Definitely. Although Dale acting as the "protector" of Andrea, as her semi-father-figure, was pretty predictable. Liked that scene though. Is it just me, or was the acting in this episode the best yet? Maybe because there was some honest anger. Its an intense emotion that we don't see much between these characters, and its much less whiny. I like how they're developing Shane's character. He's like an Alpha predator in the wild, doing what he has to to survive. He kills when he has to, ####s when he has the opportunity, and generally takes what he wants, other than Laurie. He's dangerous, and its believable. Dude will do anything.Kinda shocked she finally told Rick, by the way. What a pansy, he already "knew" what was going on but was ignoring the signs, if I had to guess.

I'm all for character development, but sweet Jesus. I'm thinking now that perhaps it's more of a production cost issue. It can't be cheap to take over a neighborhood for they day, dress up your zombie extras and shoot those scenes. I just wish the writers could do more with less I guess.

Great in-joke if it was intentional.Great episode. Loved seeing Shane's dark side continue to emerge and Andre definitely doesn't mind grabbing hold of it (and other things). A little surprised by Rick's reaction to Lauri banging Shane but maybe he figures that personal conflicts aren't going to help anyone at this point and he needs Shane. Not surprised that there are family members and friends in the barn (great first line from Maggie after Glenn asked her what she calls Walkers - "Mom."). That makes perfect sense given what Herschel said to Rick before when they were talking about the new world. Very bummed the show is going away after next week's mid-season finale. This has been a terrific season so far.

Yea that's exactly what I'm talking about. I could see it, what's he got to lose? Pretty much all bets are off when society ceases to exist as we know it. The big question is how the "strongest" is perceived by the rest. Is he openly acknowledged and followed willingly? Or does he use force and impose his will on the rest in the guise of the greater good? Shane might be a reluctant despot but Andrea looks like she'd secretly enjoy being the deadly power behind the throne. Boy, I can picture BGP fantasizing about this kind of stuff during WoW raids.

I think it was the homeowner's attempt at creating a hidden garage ala Dawn of the Dead when they boarded off the stairs to the storeroom. Any walkers coming into the house would walk right by the garage entrance. But apparently that didn't work out so well for the occupants.

Yeah, Rick had recently come into the group. Shane and Rick are out in the woods hunting a walker, and Shane has a moment where he gets rick in his sights.

grant is the best character in the series. the part in the pharmacy where he's telling the girl the walkers aren't people anymore and she says they're her friends and relatives then 2 minutes later he's chopping a walker head off and saving her life was pretty good. Grant and Darryl are the most interesting plot developments so far, to me. Shane just needs a bullet in his forehead, he's a loose cannon ready to explode and Andrea is mrs psychopath now that she knows how to slow down time ala The Matrix and headshot zombies with a handgun effortlessly. <BR><BR><BR><BR>eta wrong name on the chick
