Amazing, I'm up to 124.70! The week 7 sim had me at 38% of moving on this week. I may just sqeek by this week. and S. Greene just scored again, I think putting me over the 130 mark!
Shonn Greene was one of the few players who hadn't counted for me yet. I do believe that is changing this week. Perfect timing on the Ray Rice bye week.

Moreno and Rice both on byes, and I already have my high score for the year - 179.15 with a few guys still in play.

Greene and Clowney filling in nicely this week.

Yeah, me too. He's got 26.40 points so far this week. Really helping me out. I'm up to 148, I think I'll be advancing this week.

Looks like I am going to be eliminated, but not without a fight.

Washington going out so early crushed me, my second running back score is Michael Bush with a stellar 3.60. And getting a goose egg from the Cleveland D didn't help my cause.

Brees/Shockey at least gave me a chance here.

I am at 114.25 with Anquan Boldin left. I only had 4 active receivers. Ochocinco did his job. Mark Bradley and Chaz Schilens layed eggs, 0 points apiece. If I somehow pull this off it will be a miracle. Hopefully Boldin is feeling alot better.

Gonna be close for me.......but I was expecting as much. I still have what Bradshaw can get me to add to my 124. I "think" I should be good.

I am hoping the cutoff stays low, but tonight concerns me a little with two very solid offenses going. Of course I won't complain if Boldin goes off. Not really sure historically what an average increase in the cutoff is from the afternoon games to the Sunday Night/Monday Night games.

[current cut is] just under 115 after the day games. Haven't run an analysis on how many players are on night game rosters, but my guess is that scores don't go up a whole lot, and I think Turk's estimate of mid-high 120's is still reasonable

Edited to add current cut wording. Just realized that the statement I put in there could have been interpreted to be my team...

:X With all the 40+ pt days by NFL teams, I thought the cut would surely be in the upper 130's.Sitting at 133.6 with Bradshaw (-5.6) and DeJax (-4.3), I'm feeling much better now that I've seen this latest update.Amazing. Simply amazing. 4 guys (Rogers, DWill, Grant & VJax) account for 101.8 of that total. Five others make up the rest with a goose egg from the PK (friggin Dawson injury).A repeat performance of last week from Bradshaw tonight would make me sleep a lot better.

Around 130 with Ahmad (-0.6) and DeSean (-4.3)... Losing Leon going forward hurts my RB depth, but hopefully DeAngelo/Rice can carry me.

I am very curious to see the projected cut-off after tonight's game.

I am at 108.2 with Betts (-0) and S. Moss (-0) to fill out my points on MNF. I also have Randle El (-13.10) to go. It is doable depending on the cut off.

How is S Moss (-0) and Randel El (-13.1)?

It sounds like the 125 is pretty good number. I would not expect it to go more than 2 points in either direction. BTW, how is Randle El -13.10 but S. Moss is -0?

Projected cut: 125

Currently at 120.20 with Beanie Wells (-0.00) and Celek (-4.50).

Only had 2 RBs today (Wells and L Washington), got a 0 from my kicker position, and yet I somehow may be able to squeak this one out.

Thank you Denver D (20), Clowney (18.10), Housh (33.80), and Rodgers (32.60).

Not me, but I would guess that he expects Moss to outscore ARE. Moss replaces a zero and the 13.1 is the next score to be replaced. As for me, I much prefer being well above the cut like this week to the squeek by from 2 weeks ago. Although losing LW does make thinks tougher in the next weeks ahead

The only thing I can figure is there is one WR spot open (-0) and the next spot is at -13.1....so he assumes S. Moss will outscore Randel El, so Randel El will have to score more than 13 to count.

It's looking dire for me. Currently at 112.6 with Bradshaw, Nicks and DJax still to go. Most of the points for all three of these should count though.

Makes sense. I didn't have any false hope about sailing through to next week with a boat load of byes. This is my sweat week. :fingerscrossed:

That's correct.

Losing Randy Moss next week is my only significant bye loss for the rest of the season. But with Shaun Hill probably regulated to the bench, I will have to have Rivers perform every week. But it is good to be still alive going into week 8.

