She told Carol that the chocolate was rationed since they don't have that much and she could only take a little. Carol said that works for her, but I think when she went back for the guns, she took the rest of the bar.

no, its was just a way of letting people know that there are 2 carol's now...the outward Stepford wife, bad Carol, and the bad ###, "I covered myself in zombie guts so don't tell me what I can and cant eat" Carol

When Hurricane Rita hit Houston I tried to leave town but gave up and went back home after I got about 7 miles in 5 hours. Stopped at a grocery store and about the only things edible left were 10 boxes of generic blueberry poptarts. Generic poptarts REALLY suck, incidentally.

I'd guess most supplies would come from raiding cars abandoned on the highway whose owners fled or turned, and people's homes.

Is that a sandwich that someone left? Did the guy get an order from the wife to get a water, get tempted by the Hot Italian special and then realize he couldn't carry both out together?

I agree completely. After the episode was over, it was pretty clear that the flares were in case the two of them were in trouble, not a trap for Rick's crew. That is why he took off.

It was a little confusing at first, almost felt like there was an immanent attack, so Aaron took off. But it was a signal that the other guy was in trouble.

Yeah, that was intentionally confusing so we would think there was an attack coming, i.e. the "32" people he brought found out Rick went off the path he was supposed to go and were coming for them. It made sense afterwards.

My 14 y.o. son was watching "The Amazing Race" or some show like that and there were maybe 13 couples and 3 of them were gay couples. I mentioned that it seemed like there was a disproportionate number of gay couples (meaning relative to the general population) and my son called me a homophobe. I replied with, "I would love you no matter what your sexual proclivities". Got back, "I'm not gay dad".

What is the reasoning they're giving for Carol to go outside the walls with Rick and Darryl? So she can get shooting practice?

If she's playing the part of a domesticated hausfrau who made it this far without shooting ability, why would she need it now?

Just occurred to me why Carol took the chocolate - to have an excuse for her break in if she got caught (by an adult she couldn't scare the #### out of). Maybe that was obvious to everybody but I thought it was a good piece of writing to include that to show how far ahead Carol is thinking. She's operating on an entirely different level than everyone else on the show.

Thinking about the Alexandria safe zone walls, its going to be a real challenge to get out if there is breach or the gate is overrun. The horse was eaten when it went into the fenced area. Suggestive of the buffet that awaits a walker horde that gets in.

Enid looked liked she had some sort of pegs that she put into slots in the metal braces that allowed her to climb out.

Those outside supports basically make the place indefensible from an outside assault by marauders. Enid must have gotten back in that way. What were they thinking? They have no idea of the barbarians outside? But you would think they would based on how careful they are in recruiting new people to join their community.

The writers blew a great chance there when the architect asked Noah "why, you think the walls will fall?"..

Should have had Noah say " yea, you built the supports on the wrong side!"

;)
