I thought that's what they were doing in the second-to-last episode after Dale was killed. They decided to move into the house and it seemed at that point they were beginning to make those plans. But then the Randall/Shane thing happened and things spiraled out of control from there.Like a lot of you have pointed out I have no idea why they didn't have some sort of "when the poop hits the fan" plan.
They obviously never watched the A-Team, B.A. Baracus would've built a zombie killing machine in 5 minutes.which leads me to another question I asked why earlier. Wouldnt you go scavenge like a big truck or bus or something for just an event like this? To plow through the zombies. An early 70's model truck, an 80's suburban, a beat up RV and a new Prious isnt really what I had in mind. And the motorcycle has to be the dumbest of them all.Yeah, and as others have mentioned you'd think these folks would have planned for such an event. Can't you just use the two pickups to run down the walkers all night? You don't even have to drive fast. Just ride through them knocking them down, breaking legs, backs. Then finish them off by running over them again and again. Hell you hardly have to fire any shots.Looking back the final episode was good (even taking the shotgun and shooting from cars thing) but the driving around like mad men didnt really seem what a realistic person would do in that scenario. Wouldnt you, you know, just get in the car when you see the walkers that far off and drive and then maybe later try and come back for supplies or something? I dont think I would be driving in circles trying to shoot them all.
When did he stop being a mute?I think T dawg wanted to do this. Maybe they should have let him do more talking a few episodes back.Seems to me this could probably be easily solved by going on a yacht and finding a nice island.Yeah, and as others have mentioned you'd think these folks would have planned for such an event. Yeah, I guess. And of course Carl screwed the pooch again.I thought that's what they were doing in the second-to-last episode after Dale was killed. when he got the 2 white women in his truck. You know he thought about letting both of them out. Neither one of them was fat.when he got the 2 white women in his truck. I'm sure my man Hova is looking for me in the chopper. I'd drive to his heliport, give him a pound and take the chopper to his yacht which would attract all the zombies..get about 50 feet from shore, preferably in Key Biscayne with women, music, drink and unlimited ammo. Mow them down from the friendly confines of a yacht. Then if you get bored, take the chopper up and drop bombs, yo!I think T dawg wanted to do this. As has been mentioned many times.. Up until Dale getting
by a Zombie they felt safe and protected so had no need to have a exit plan. By the time they realized they were not as safe as they thought everything fell apart fast.but sitting around the campfire wouldnt someone say "hey guys, just for ####s and giggles what would you do if a couple hundred zombies showed up here, not that its ever going to happen just what would you do?"I thought that's what they were doing in the second-to-last episode after Dale was killed. Yeah but this moronic. If they felt safe then why have people up on the Winnebago with a scoped rifle?I thought that's what they were doing in the second-to-last episode after Dale was killed. I was talking more about just getting the hell out of there. Like an evacuation. Not sure where the whole "Chinese fire drill mixed with a drive-by shooting" comes in but more power to them.I was sort of under the impression that meeting up at the highway was their "oh-####" plan. That's why everyone ended up going there.
They've been :thisclose: to getting booted from the farm and just recently were allowed to sleep in the house, so I'm not sure what options they'd have when faced with 100-200 zombies.but sitting around the campfire wouldnt someone say "hey guys, just for ####s and giggles what would you do if a couple hundred zombies showed up here, not that its ever going to happen just what would you do?"I thought that's what they were doing in the second-to-last episode after Dale was killed. That was a theory I had as well. Not really buying the fact that they won't try to attack her though, even with no arms or jaw.Not having read any spoilers or the comic, I may have an idea as to why the swordsman leads those two neutered zombies around. If she sees walkers nearby, she pulls the prisoners close to hide her human smell. You can't see her face or body so it's difficult to tell even that she's not a walker. She's pretty much hiding in plain sight.
Or she's just an f'n badass. Not having read any spoilers or the comic, I may have an idea as to why the swordsman leads those two neutered zombies around. "day to day"? How hard it is to say "Hey, just in case things get metal around here we need a plan...you five go in the motorhome, you three take the truck..."?And hell they spent a whole lot of time just talking about crap. Pretty sure they weren't foraging for grubs and berries dawn to dusk.Sometimes, you have to deal with what's right in front of you. Day to day survival often precludes long term planning. Plus, it's not like there was a bevy of options available to the group.

I can't wait for the first "I got this" scene. The seemingly spent this entire season wandering around in the countryside near the farm. Why didn't they ever scout out good fall-back locations, where they could all rendevous? I mean, besides, in an open, unprotected highway with walkers wandering around?Sometimes, you have to deal with what's right in front of you. Day to day survival often precludes long term planning. Plus, it's not like there was a bevy of options available to the group.
For those that have read the comics:
Do you think they will show the rape and torture of Michonne by the Governor?
Or maybe store some extra tanks of gas in the back of their vehicles? The seemingly spent this entire season wandering around in the countryside near the farm. No need to worry about spoilers, the comics don't give a satisfactory explanation either. That was a theory I had as well. How many deaths is Carl now responsible for - 3?Yeah, I guess. And of course Carl screwed the pooch again.I thought that's what they were doing in the second-to-last episode after Dale was killed. This was one of my biggest issues with Dale acting like they were such barbarians and should be civilized now that they were chilling on a farm. News flash: zombie on your six homey.Like a lot of you have pointed out I have no idea why they didn't have some sort of "when the poop hits the fan" plan.
comics suck, sorry guy.Red the comics ya jackass!Right, I get all of that. How does having no arms and lower jaw keep them from having a desire to attack her? And how does that act as a deterrent to other walkers?I think one is her ex-boyfriend and the other her brother or exs brother.Bump.Comic book nerds wanna explain the zombies on a leash thing?with no arms

Something I read on another board. If Lori's baby dies late in her term, will it turn into a floater(walker) and try to eat her from the inside out?
awnOfTheDead:I tried reading these. I made it about 6 pages and my eyes started to glaze over. I am glad there are people that like them because they give us great material but I can't stand reading them. Most do. LINKso, uh, anyone gonna link up the 6 page 'Story of Michonne' from this month's Playboy?
My wife doesn't buy the 'I read it for the articles!' Pretty sure she's not gonna buy 'I read it for the comics!' either.
What are they gonna do, bleed on her?Not really buying the fact that they won't try to attack her though, even with no arms or jaw.
They're mindless zombies. If one is willing to rip its face off squeezing into a car, they will try to gum her to deathWhat are they gonna do, bleed on her?Not really buying the fact that they won't try to attack her though, even with no arms or jaw.
I got it. will be up later tonight unless someone else puts it up.so, uh, anyone gonna link up the 6 page 'Story of Michonne' from this month's Playboy? My wife doesn't buy the 'I read it for the articles!' Pretty sure she's not gonna buy 'I read it for the comics!' either.

Right. They can't kill her but I don't see them being docile enough to be led around on chains. They're mindless zombies. Bottom of page 87 of this thread has a "spoiler" of a sort that explains more of those in tow. Not a Huge spoiler and IMO worth reading.Right.
