***OFFICIAL 'The Walking Dead' TV Series Thread*** (3 Viewers)

Watched finally again...that was definitely sound of shell hitting the ground...then the revolver hits the ground.

I'm very late getting to this party. Just finished the first 2 seasons on Netflix and am waiting for season 3 to come out. Anywhere else to watch it? AMC website doesn't seem to have them.

Love watching every time they air these in black & white. The Kevin Smith "Tidbits about Season 4" in between the commercials are awful though and it sure seems like the they cut MORE commercials in between episodes during the marathon.

Something I didn't notice before: in episode 2, before the complaint people have had about "oh NOW it starts to rain out of nowhere," anytime a character is outside leading up to that scene you can hear thunder. Such as when they are all on the roof trying to figure out what they are going to do.

So many months away, AMC is weird in the way they release things. Do they have no faith that the faithful will come back otherwise?

What do you mean? Is it not coming back on Halloween anymore? Shows typically don't have two seasons in 12 months.
Yes the show comes back in October, but the release of the trailer now on top of the trailer release weekend they just had reeks of desparation to me.

I've already forgotten last season. Did they ever address the hurd at the end of season 2 or the helicopter?
They did. I don't recall exactly when with the herd, but they showed that the herd saw the helicopter moving away from the city and that was what started them moving out of Atlanta. Also, that helicopter could have been the national guard one that the Governor's crew shot down. Pretty sure the National Guard would have been flying around Atlanta since they were there and got overrun. I am assuming those guys that the Governor killed were the ones that escaped Atlanta. It may not have been that helicopter, but I think that they were sort of implying that or at least showing that there were people who could have access to helicopters that weren't dead.

It's comic con weekend. The trailer was released to coincide with the walking dead panel.

Wow, bit of a stretch there.

For a cable show about zombies, the ratings are phenomenal and would be top 10 for broadcast shows. Pretty sure that isn's desperation.

Hey man, stop making excuses. They are desperate. Pretty soon they will start introducing Zombnados in hopes of getting viewers.

Awesome stuff coming up. As long as Maggie is alive, I'm good.

And, what is Darryl moving in on Rick's territory for? Young blonde chick is Rick's. Darryl better watch himself.

Guess Vikings releasing a trailer for their next season is desperate also. :oldunsure:

As someone mentioned above, it is comic-con week, it is the WEEK of hype,

This season looks like how Season Three should have been....at least in regards to the comic books; a combination of insecurity, some safety and smaller personal driven story lines.

I don't know how they don't starve to death. Daryl Dixon is only one who knows how to hunt. Canned goods must be running out. They can't stay at the prison too long because food supplies will just run out. They should head for the coast and start learning to fish. Plus it would be interesting to see zombies handle swimming.

If it were me I'd have to get a big boat and hit the open ocean. Much less stressful since you don't always have to worry about waking up with a zombie chewing your face off. I'd sleep on the boat every night, only come to shore if I had to.

In the new EW magazine, they have pics of Rick near a pen full of pigs and they talk about having gardens.
