In a zombie apocalypse I’m not going to be driving a….whatever the heck they are driving. I’m gonna look for a 4 wheel drive truck or something, and reinforce it somehow.

Actually a small SUV seems like a perfect vehicle. 4x4, small so you can get through small spots (still crap on the roads here and there), better gas mileage and still enough room to carry a decent amount of suppliers.If you get a big 4x4 and reinforce it, you are getting what 8mpg? Unlimited gas, you are OK for a run, but way too much chance you hit an emergency and you are toast without a car.

I could go with a smaller suv, but you'll still need to reinforce it. And make sure it can't get stuck in a little mud. Thankfully Rick had enough bullets to kill the 4 or 5 zombies that surrounded their car. If there were more, Rick, Carl, and Michonne would have met a different fate.

Michonne could have, and probably did spear some of them with her Katana. Which brings me back to the fenceline at the prison. Why don't they call over the zombies and kill them like they did when they took over the prison. Might take a few days, but eventually they'd have cleared much of the yard. Anyway, love the Morgan return. He's one of the strongest actors they have, hope that's not the last we see of him.

I figured they would do this if they didnt have to worry about being shot while theyre out there. I guess they can also serve as a defense for when/ if anyone from Woodbury come creeping up.

Not sure if this was mentioned already but the writer of last night's episode, Scott M. Gimple, is the new showrunner. He also wrote "18 Miles Out" last season which was another amazing episode. Writing and being a showrunner are different skills but if these episodes are any indication the show may remain in great hands with Glen Mazzara gone.

worthless episodeWhy did andrea (or the short haired woman) feel like she had to sleep with the gov to get his guard down to kill him? She could have just walked in and shot him with the 9mm. A lot easier than cutting his throat.

1. He is always armed. She would have to be very quick to drop him before he could react. Unlikely she could do that without hesitating.2. If she somehow was successful in shooting him, she's not getting out of town alive. With a quiet, late-night throat cutting she has at least some chance of escaping.

We went through that earlier. If there were more zombies, the survivors would have run out of bullets. Then they would have been sitting ducks. Thats why I said to make sure you have a decent 4 wheel drive vehicle so you don't get stuck in that situation. Also, if the window is rolled partially down, that glass is gonna break with the sheer weight of the zombies. It would break eventually even if it wasn't rolled down partially.They were lucky there were only a few zombies. Had that happened in the first episode of season 2 on the highway, the survivors would have been toast.

No need to roll down the window and take a chance one of the Zombies grabs the glass and pulls and breaks it.So, leave the front Windshield as is, but Board up the side windows with Shooting/viewing areas at the top.

They keep reinforcing how things have changed in their world. At the beginning of all this, being trapped in a car surrounded by zombies would have been reacted to/handled much differently. Now the group is used to how things are in the world... ear damage was the biggest concern.

How do you plan to attach the wood to the car?Glass isn't light (probably 5-10 lbs. per side window) so replacing them with metal bars isn't going to add that much weight.One of the advantages of having a larger vehicle is even though you get worse mileage you can carry jerry cans or even install a second gas tank.

I was thinking the same as dhockster that this guy holed up somewhere with supplies and finally ran out. He had to be a newbie to the survival game yelling like that. They had to see you and obviously didn't want to help you, don't yell and alert other zombies. Maybe he was a guy into camping or worked at REI had some survival gear, maybe even a stockpile of food/rations and finally decided he had to leave where he was holed up because he was running on empty.Sucks for the guy that had he flagged them down on the way back, they might have brought him with them.

Isn't it ironic. Calling out the poor writing on the show yet saying Morgan is the best leader based on what you have seen when he has said he is weak and he effed up so badly that it cost him the #1 thing in the world that was his only goal to save. Sounds about right.

He had a good setup for 1 guy, not for a group of people. If he didn't recognize Rick right away the Duane thing happened a while ago, so he has been holed up in that area of town for a long time with no one else. Pretty sure the Governor has shown he has been able to create a pretty damn safe setup (pre-messing around with the prison) for a lot of people, far more impressive than the mousetraps Morgan setup. I am also pretty sure that Rick and/or Shane could have done the same at the prison if they never got involved with the Governor. Morgan did fine even as a crazy man because he knew about Rick's weapon cache so he was able to hole up with a lot of weapons to start and go from there. With that time and the weapons to start, I don't think he was any more amazing that the other head guys.

I think Rick even in his current state, would have helped them. I think he was worried about that the hitchhiker was a trap. If they would have stopped for the hitchhiker, would 4-5 people in the woods rush out and take the car?There was no possible way for an ambush in Daryl's situation

Nah....Rick was able to conclude very quickly that the backpacker would do nothing but hold his merry band back what with all the yelling, screaming, and carrying on that guy was doing. What a sissy. He doomed himself.

Morgan also tried to kill innocent people, certainly those who had not done him any harm. Not sure that's the kind of guy you want as your leader. Rick's been pushing people away but he hasn't tried to gun them down the second they walked into the prison. Still think he's is the best leader for this group, flaws and all. Shane doesn't even enter the conversation because he's too selfish and willing to sacrifice everyone to get whatever selfish goals he wants to attain.

Nice bit of acting from the guy playing Morgan. Great scenes. Although, I think that stab wound would affect Rick a little more than they showed.

The welcome mat line as she was munchin down on the chips was good.As for the bolded, that seems to be the consensus, I thought it was pretty over the top for the most part though. He was trying to black it up a little too much or something. It got better when he was more subdued, but the crazy wasn't a very believable performance to me.

Michonne actually seemed like a "normal " person . The episode was a real breakout or even reboot for her character.