Shonn Greene of all people saving my bacon. At ~140 with DeSean and Celek -5. Survived the byes of Knowshon and Royal who are my 2nd and 3rd most expensive players. Can't believe I'm still alive with my squad. I'm pretty unique too, but I suspect it's because I picked the wrong players.

Darn. I was cruising through this contest, and will make it through this week, but I'll probably be at ~20% in the sim next week with no QB - S. Hill was my bye weeker. He couldn't hold off a week or 2 more? What a scrub.

Well, Hill is not officially out as far as i know. I have seen stubborn coaches before.

well, I'm shocked- I was sure I'd be out this week. The sim had me at only 38% of advancing but 4 of my long shots all did pretty well today. S. Greene, D. Clowney, Maningham and C. Baker. I never imagined that all of those players would have a good week at the same time. This is without a K also, because of Dawson and Bironas on bye.

41.65 QB - Carson Palmer - 21

11.00 RB - Michael Turner - 41

0.60 RB - Leon Washington - 12

10.50 WR - Anquan Boldin - 31

25.20 WR - Vincent Jackson - 21

7.90 WR - Percy Harvin - 5

4.80 WR - Darrius Heyward-Bey - 2

4.50 TE - Zach Miller - 12

TE - Brent Celek - 7

5.00 PK - Ryan Longwell - 3

11.00 TD - New York Jets - 4

Man, I am flying WAY too close to the sun this week. 122.15 with TE Celek (-4.5) left to go. Sounds like the cut will be somewhere around 125 FPs...so unless Celek is good for at least 7-8 FPs tomorrow night, I'm toast. C'mon, oh great and powerful FFL gods! Daddy needs a new kitchen from the subscriber contest! :hot:

Looks like Nicks may have saved me. 133.7 with Jackson -3.7.

Current cut line is just over 124. Projected cut using Dodds' forecast for MNF has the cut just below 131.

Good luck to the other 3999 meeting me in week 8. Had a great week this week, but now with Lefty, Davis, Robinson, and my newest season ender Leon carding 0's for the rest of the season, I may be in for a rough ride. Turned my 24 man roster into a 20, although I suppose that's better than a 20 into a 16...Fortunately my critical byes are behind me, so at least I should be throwing some decent players in the scoring mix every week.

Cruised again this week, have been between 150-210 each week...

BUT I've known all along week 8 will be worry time. No Brady, no Ocho... and have only JokeMarcus at QB next week - if he even starts, not a given by any means.

Feeling good... 152.6 + Cooley (-4.3).

If Mark Sanchez can get me 15+ next week, I'll be feeling good. If he throws up the 1.55 he did last week I could be in trouble.

:) My theoretical cold-hard-numbers driven would still be alive, even getting just 2.45 from S Hill at the QB spot. My real entry once again proved that I really wish there had been less than 12,000 entries.

Thus concludes QG's :ptts: :kicksrock: post of the week.

Good luck to the lucky 4000!

Crap. 108 and done.

My bye weeks did me in this week, with my only QB (S.Hill) getting benched and all my Giants (S.Smith, Bradshaw, Boss) disappearing, Leon breaking his leg, etc. etc.

CRAP!! Good luck everyone who's left.

Just use your browser 'find in page' tool and plug in your team number.
For anyone who isn't sure how to do that, it's usually Ctrl + F. I made it through another week, and I am really surprised that I did it with a 0 at 1 RB spot after Leon's injury.

Tony Romo $23

Matthew Stafford $11

Byron Leftwich $4

Steve Slaton $37

Darren McFadden $29

Ray Rice $21

Leon Washington $12

Correll Buckhalter $2

Edgerrin James $1

Anquan Boldin $31

T.J. Houshmandzadeh $30

Josh Morgan $15

Percy Harvin $5

Sidney Rice $4

Juaquin Iglesias $2

Laurent Robinson $2

Sam Hurd $1

Visanthe Shiancoe $10

Jermichael Finley $3

Josh Brown $1

Jason Hanson $1

New York Jets $4

New Orleans Saints $1

This 23 man team is theoretically down to a 15 man team by week 8. Ouch.
