Did anyone honestly believe it would? I was a bit disappointed by it but it's not like it sucked. I don't think it was realistic to expect fans to stay away. This show is a monster. Be interesting to see when it finally slows down.
I assumed the S1 helicopter is the one from S3 that Andrea and Michonne stumbled on.
A lot of negative nellies in this thread the prior 2 seasons. And to read this thread most of the time in the past you'd think this was the worst tv show of all time. Pages and pages devoted to how boring it was searching for Sophia or how much Dale needed to die. But I guess that's par for the course when it comes to innerwebs discussions.
I found it interesting (and kind of distracting) that this woman (Clara?) spoke with an Irish accent. Maybe it was simply due to the fact that she was one her way to her honeymoon, and every flight goes through ATL, but I keep coming back to the fact that a European character has been introduced here. The producers could have gotten anyone to play this part here. Red herring?It was pretty clear as to who Eddie was and what/who was in the bag.She said a LOT ofSeriously? True but I never thought the negative views expressed here were an accurate reflection of either the show's quality (which I've always believed was much stronger than typically given credit for in this thread) or how it was being received by most viewers.
I believe TWD, unlike Breaking Bad and Mad Men, is owned by AMC. So they're probably making out like bandits with the success of this show in particular.
The one thing I mentioned from the very beginning was how this supposedly "not doing well on our own" woman completely ignored the food once it was given to her. Not really sure why Rick didn't put one through her head though. As for the "new, thinking zombie" theory, did we actually see her eat the food Rick handed her? The scene ended with her stabbing herself, Rick walking away, and "Eddie" moving underneath the blanket (who we never got to see.) I'm thinking we'll see them again soon, and Rick will have a "I should have taken you out when I had the chance" type moment.
TWD is better than most stuff on television. Every once in a while it features something monumentally stupid ("It's raining zombies"), but overall it's an interesting show if you overlook some of the dreck. I understand why it has mass appeal.
Can't wait for the S6 twist when we find out this entire thing is a hallucination of Rick's while in a coma.
They had been blasting music for 2 weeks to get the walkers out of parking lot so they could go raid the store. Why didn't the walkers fall off the roof then? If they were new, how did they get there?
The zombies were on the roof, they had no where to go. The zombies were "survivors" that were on the helicopter. I believe they made that apparent.

Lots of things.
1) I don't think they'd be able to hear the moaning all that way up, through a roof. It's not like the walkers are scream-moaning.
Maybe none of them stepped in that specific weak spot that set off a chain reaction on the weakened roof, leading to the heli coming down too.
Is there anything else on TV worth a crap? I will watch TWD for a while until something else gets me going.
Sometimes I just wanna see something cool, especially in a show about zombies. Zombies falling through the roof was very cool. I don't care what holes can be poked through it logically or attempted to be poked through it. It was f'n cool. That's enough for me.
The first two episodes of the new Showtime show "Masters of Sex" was pretty good.
With no heavy machinery, that would be really hard to do, especially not knowing if it would indeed work. Those things they built outside the gate that opens, the things that resembled those railroad tie obstacles from the beaches on D-Day (best way to explain them)? I'd build a bunch of those and line them up on the outside of the fence, along the whole perimeter.
Haven't seen it but previews looked like it might be something I would like.
