I tried the cloning with the nirnroot.. not happening, but it worked with ogres teeth. :(
Yeah, it says nirnroot is a no-go.Anyone know about soul gems? :bag:

Edit to say that there is an XLS file out there that has ALL of the spawn codes for stuff.

Soul gems are fine.
Well them I am a ######, because it ain't working for me, so I guess i will have to play fair. :kicksrock:

So, there's no reason you couldn't go get some piece of armour worth over $1200, and go do this trick in the armoury shop and individually sell every new cloned piece to the merchant? :moneybag:

I'd forgotten how good the physics of this game are handled....

So I'm in the countryside (at night..DUH) running through a few items to see what clones and what doesn't. I grab a sigil stone and make three of them. Next thing I know they take off full speed down the hill, one bounces off a rock and into the grass, the other two are somewhere near the bottom of the hill near Imperial City. After 30 mins of looking around I never did find them.

I figured that was my hint to quit cloning things. :D

i'm not sure i see the "fun" in this cloning thing...
:goodposting: My kids use cheat codes and tricks like this all the time. I just tell them "Yea, but I finished the game without cheating at all." Then they know they've been :own3d: I really don't understand it. I think it ruins any sense of accomplishment I may have gotten from finishing a game. But I realize that's just me and everyone paid the same money I did for the game and can play it however it is enjoyable for them.

Why not just use player.additem 0000000F 25000

because once again, us 360 players can't use them fancy codes you pc snobs do (You are on a 360, right Ahrn?)

I'll never understand you low brow console owners. :P

Foosball brings up a good point:

Do you prefer a controller or keyboard for gaming? I'll put a poll up
I'll take a controller any day. However, I still don't think I'll ever buy a console gaming system.

for those of you who have cloned on a 360: I must be doing something wrong. I hold R Trigger to ready the bow to fire. Go to inventory, and try to drop the arrows that I have equipped. Get a message saying I can't drop until...blahblah. All that works like I'm reading. Now, when I switch to the item to be cloned, am I still holding the R Trigger in? and I push X to drop the items that should be cloned, but it isn't working. :confused:Edit: found the cheat on teh intarweb

1)Equip ANY set of arrows.2)Draw your bow back, while its drawn back press B to go to your inventory screen.3)Click on the arrows you have equipped with A and then on any other set of arrows you own and press A twice.4)Now find an item you wish to clone and drop it.

I am on a 360. But there are other money cheats for us uf you want them. I was just curious about the potential for this.

Nah, I've got about 75k right now, and thats after buying the house in skingraad and a few minor magic items that i thought looked cool, but will probably never use

Currently level 22, have 75K gold and am needing to off a High Elf that stands near a statue everyday.

Up to about 100K gold (I need to buy a few houses - I just have the one in the Imperial City) and level 22.

Plot Twist just hit in the DB quests. Am I about done now?

I am seeing a big disparity in difficulty of monsters. I was in a Mage Tower and was getting worked over but barely surviving (and finally HAVING to use scrolls and potions) by rooms full of the dinosaur thingies with storm/frost atronarchs. Then I can wipe the floors with most others.

Youre pretty much done if youve completed the quest after the big twist.

Still have to do it - just got it assigned to me.

On a happier note, I made a seriously kickass bow - Daedric bow and enchanted it with a grand soul to give shock weakness 20% and shock damage of 2 seconds for 25 points.

Good thing I have 8 varla stones.

Are there benefits to buying a house other than just having a place to stash loot? Not that my little level 2 character is anywhere near that level, just curious.

A free bed... but that's it.

just curious as to your reasons  power? lack of games you like?
I suppose it's hard to put a finger on. Game complexity, easy bug fixing, and multitasking are the first few things that come to mind. I find it immensely easier to control movement with a control pad/stick than a keyboard, though.

The Cow is now Listener.
I only made it to silencer before I reloaded with a new character. I'm one of those people who want the exact right set-up for me to be happy with a character so I've redone my character like three times now. It's kind of a PITA to do some of these quests over, but to offset things I try to do some quests that I had ignored with previous characters.

i realized yesterday that i didn't save the game at the end of the tutorial dungeon...so i have to go back thru to create a new guy....

:lmao: My favorite is when I am playing BF2 with some FBG's and got the mike and headphones on my PC and my 6 year old son comes out to go potty - of course, I don't hear him. I just all of a sudden see him standing over my shoulder watching like :excited:

Good to know I have a :nerd: -in-training in the house.

I enjoy spinning my Oblivion character around in circles every time my wife looks over my shoulder. That makes HER go potty real quick. :X

OK, is there any chance in this game of constructing your own arrows? There are some pretty sweet ones out there, but in very short supply. I was hoping I could make them at the mages guild, but nope.

Any where else?

 the DB storyline is the shizz.
Yeah, but I wish my cut was bigger. Hardly worth my time for that pittance of gold, seeing as how I can clear 10X that in 30 seconds in a dungeon.
I agree. I'll never make a special trip for the money, but If I'm in the neighborhood I will listen and relay. Spoiler if you haven't finished the Dark Brotherhood storyline:

Has anyone taken the DB underlings out on an outing yet? You have at least two of them (is it three?) who will follow you if you ask. Seems like in a tough battle, it would be nice to bring a posse to fight on your side. If so, have they gotten killed? Do you get more lemmings if so?

The combat AI for allies is teh suck...kill everything immediately, do not stop for anything. If there is a main quest in the game that requires you to keep someone alive that is killable, I'll never finish.

4 Savage trolls actally required the use of a potion, so that was cool, but I'd rather these shmucks let me unleash a ranged spell before they go charging into a deathtrap.

So you have taken the noobs out for a spin?

There are some mods out for that. There is also a mod out to increase the Listeners cash on the weekly quest.

Got a link? That link from previous is dead.

You may have posted it before - but what did you settle on? The one thing I didn't like about Morrowind was the urge to constantly restart with a better character.

There are a couple of things I did not like about my character, but it has grown on me. I like the destruction over illusion now, and am OK with blade. Especially with the Blade of Woe.
