***OFFICIAL 'The Walking Dead' TV Series Thread*** (4 Viewers)

the only positive that has come out of this show for the last 3-4 years is when they follow the story in the comic. i honestly think they have all given up on the show, and keep the show going to fulfill whatever contracts they have.

I can just imagine Kirkman weeping into his pillow every Sunday night when he happens to turn this turd pile of a show on
He blows his nose with C-notes. I am sure he is taking it all in stride.

at this point, there is no way Rick can be viewed as the good guy right? i mean dudes save him and they stab them in the back.

Enjoyable episode last night building a "new" story line for the future..

Helicopter shows up, Jadis knew it was coming but her game playing with Negan cost her the pickup. Since she was unpacking at the end, have to assume the fly over doesn't happen very often and so she is going to stay "home" until her next chance.

Who was on the road that Negan picked up, and why was he/she hiding in the car when Negan got back to the Sanctuary?
Maybe the woman that got away from the ambush with Dwight?
And just what will Negan do to/with Simon?

I assume this is the last ""bad guy" Rick we will see for awhile as he has definitely gone to the Dark side. Think between reading the letter from Carl, and Michonne he'll redeem himself... Question is, who will he "show mercy, rather then vengeance" with?

Will Eugene finally get what's coming to him? Or will Daryl and Rosita decide he is too valuable to just kill?

Only 2 episodes left

Liked most of this episode.  Rick is a liar.  Do tell. Good to see they finally killed the long haired #####.

The Jadis/Negan scenes were just dumb.  So her plan was to signal the chopper and leave Negan (Mr. Bond) tied up with yet another extravagant plan to use a silly looking walker-cart to kill him, only to, of course, have it backfire and Negan survive.     And she missed her opportunity to leave.

Hey, Jadis... why not just shoot and kill Negan hours before the chopper is scheduled to arrive so he won't have any opportunity to mess up your plans?  Is that too much to ask?   Allow him time to turn then impale him on one of your "pieces of art" with the spiked helmet or something and leave him there to wander around like a d-bag forever.  Maybe impale Lucille through his body or something with a sign around his neck that says "I AM NEGAN."

I thought it was neat how Carol was able to find Henry in the same location Rick hid Sofia by the creek when she went missing back in season one or two.  Gave her closure even though Henry is a dill-hole.

The person Negan picked up had to be the girl that knows Dwight is a turn coat.  She's the only one that makes sense.

I agree it seemed dumb unless............ :oldunsure:

She planned on taking him with her to wherever the Helicopter takes people.
Doesn't explain that Walker cart, unless that was going to be just intimidation to keep him subdued until the Helicopter got there...
But then why leave the Flare and the guns so easily accessible to him?

With any luck we'll get an answer in one of the two last episodes to her "why" of that scene, as well as staying there after he promised her "sanctuary" ..

that was pretty good actually. I really wish Rick would just stay consistent and be a bad guy like that all the time.  Gave me a little hope for the final two episodes.

I'm annoyed with myself that I kinda want to watch Morgan crossover on FTWD, I've never watched any of that show,

Don't really care to see more of Morgan arguing with himself.. 5 or so seasons of that is about enough for me.

I watched the first season of FTWD and disliked most of it and haven't tuned in since...
But am intrigued on the Time Jump and the move to Texas so will probably give it a few episodes this season to see if they learned anything.

I thought the same thing.   He’s worse than the “bad guys” at this point.  Also, the people from Alexandria, the Dump and The Kingdom have lost everything since they joined him.

The last season of FTWD was pretty good or at least much better than before and better than TWD.  All the previews I've seen about the new season have been great. New show-runner and writers. They're bringing in a bunch of new characters. From what I've read, the acting, writing, cinematography, and direction is top notch at least for the first few episodes that reviewers were given.

Last night's episode wasn't bad, especially compared to the last few. Of course, still some bad writing and flaws. It was relatively much better than most episodes this season.

