I think it is funny that people are freaking out about how ridiculous the sword lady is. Yea, towing zombies is a bit out there, but am curious to see the explanation (although I'll probably read it in the comics first). IMHO, the most ridiculous aspect of the show is how quick they are to start shooting the zombies, knowing that they are attracted to loud noises. A samurai sword seems like the absolute perfect weapon in a zombie apocalypse. It's relatively light-weight, and super sharp. Seems ideal for hacking down a horde of zombies.

I finally broke down and read all the comics. Considering how much time they spent on the farm, they could possibly stay there a while, but considering the backlash they got for staying on the farm forever, they could skip over the mundane parts of living in the prison as well. Then again, they could spend the next two seasons of the show there for all I know, but it shouldn't be as boring as the farm. I don't think you need to get upset about that spoiler just yet, but I wish people would stop posting random crap like that.

People are talking about the TV show. The prison was shown. Also the shows producers are talking about season 3. The information is out there. Big story arcs in the comic book are going to be part of the TV show, learn to deal with it.

had the whole season on the dvr and watched them all from friday night to last night. then spent 2 hours today reading this thread since im home sick with no energy. the show was very entertaining but like most/some? of you was frustrated at sloppy/dumb writing and some bad acting. probably the thing that sticks in my craw the most was the total lack of planning for an attack at the farm and no rendezvous point. rick was pretty close to leaving with karl and ditching everyone else. (didnt beleive that possible action either). At any rate the good definately overcomes the bad. I also want to point out jplvr is a stand up dude after condescendingly laughing at everyone who thought CDC guy told rick that everyone has the disease. he came back and apologized to all. wish there was more of that if you take that type of stance. off to check out the webisodes and comics.

In the first episode of the series, we saw Rick go back to his house and he realized that Lori and Carl was still alive, or he had a good idea anyways, based on the fact that the photo albums were gone. During a zombie apocalypse, I’m not sure if one of the first things I would worry about would be photo albums, but whatever. If you guys had just a few minutes to gather things that are currently in your home, what would you try to grab that you could take, and put in your car?

Didn't we do a thread awhile back where you had to pick like three foods to eat the rest of your life keeping nutrition and taste in mind-(I think hot pockets was mentioned).

The first season flies by pretty quickly with only six episodes. But the second season builds and builds in intensity before blowing the roof off the joint in the final few episodes.
