game plugged in, CTR is usually within a point or two at most.

A more scientific method is Drinen's sim, which takes a distribution of Dodds' projection. His 50th percentile and my estimate are usually pretty close. If you are above his 100th percentile, you can breathe easy as it would be extremely unusual to have the score top that. Today, 120 is your clear point, but the scoring looks to be fairly stable below 112 with 80% of the sims at that level or lower. Unfortunately, I'm not smart enough to figure out how to do that trick...yet :goodposting:

No one can predict the future. If a couple highly owned players by those near the bottom blows up and puts up 40 points each, it could change things. But given that Miami and the Jets are not exactly teams people loaded up on and that over 90% of the scoring is in the books, the number will be really close. There is probably about in 80% chance that the final result will be with in +/-2 of the projection.

Rodgers owners in general are doing quite well, with 2141 currently in the clear and 583 out. Of the 775 teams with guaranteed "0" at QB this week (I also added the few teams that had Anderson and McCown since they were below 1 point), 431 are currently in, compared to 334 who are not. Looks like the killer QB week was such a great equalizer that it was not a tremendous factor. I'm pretty glad I have basically all my studs done with their byes now (except Witten), that should bode well going forward considering my injury issues.

Plowing through again. Next week will be my roughest with Rodgers alone at QB, and Grant/Bradshaw the only active RBs.
Rodgers alone at QB is rough? Nearly 800 people had no QB this week. Maybe that ended up lower as McNabb and Hasselbeck returned. You should be OK with Grant and Bradshaw at RB. Grant is solid 12 points every week.

God bless you Roddy, Maclin, and Rice...

Not feeling strong about this team but looks like I'll survive my worst bye week.

What a weird week.

127 + Leon Washington (8.8); looks like its on to week 6. Given who is and is not playing for me this week ... I'm stunned.

Starting RB/WR for this week:

Tashard Choice 15.2

Jamaal Charles 8.8

Hakeem Nicks 14.9

Percy Harvin 10.6

Nate Washington 6.7

Benched RB/WR:

DeAngelo Williams

Ryan Grant

Ladell Betts

James Davis

Edgerring James

Marques Colston

DeSean Jackson (WHAT?!?)

Derrick Mason

Chaz Schilens

Laurent Robinson

Another smooth call into the following week. I'm hoping some of the fellow Mason, Colston and DeSaun Jackson weren't as lucky. Not to mention Matt Jones!

Right now I have DWill and Edge as two of my RB's that have put up points. Grant, Colston and Mason, getting nothing this week was rough, but Matty Ice and Roddy White carried me. Grant and Colston were a given but Mason has great the last two weeks with over 20. Here's a question. Who are you every week producers? Who on your squads has counted in the scoring each and every week? Mine are Dallas Clark (not surprising with only Finley there) and Harvin

QB - Matt Schaub - QB - Shaun Hill - QB - Byron Leftwich - OutRB - DeAngelo Williams - RB - Ryan Grant - ByeRB - Marshawn Lynch - RB - Darren Sproles - ByeRB - Leon Washington - RB - Chris Brown - WR - Chad Ochocinco - WR - Vincent Jackson - ByeWR - Donald Driver - ByeWR - Chaz Schilens - OutWR - Sam Hurd - WR - Josh Cribbs - TE - Greg Olsen - ByeTE - Todd Heap - TE - Jermichael Finley - ByePK - Phil Dawson - OutPK - Jason Hanson - PK - Dan Carpenter - TD - Washington Redskins - 3TD - Seattle Seahawks - 2TD - Oakland Raiders - 1
Thought I was out this week. Schaub and special teams to the rescue.

Excluding bye weeks....Rivers, Longwell, D. Williams, Grant and Moss.....Moss and Williams have had some off weeks, so that is an indication that my secondary players suck. The only cheap player I really think I struck gold with is Hakeem Nicks. Of course, E. James 5.8 points may just save my butt this week, so that would make him worth it. But Betts, Davis, Leinart, Meachem, and Baker do not look like they are going to help me much. I wish I had Harvin. I think I did until the last week....On a side note, my flex points have come from RB every week. My WR core is not pulling its weight.

I think alot of people, myself included, have become big Hasselback fans. Him playing was huge for a lot of us.

Chad Ochocinco scored every week for me except week 1 when guys like Crayton blew up for me. Same with Nate Burleson, who scored for me every week except week 2. Brent Celek has scored every week for me besides his bye.

Harvin has scored 4 out of the 5 weeks for me, but outside of that, I've only had the Buf D not score for me at least one week.I've lost Garrard and L. Robinson, but still feel pretty strong, I think my toughest week will be week 7, when Ray Rice and James are out and I have D.Williams, F.Jones, Parker for RB... Mason is off that week also, leaving me with only 5 WR's...

154.10 Points with Kings of Leon, and Bess still to play tonight. McNabb, Westy, Shady, LT, Celek, Finley, Elam's byes all over with is really nice. Although week 7 I i will be without 4 of my 8 WR's (Royal, Mason, Burleson, Gage all on bye's). That will be the week my team gets tested.

Burleson has counted in my score every week. Ryan Grant has also (except for his bye this past week).

Only players I have who haven't counted yet are JaMarcus and Schillens.

MNF sim says I make it through at 5772.

:bwih:

Ugly week, but as a Rodgers owner with Sanchez and Leinart as my backups I knew this one would be tight.
