Are they both Rangers? JuanGone and Nelson Cruz would be my guesses. If not both Rangers, would have to say Canseco and JuanGone.
Canseco was a Ranger, but we are all trying to forget. Are they both Rangers? JuanGone and Nelson Cruz would be my guesses. If not both Rangers, would have to say Canseco and JuanGone.
I somehow missed the Canseco as a Ranger era. Did get Juangone right though, that guy could rake all roided-up with the best of them.Canseco was a Ranger, but we are all trying to forget. Are they both Rangers? It was Canseco who brought the needles to Texas. Raffy, JuanGone, Pudge'Doctor Detroit said:I somehow missed the Canseco as a Ranger era. , Benji Gil, and I'm sure countless other can thank Jose for teaching them the joys of juicing.I've heard some fantasy baseballers say to ditch Yu in the next month or so. Their reasoning is he'll struggle in the Texas heat and he's pitching every 5th day instead of every 6th when he was in Japan. Anything to this? Concern for his arm since he doesn't get as many days off between starts as he did in the past?'Bogart said:Yu. What can you say about this guy that hasn't already been said?
That's all very possible, but the kid is simply getting better as he goes along. I don't see him doing anything that would cause you to ditch him for less than equal value.I've heard some fantasy baseballers say to ditch Yu in the next month or so. Well most people don't know/care that the hottest day in Texas is usually right at August 1st. Most people think it is hotter in late August than early. This year the bad stretch will be Jul23-Aug2 all at home, but all night games. Those are bookended by road trips too cooler climates and the home stand at the moment is against nobody that is higher than 3rd in their division at the moment. At this point I would assume Yu starts the All Star game which will cause some distractions and lack of rest, but all things aside I think you could theoretically span that stretch of Jul23-Aug2 only throwing Yu 1 time if the need was there.I've heard some fantasy baseballers say to ditch Yu in the next month or so. I gotta think Harrison is one more bad performance from getting swapped with Feldman.
You have that depth for a reason. Someone stumbles, someone gets a shot.Still rolling with the original 25 this late in the season is getting to be pretty impressive.Pinch hitting Snyder for Mitch isn't looking good so far.Mitch the ##### doing his best Josh impersonation today.
Not sure, but I like knowing he can pitch back to back 4 straight days. As bad as he was the first week he has been just as good since getting settled. So why against a weak hitting Astros club, does Wash send out Nathan a 4th day in a row?

Koji looking really good lately. Love Ross sneaking another win. Feliz had issues, but you can work through those against Houston.Went to the ticket office with a friend yesterday trying to help him exchange his Toronto seats for a different section in the shade. The ticket office told us they are sold out all 3 games of the Toronto series. That will make 14, 15 and 16 on the year I believe. Time to re-up Josh and Nap. The fans are keeping up their end of the deal right now we need to keep these guys around.

That whole ballpark is strange, and I can't put my finger on it. The baseball season that I lived in Houston, I wanted to love that park and go all he time to see NL baseball. But from the second I walked in, it just didn't feel right. Felt like baseball playing inside of a mall. Why does Enron not have any seats out to center or left? Seems such an odd layout. I'd 10x rather sit in the OF 20 rows up than 20 stories up in foul territory 200 feet from the nearest spot a ball could land.
No, I've been in there when empty and couldn't figure it out either. It does have a Trop2.0 feel to it on TV also. I guess I'll have a chance to see a game down there in the near future. That whole ballpark is strange, and I can't put my finger on it. I have enjoyed watchning game there, but I think the over tried with both the design and the bits. Left field almost backs up to the street, so that's where the short porch comes into play. things if my memory serves correct, there was enough land where they did not have to create that false feature. Tal's hill and there was a flagpole up there at one point. The train track would make sense if the stadium kept the name "the Ballpark at Union Station." Drayton knew he was selling the naming rights so now that just strange unless you know history of downtown Houston. No, I've been in there when empty and couldn't figure it out either. Paging Roy Oswalt. Please pick up the bullpen phone. Elbow issues scare me.Feliz to DL replaced by Feldman with Tatyama coming into the bullpen. First roster move of the year.
Will be interesting if they pull that trigger. Oswalt clearly only wanted to pitch for a contender, and Texas has proved that early on, they should be in the race. That said, Texas is "only" losing their number 5 starter, a position that they should be able to fill quite capably with Feldman.I wish it was Scheppers coming up instead of Tatyama, but both have proved they deserve the shot.Paging Roy Oswalt. Ogando is too valuable in his current role, and we need Ross available as the lone lefty. So that leaves Yoshi or... Lowe?So who is the long man? Ross, Ogando, Yoshi?
What's this, GB?Has anyone done the batter's eye club yet?
Yep. My thought exactly. So basically Ichiro is Yu's kryptonite. Got it.
Nope. It's a conspiracy. A tip of the cap from a present Japanese superstar in MLB to a past Japanese superstar in MLB who's light is fading fast. Gimme a break. That little limp wristed fairy Ichiro has suddenly turned the clock back 5-10 years when facing Yu? BS.So basically Ichiro is Yu's kryptonite. Got it.

What of this rumor of a Cruz-Ron feud that is simmering to a boil right now? Who is reporting this that has credibility, or is just people inventing a story right now?
Every day OSB looks Cruz in the eyes and says, "Why didn't you catch the mother ####### ball?"Cruz has just finally had enough. What's the deal with Cruz and Wash? I haven't heard anything. Maybe Cruz is pissed he finally started hitting the ball and Wash decided to give him some rest...Napoli is just lost right now. He looks so bad. Guy needs to take a few days off go on a bender and blow off some steam. We need the good Napoli back.
