Shane is showing a much darker side to himself again when threatening Dale.
Walkers in the barn = Herschel's Walkers
Definitely. Although Dale acting as the "protector" of Andrea, as her semi-father-figure, was pretty predictable. Liked that scene though. Is it just me, or was the acting in this episode the best yet? Maybe because there was some honest anger. Its an intense emotion that we don't see much between these characters, and its much less whiny. I like how they're developing Shane's character. He's like an Alpha predator in the wild, doing what he has to to survive. He kills when he has to, ####s when he has the opportunity, and generally takes what he wants, other than Laurie. He's dangerous, and its believable. Dude will do anything.Kinda shocked she finally told Rick, by the way. What a pansy, he already "knew" what was going on but was ignoring the signs, if I had to guess.Shane is showing a much darker side to himself again when threatening Dale.
Dale is a fool - if he really believes what he was saying to Shane then he's trying to get himself killed. If I was Shane I would have looked at him like I was confused and murdered him the first chance I got.Shane is showing a much darker side to himself again when threatening Dale.

I liked Shane's comments to Dale, him and blondie are going to split the group at some point the way things are going. Much less of Lauri would be appreciated.Internet tough guy? Palace coup? In most apocalyptic tales, aren't there always people who use the societal breakdown as an excuse to seize tyrannical power? Walkers in the barn = Herschel's WalkersThey ARE in Georgia.
Great in-joke if it was intentional.Great episode. Loved seeing Shane's dark side continue to emerge and Andre definitely doesn't mind grabbing hold of it (and other things). A little surprised by Rick's reaction to Lauri banging Shane but maybe he figures that personal conflicts aren't going to help anyone at this point and he needs Shane. Not surprised that there are family members and friends in the barn (great first line from Maggie after Glenn asked her what she calls Walkers - "Mom."). That makes perfect sense given what Herschel said to Rick before when they were talking about the new world. Very bummed the show is going away after next week's mid-season finale. This has been a terrific season so far.I'm joking but I am also tired of having to explain that to everyone who picks apart a response in a literal sense. Whatever dude.Internet tough guy? Wow - talk about missing his point entirely.
Yea that's exactly what I'm talking about. I could see it, what's he got to lose? Pretty much all bets are off when society ceases to exist as we know it. Strongest tend to rise to the top and people follow the strongest leader in a crisis. Doesn't always mean he's the best alternative but human nature dictates otherwise.Palace coup? The big question is how the "strongest" is perceived by the rest. Is he openly acknowledged and followed willingly? Or does he use force and impose his will on the rest in the guise of the greater good? Shane might be a reluctant despot but Andrea looks like she'd secretly enjoy being the deadly power behind the throne. Boy, I can picture BGP fantasizing about this kind of stuff during WoW raids.I'm joking but I am also tired of having to explain that to everyone who picks apart a response in a literal sense. "How many beers I would like to drink with her: Two. I feel like she cries when she drinks, so two would be just enough to get out before the water works."I think it was the homeowner's attempt at creating a hidden garage ala Dawn of the Dead when they boarded off the stairs to the storeroom. Any walkers coming into the house would walk right by the garage entrance. But apparently that didn't work out so well for the occupants.I was only half way watching when Shane and blondie were in the tract house. What was the deal with the boarded up hallway and all the stiffs in the garage?

I'm trying to remember that too. Wasn't it when the walkers attacked the group when they were camping out? When blondie's sister got bit? What's the situation when Shane had a gun pointed at Rick? Having a tough time remembering that.

Yeah, Rick had recently come into the group. Shane and Rick are out in the woods hunting a walker, and Shane has a moment where he gets rick in his sights.I'm trying to remember that too. d7. Mrs. Greene - Herschel's wife is in the barn, chewin' on chicken. Is this insane or the perfect marriage ?
Break Laurie's legs and dump her off the hail bails to the zombies in the barn. Beyond sick and tired of her shenanigans.
After what the one gal did to the chicken, this is amusing imagery but "hail bails?"grant is the best character in the series. the part in the pharmacy where he's telling the girl the walkers aren't people anymore and she says they're her friends and relatives then 2 minutes later he's chopping a walker head off and saving her life was pretty good. Grant and Darryl are the most interesting plot developments so far, to me. Shane just needs a bullet in his forehead, he's a loose cannon ready to explode and laurie is mrs psychopath now that she knows how to slow down time ala The Matrix and headshot zombies with a handgun effortlessly.
Where to start....Great FF name.Walkers in the barn = Herschel's WalkersThey ARE in Georgia.

Not what I'd do, what Shane should do. If Shane really has turned that corner then he shouldn't want someone around who is capable of turning the group against him. Plus he's an old man who isn't much help to their survival anyway.Sure, internet tough guyDale is a fool - if he really believes what he was saying to Shane then he's trying to get himself killed. Not sure I follow. How is "the barn" cutting someone's throat? The Barn is a good example of what could happen in real life in any apocalyptic situation. Your good buddy of a neighbor could very well end up cutting your throat if it means the survival of him and his own.

You won't just be able to put the key in and crank up any old car for long. And chances are if he's mechanically inclined with cars he's probably useful in other ways (getting a generator running, etc.).mehThis world is full of abandoned cars

fixedAfter Glenn dispatched the walker who attacked Hot Cowgirl, the writers should have had her say something like, "Oh, god, you just hacked up the town pedo!"

When is that one on?'packersfan said:Sorry if this was answered previously but does anyone know what became of the scene with Shane that was part of the first Season 2 promo trailer? I remember reading somewhere it was cut but I never heard why. Anyone know? It's the first part of this clip:
