It depends what you want to sell. Also most store owners will not buy stolen goods. So anything with a red hand next to it won't even show up.

Def a pain in the *** to find the nirnroot, i know there was a room in one of the mage guilds where someone kept a "plant" of it, and you could go back every few days and get another one though. I think i' mup to 8

If you can go back and re-harvest, there's a plant within walking distance of my ####### $2000 shack.

Stupid question, but need to ask. My fireball wielding assasin obviously has a major skill of light armor. I found a pair of elven bracers though that I really want to use. Adds two to my AC. But they are considered Heavy armor. I know Heavy Armor affects speel casting and whatnot. But how badly will heavy bracers, a minor armor item, affect me, either in casting ability or bow sniping?

Yeah, thats where i get stuck too. "West" goes right into a mountain.

You can get quite a few of the nirnroots (5 or 6 maybe?) by walking all the way around the moat that surrounds the Imperial City. I only walked on the outer shore of the moat and i bet there are more on the inner shore. When you talk to the alchemist that will make the potion, he will send you to a little pond that has 3 easy to find ones. Just go anywhere there is water and you will most likely find at least one. If you join the Black Brotherhood, the first quest where you go and kill the captain of the pirates, theres a nirnroot in the captains cabin. When you leave the pirates ship, theres one next to the ship on land. Good luck finding more, ive got about 15 or so right now.

For those who find themselves low on arrows......

Go to the Inn of Ill Omen (its where you killed the guy for your entry into the Dark Brotherhood). At 1am go inside the inn. You will see an Imperial Archer walk out the Inn (this could take a few seconds). Follow him out to the target practice area. Let him shoot, and go collect. . Repeat the last step as much as desired.

Does anyone know how to cure vampirism. Praying at a chapel doesnt work for me becuase ive had it for more than 3 days and praying doesnt work after 3 days after contracting the disease. Ive already kill the V guy of the brotherhood, so i cant get advice from him. Any help? It sucks to be a vampire cause i cant complete many quests cause no one will talk to me.

Walk anywhere near the edge of water (river, lake, moat) and you'll find a ton of Nirnroot. I've found over 20 this way. Also, many people keep them as house plants

And the Elixir he makes with them is good, but if you have a certain magic item already, it almost makes them moot...

Just reached a new low. Was so full of loot walking through a dungeon, that when I got attacked by a Bandit Bowman, each arrow that stuck in me encumbered me by .1 lbs.

Not that badly, the magic page of the inventory screen should give you a % effectiveness. The idea is to have light armor (tops) and a shield spell of some sort. Oh, and to blast the enemies before they get to swing. What use is a fireball if your target thinks s/he has a chance?

Thanks, I'll check that out. I guess the point is to see how much the effectiveness changes after you equip the bracers.

Some spoilers here, although 99% of you have probably already done this....

So I found the guy the King wanted me to, he sent me to find another guy in Kvatch(sp?). I went there, found the city burned down. I found the other guy(Martin is his name I think) and he won't leave until I can help him make sure that the city is safe.....just wandering around the city/church now.

I've done it with my level 5 guy. Not too bad really. I haven't really done any side missions so far.Actually, I've liberated Kvatch twice with two different characters.

Question for those who have completed the "Paranoia" quest, I think I just ####ed it up:

Galrthir has you follow three people. The first two I tailed all day and there was nothing doing. The third guy, the Davide wine making dude, I lost him for part of the day, and later that night Glarthir asked me about him, I told him that there was nothing doing and he got pissed and attacked me. With his fists. Hah. I wiped my ### with him. Now then, the part of the day when I lost that guy I was supposed to be tailing...was he really plotting against Glarthir? What happens if you told him so? In any case, I now have a house where I can store #### in Skingrad (Glarthirs had his key on him when I killed him).

You essentially have to stand real close to him (i guess he thinks you're following him?) then he starts to leave. after he left the inn, I just quick traveled and he was there when I got there.

I closed the gate to Obvlion and now I'm doing the quest "The Battle for Castle Kvatch", which I'm not sure if its a side quest or part of the main story.

ETA: The regular scamps are hard as hell to defeat when you're by yourself and theres a bunch of them.

I've closed the first Oblivion gate and haven't done too many side missions yet. 



Since acrobatics and athletics are two of my main skills a jump a lot at random times as I'm cruising around - anyone else do this?  I look like a tool, but it sure helps to bump the stats.

Since I've found this thread, I'll be sure to keep the digital camera handy to snap any cool pics I come across during play.  If anything you'll be able to see what it looks like on a 360 in HD on a 50" plasma...

I jump around a lot to increase acrobatics, and I also heal a lot even when I don't need to in order to increase my restoration ability. Is this pointless or am I doing good?

Yeah I did that. For me it was kinda easy as I am a Dark Elf with nearly 100% fire resistence (have an additional ring to help). It was pretty cool though.

Make sure you talk to all the guards outside the Temple, Jauffre just showed up for me on the upper part of the stairs there.

No, that is what happens. I just really like the variety of quests. Not sure if you told him the other way.

Its good in a way, but bad in another. As was mentioned by MC to me, advancing levels by doing this can make your character a bit of a weaker fighter since your advancement is in non-fighting skills...

I never got the quest from the mother, but when I ran into the daughter, she asked to help her and it got me going. What is the reward?