Poor Daryl, just grunting through 1-2 lines per show.

Just watched and, all I can say is, WTF?

So Neegan is now the good guy, Rick the bad. At least Neegan's killings have a purpose. Rick is just an #######. I'm now rooting for Neegan, which I never thought was possible.

Carol and Michonne are now quivering wimps. Darrell is just running around hatching one man plans that fail and #### things up ten-fold. The stupidest kid left on the planet continues to survive despite doing everything wrong. Black Ninja is just a crazy guy.

As for helicopters, uhm, ok. Whatever.

I now don't think there is a single character left that I care if they die or not. Not one.

i'm thinking this is what the show tries too, but it is total bull####. SO horde comes in, Rick and Morgan plea for their lives, and as the saviors are getting attacked by zombies some don't even help their friends and they save Rick and Morgan instead. Next, as opposed to killing someone for a reason (self-preservation, intimidtation), pissy Rick has to just blindside these guys and kill them without even giving them a chance at anything, even after they said they would be willing to work this out and end the fighting

i don't see how you can redeem from that. that is a total line in the sand kind of move.

was there ever any explanation as to how Neagan got the gun, flare, and pictures? i assumed i missed something, but don't think i did. the scene WAS dumb, because of things like this. hope i'm wrong on this one

I find myself being more annoyed by the show than entertained now.  I still watch because I want to see what happens but after each episode I feel unsatisfied instead of enjoyment.  Everything this show does could be done better.  It's like you can see that they are close to really having something but always go the wrong direction with it.  I'm sick of the repetition.  Here's a list of the same things played out over and over again.

Good Rick, bad Rick.

Negan is going to die but Negan lives.

Morgan going back and forth between crazy and not.

Tara and Daryl wanting to kill Dwight.

Eugene deciding on which side he's on.

Carol being strong or staying out of it all.

Negan said something along the lines of  "I assume you left the guns and the flare near to where I could get to them because you wanted me to get them".. Or something like that.. he was just wrapped around the chest and legs so once he started moving it wasn't hard for him to get to them...

It might end up being a "flash back" moment to show us the why.. like last night where we found out why Jadis was walking around in a Night gown when Rick found her.

Agree with most except the bold.. That is who Eugene is... he has always been about "self preservation" and will do whatever it takes to fit in and survive with the group he thinks can keep him alive.
Currently the Saviors seem to him to be his best bet to survive. If the situation changes, he'll do whatever it takes to fit in with the next group.

Maybe He will be who Rick talks about with the "I chose Mercy over vengeance" .. :oldunsure:

What about the part when he helped Sonya or helped the Dr escape?  He goes back and forth on sticking with who he can survive with and helping his friends.

Rick is in a place where revenge is all he cares about. Not hard to understand

IMO- part of his self-preservation... If things go south with the Saviors, and he needs to find a way back in, he can always say he helped the doctor get back to help Maggie...
Whether Daryl and others will take him back.. :oldunsure:

It was all in the suitcase that she left him with while she wandered off. They showed her packing them. Once she left, there was no doubt he was going to have a gun when she came back. None. It was another of the incredibly stupid things they have people do in the show. Even Neegan basically told her she must have wanted him to have them because, otherwise, why would she have been so stupid as to leave them there? It was basically the ONLY explanation that made any sense.

Nope. Came in, hovered. She tried to grab another flare to get it's attention but, due to her own stupidity, she missed it. It flew off.
"She" is gpk queen?

This one is getting better reviews in here- albeit from the guys iirc who genuinely still like the show. I'm on the fence about watching it- the last one was just terrible.

I didn't watch the last one. The reviews in here were so bad. This one was good all on it's own.

I wonder if the mystery passenger was Dwight's wife.
I assumed it was the woman who knows Dwight turned on the saviors, but Dwight's wife is intriguing.

Based on the previews for next week, it seems it is the former.  Negan walks down the steps with Lucille and sees Dwight and says "bet you're surprised to see me..."  or something to that effect.
