Good Lord this is dumb...I always wondered why TV and movies choose to dumb down all the time and this thread has shown me why.Lori is dead. You don't always have to see something to know it.Let's put it this way...if she is NOT dead...then the show IS...because its f'ing absurd for her to survive at this point.Carol might be alive though...

I had just kind of assumed she was dead because that's what they've led us to believe, and I'm not one of these people who are always trying to outsmart the world.HOWEVER, what would be more f'ing absurd would be the idea that a zombie could eat an 85 pound body and leave nothing but a floor to lick -- that is just impossible.and for people who say he dragged her around the corner -- when has a zombie ever dragged anybody around a corner?it just doesn't happen.I have to question why they'd make her body vanish instead of having a partially devoured carcass for rick to find.and I had actually just forgotten about carol -- who knows wtf she is.

Shane was essentially one of his parents too. There's a lot of Shane in his new darker personality. No reason he'd let papa bear go nuts, coupled with his new realistic attitude, by not actually having killed her. It's possible, but there are 100 more likely possibilities, including werewolves and leprechauns.

Oh I'm sure he thinks he killed her. Just he was so emotionally bothered by it all that his aim was crappy and he wasn't really watching. But wasn't he becoming a budding serial killer before the outbreak? Maybe he has a bit too much Shane in him and wants to see the old man go nuts.

And damn this show. Last night I had a dream I was on the run from a zombie apocalypse. I showed up at a military base where seemingly all was peaceful. They gave me a room. The next day, zombie invasion. Only all the soldiers were fighting Terminators, so they couldn't help. (The Terminators were adapting on the fly, like the Borg). This may sound like an exciting/scary dream, but really all my dreams are just strange. I had left my slippers in the room they gave me the first night. So half the dream was me trying to get my slippers back, and the other half was me protecting my slippers from zombies. I punched a zombie in the face at one point. I remember thinking: I sure could use a gun or an ax or a crossbow, like on the Walking Dead. At the end, there was a rescue ship coming for us, and Megatron was trying to climb onto the roof to get to the airstrip. Only that's not where the airstrip was.

Maybe I watch too much sci-fi.
